Pure Keto Blast One worry about a high-protein diet comes from all the soaked fats one eats - those fats that we're told cause elevated cholesterol, obstructed courses and, in the end, coronary illness. Pundits additionally express worry about the effect of the Atkins Diet on the general soundness of the health food nut. Contingent upon the nourishments picked by the health food nut, the eating routine may contain a lot of immersed fat and trans fat, putting those in danger for coronary illness in risk. Ongoing exploration has discovered that high-protein diets accelerate the movement of arteriosclerosis, the primary driver of coronary episodes. In addition, in spite of Atkins' cases, incredibly low-fat weight control plans have been found to turn around coronary illness.  https://www.alertpills.com/pure-keto-blast/

2023 Presidency: El-rufai’s Men Rev Up Campaign

Posters, souvenirs flood Kaduna

•Why we’re supporting gov’s ambition– LG chair, others

Quote:Noah Ebije, Kaduna

The popular saying among Nigerians, nay, Africans, that there is no smoke without fire, may have readily given credence to the current strong speculations that the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai has made up his mind to run for the 2023 presidential election as a candidate from the north under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

President Muhammadu Buhari, a northerner, is serving his second term in office following his victory at the February presidential election. The latest move by El-rufai, which remains in the background for now, to take a shot at the presidential race in 2023 may go a long way to thwart permutations on the return of power to the South after the North would have had its eight years.

The ‘smoke’ that may have indicated that there is actually a ‘fire’ somewhere towards the presidential ambition of El-rufai was further amplified by some youths in Kaduna State who are believed to be loyal to APC and are already adorning T-shirts with the inscription, “El-rufai for presidency, 2023”.

The youths in their numbers, penultimate Monday, stormed Kaduna Government House, wearing the shirts under El-rufai’s nose to celebrate the tribunal’s judgement that upheld his governorship election against the candidate of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Isah Ashiru.

Some of the youths were seen discussing in groups shortly after the celebration in the Government House. Also, posters, bearing El-rufai’s picture for 2023 presidency were earlier sighted on Kaduna streets, particularly along Gwamna road, in the city centre.

Reacting to the development, a political analyst in the State who did not want his name in print noted that, “I don’t see how a volunteer printer in this hard time will use his or her meagre financial resources to print posters and shirts for a politician who is swimming in money. So there must be an unseen hand funding the project from behind, and very soon the coast will be clear for all to see the man behind the wheels. Let’s just wait and see how the event will unfold”.

However, reacting to the speculation on El-rufai’s ambition, the National Coordinator, Buhari Mass Movement (BMM) in 2015 election and 2019 re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari, Alhaji Basheer Garba Umar said El-rufai has the constitutional right to gun for the country’s number one position if he so wished.

Umar who also contested Kaduna governorship elections in 2003 under the platform of National Conscience Party (NCP) and United Nigeria Peoples Party (UNPP) in 2007 respectively without success, added that he is ready to support El-rufai for the presidential race.

According to him, “El-rufai will have my outright support as I deem him an achiever per excellence and a bridge builder. He is constitutionally qualified as a Nigerian to contest for the office. He will be able to muster support in his immediate constituency, North West and by extension Northern Nigeria. Whoever contests with him will surely have some headache as he is a strategist and better than others who feel they can strategize”.

Also, in a recent news item on the Kaduna State owned radio station, 90.9 FM which was aired on September 17, the chairman, Lere local government area, Alhaji Abubakar Buba said, “We will do everything possible to make sure that Governor El-rufai contests the 2023 presidential election”.

“The quality and leadership style of Governor Nasir El-rufai has started attracting agitation from individuals and groups calling on him to contest the 2023 presidential election. One of the groups, Nasiriya organisation inaugurated recently in Kaduna to champion sensitization of the people on the need to work towards achieving this goal. The national chairman of the organisation, Garkuwa Ibrahim Buwaya said the decision was informed by the capability and wisdom of the governor to consolidate on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari after his second term in office”.

For the Kaduna State Publicity Secretary of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Abraham Catoh, “Governor Nasir El-rufai’s speculated aspiration for the 2023 presidential election is entirely his personal decision, which is anchored on the 1999 Constitution and it is also an intra-party affair. In any case, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is still in court challenging the 2019 presidential elections.

Should the Supreme Court judgement favour the PDP and Atiku Abubakar, El-rufai and other presidential aspirants would set aside their aspirations till the end of Atiku’s tenure. The legal battle is still on, I can’t speak further than this”.

But for the officials of the State All Progressives Congress (APC), their silence over the speculation was too loud. Neither the State chairman, Air Commodore Emmanuel Jakanda (Retd) nor the State Secretary, Yahaya Baba Pate responded to text messages sent to them by our Correspondent over the issue.

Driver kidnaps his boss for N20m ransom, gang leader killed for being greedy

A driver who masterminded the kidnap of his boss Dr. S.M.C Maduagwu, said to be the Chief Accountant of Plantgeria Limited, an oil firm based in Rivers state capital Port Harcourt, has been arrested alongside his gang members by the operatives of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT).

Uchechukwu Ibekwe and his gang members identified as Tony Rafael, Nnaji Romanus and Nwobodo Uchechukwu were arrested at their hideouts in Rivers and Imo States after collecting N20m ransom for the kidnap of his boss in February 2018.

The driver confessed to kidnapping his boss while paraded before newsmen, and he further revealed that he masterminded the abduction over his (Maduagwu) refusal to approve a loan he wanted to collect from the company.

Quote:“I am a driver at Plantgeria Company Limited and I was employed in 2007. I was transferred to Shell to work as a driver in 2017. I was recalled and posted to the head office of our company to work as a driver of an expatriate. In 2018, I applied for a loan from our company, requesting that my salary should be paid in advance. I met the Chief Accountant of our company to perfect the loan.
“He shouted at me and sent me out of his office. I left his office angrily and was thinking of how to deal with him. I got a call from a friend of mine known as Stanley, who is also from my community but was into armed robbery and kidnapping. I related what happened between the Chief Accountant and he suggested we should kidnap him (Maduagwu) or any of the expatriates. I chose the accountant and gave him information about the man.”

The father of three admitted to receiving N800,000 as his share of the ransom and buying a Nissan Primera with his cut.

Quote:“I was with my wife at home when the police came and arrested me. I have told the police all I knew about the kidnapping and I also told them that I have never gone out with the gang to carry out any form of kidnapping or armed robbery,” he stated.

Also confessing to his role in the kidnap, 38-year-old Nwobodo said he joined the gang to raise N200,000 for the treatment of his wife. The suspect who claimed to be farmer said he  masterminded the beheading of the leader of his gang, Christian Nkemjika a.k.a School Boy, because he was very greedy.  According to him, School Boy deceitfully declared a sum of N10 million instead of N20 million ransom he was paid by family members of the victim.

Quote:He said: “I am a full time farmer, but I went into kidnapping when my wife fell sick and was down with stroke. Her doctor demanded the sum of N200, 000 deposit (for her treatment) and I approached School-Boy my gang leader; he gave me the sum of N100, 000 to give to the doctor. He told me about the accountant I was to closely watch or monitor and I did as he instructed for about one month till the day he was ready to kidnap the man. I trailed the man (victim) from the time he left his office and when he got to Oil Mill junction, Schoolboy and other members of the gang who were decked in police and army uniform abducted the man and took him away in their Toyota Hilux van.
’The man was taken to my farm where he was kept and negotiation for his ransom was concluded.  I wasn’t in the farm with them, but after the kidnapping, School-Boy gave me the balance of N100,000 to give to my wife’s doctor. Two weeks later School Boy informed me that N10  million had been paid as ransom for the release of the accountant release and that the man had been freed.
‘’At that time, I didn’t doubt him and all of us that took part in the operation to the home of a native doctor known as Romanus Nnaji and he started sharing the money. He handed me the sum of N1.5million to give to Ibekwe and Stanley, the informants that brought the job and he also gave me N500, 000 as my own share.
‘’Few months after that operation, I got a call that my brother had been arrested by the police over the kidnapping of the accountant and that the actual amount paid for the man’s freedom was N20million. I felt bad that School-Boy cheated every one of us by declaring N10 million as the only ransom that was paid and he kept the other N10million to himself and shared the one he declared with us.
‘’I said nothing at that time because the police were looking for me and I ran to a church in Akwa Ibom for prayers to ask God for forgiveness and told the people at the church about the police that were looking for me. But while I was at the church, the policemen trailed me  down to the church and luckily for me I was in the church’s toilet when I saw the police van and I fled into the bush.
‘’I trekked in that bush to Ndoni area of Rivers State. When I got back, I called School Boy and told him that the police were looking for me and I could not continue to run and I assured him that I will surrender myself but he threatened to kill me.
‘’I then ran to Imo State and I stayed there for three weeks and the police came again to look for me but I escaped. While I was running away to hide for the tide to pass, I called School-Boy to give me part of the N10million he refused to declare to the gang so that I could run out of the country, but he refused, and I felt the best thing I should do at the moment was to set him up and have him killed.
‘’I contacted some members of De-Gbam confraternity who had been looking for him and I gave out his location to them and they attacked and beheaded him. After they succeeded in the killing of School-Boy, I approached a lawyer in Owerri Imo  State where I was hiding with my pregnant wife to seek a legal advice on what I could do since the police were hunting for me everywhere. I was there when the nurse at the hospital where my wife had gone to deliver her baby told me on the telephone that policemen had trailed my wife to her hospital and I ran away again. I was later arrested in June 2019 by the operatives in Orlu Imo State,’’ he added.

Romanus, the 50-year-old native doctor from Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State, said he was paid N200,000 to administer oaths on members of the gang, adding that he got N50,000 from the ransom. The suspects will be charged to court after investigation has been concluded.

70% of Nigerian prison inmates are illegally detained - New report

Katume Mohammed, the Kano State programme Officer of Prisoners Rehabilitation and Welfare Action (PRAWA) has said about 70 percent of prison inmates in Nigeria have not been proven guilty by the court as prescribed by law.

She spoke at a media capacity building seminar organized by the NGO in Kano to train crime reporters on various human rights dimensions in the criminal justice system in the country. She also criticized prison congestion in the country, saying the majority of the victims of illegal detention are petty offenders who could have been made to render community service commensurate to their offences.

According to her, the imprisonment option for petty offences is tantamount to criminalizing poverty and therefore appealed to criminal justice agencies to work closely with other stakeholders to explore other alternative punitive measures and make less use of imprisonment.

Quote:“We want to see that government decriminalizes petty offences by not taking the offenders to prison, there should be an alternative, something that as soon as these offenders are caught in violation of the law they should be asked to do, either community service like cleaning gutters, roads or any similar activity that will serve as a punishment for the offence.
“Detaining them has a cost implication for the government because when they are detained they must be fed, if they are sick the government has to take care of them and all these contribute a lot to the cost of governance,” she said.

Nigerians woke up to the news that the Federal Government has slammed a fresh seven-count charge against detained political activist and convener of the RevolutionNow Protest, Omoyele Sowore, accusing him of treason, money laundering and cyberstalking President Buhari.

Reacting to the new development, singer, Adekunle Gold Tweeted, 'I really don't want to believe those fictional charges against Sowore. Treasonable what? A fucking Joke'.

While Don Jazzy said, 'this dangerous precedent of stifling opposition voices and dissenting opinions has survived enough. Let's not pretend our nascent democracy isn't being sabotaged when citizens shudder at the thought of people they elected into power. I plead for Sowore'.

Omojuwa also tweeted, 'If citizens are now being charged for insulting the president, what’s left of Nigeria’s democracy? Free Sowore already. This is beyond embarrassing. I don’t even remember any previous Nigerian dictator who charged any citizen for insulting him. Not even Buhari as a military ruler'.

Adenike Fatai: Lady Commits Suicide In Lagos After Her Boyfriend Did Same (Photo
User Avatar Forum: Other Stories
Posted by: Edoman - 09-21-2019, 12:10 PM - No Replies

Igberetv reports that a female apprentice at a tailoring shop in Lagos, Adenike Fatai, committed suicide just three months after her boyfriend known as Bayo Atanda did same.

The 25-year-old indigene of Kwara State who lived with her mother at Igbekele Street, Iyana Cele bus stop, Shibiri area of Lagos State has reportedly been battling depression since her boyfriend died and she took a poisonous substance suspected to be 'sniper'.

Though she left no suicide note, a quick check on her Facebook page revealed that she engaged in posts which centered on death and depression. It was further learnt that her trauma was heightened by her late boyfriend family and friends' allegation of causing his death.

Tawa, Adenike's mother who confirmed her death said that she met her dead after she returned home from an evening prayer.

She said, “That day, she finished cooking around 7pm and ate. She was outside after eating while I went to the mosque. Around 8pm, she came to the mosque to collect the key to our apartment and I told her to check the shop.

“On getting home some minutes after, I saw her lying on the floor with a bottle of sniper beside her. I called for help but it was late.

“She was learning tailoring in her sister’s place in Ikorodu. All of a sudden, her boss sent her away. She told me she had got another place to learn the vocation in Orile and that she would be living with a friend. I asked her to come and learn it at my place but she refused.

“Whenever I asked to see the friend, she would say she was not around. It was when I threatened to disown her that she told me she was living with her boyfriend. I tried to convince her that what she did was wrong, but she said the man’s (Bayo’s) house was close to where she was learning tailoring. I met with the man and he said he really wanted to marry her. He looked very gentle. We were planning the introduction when he died.

“On a Sunday around 11pm, my daughter called me and started crying on the phone. She said Bayo drank sniper. They took him to the Lagos Island General Hospital, but he died the following morning. That time, she said she would follow him and I tried to caution her.”

Tawa admitted that Adenike got depressed after her boyfriend's death and even relocated to Ikorodu area of Lagos state. She however said she (Adenike) returned after her condition improved.

“I never thought she was thinking of suicide because she looked happy. Some clerics warned us that death was hovering around her and I prayed over it.

“I learnt she called somebody that evening and told the person that she wanted to go and meet Bayo and that she would drink sniper. I don’t know the kind of love she had for him.

“There was a day a friend of Bayo called her and accused her of killing him. I told her to ignore them. The mistake I made was that I should have changed her SIM card,” she added.

Also confirming the death of his daughter, Adenike's father said he never knew she was battling depression. Idris said he only spoke to her on the phone since he separated from her mother.

“Since her mother and I separated, I usually talked to her (Fatai) on the phone. Probably she would have told me what was bothering her if we had the opportunity of seeing each other" he said.

Zamfara Police Command on Friday inaugurated Operation Eagle Eye to check criminal activities in the urban and rural areas of the state.

Briefing newsmen in Gusau the Police Commissioner in the state, CP Usman Nagogo, said the unit was necessary to carry out special patrol in order to fight all forms of social ills in the society.

The police commissioner said the state had started enjoying peace from the prolonged activities of bandits that impeded the socio-economic development of the state.

He said the command would use the six vehicles already received from the state government to support the logistics of the security operatives in the state.

Nagogo said that the unit was also divided into six divisions to enable the operation cover all areas and to make sure that criminals do not transfer their activities to cities.

UN Report On Violent Conflicts In Nigeria Disappointing –presidency

The presidency yesterday challenged the United Nations (UN) rapporteur on violent conflicts in Ngeria to adhere to truth in the presentation of reports. Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu, in a statement on yesterday, expressed disappointment that the rapporteur was silent on intra-group violence in the organisation’s report. “The UN representative needs to be truthful and evenhanded in her assignment, ” he noted.

Garba was reaching to a press reports of the UN rapporteur on violence in Nigeria. He said: “While we agree that the violence in Nigeria, or in any country, is a major concern and that there is a rippling effect, we are disappointed that the rapporteur was silent on intra-group violence. “In Benue, Taraba, Cross River States and many parts of the country, most of the casualties result from intragroup, inter-group and community violence.

Many of the displaced persons across the nation are also victims of these conflicts.” “There is absolutely no doubt that violence between farmers and herders, which has a long history in our country spiked in recent years but the effectiveness with which the Federal and State authorities responded made a big difference. Calm has virtually returned to all parts affected by the peculiar violence,” the presidential aide said.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

SATURDAY, 21ST SEPTEMBER.

IMPACT YOUR WORLD WITH HIS DIVINE PRESENCE

…he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand (Isaiah 53:10).

The Bible records that if all the miraculous works Jesus did were to be written, the whole world wouldn’t contain the books. That’s absolutely true. His entire life was an unending stream of miracles, signs, and wonders. He brought hope, joy, and life to many. The Bible says He went about doing good, healing ALL that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38).

This Jesus, although in heaven, is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He’s still loving, gracious, merciful, compassionate, and works miracles today as He did in Bible days. He still lifts, blesses, and transforms lives today, but He’s doing it through us.

That’s what we read in our opening verse; we’re His seed, prolonging His days. We stand in His stead, bearing His glory and divine presence. He gave us the Holy Spirit, so we can minister His grace, wisdom, salvation, righteousness, love, healing, wholeness and beauty in a dark world, to a broken humanity.

When we come before the sick, the downtrodden, the poor, the rejected, the neglected, and the fainthearted, Jesus shows up in us and there’s a turnaround in their situation. He’s the solution that the world is looking for, and we minister Him, for we’re partakers of His divine nature and dispensers of His verities and love.

You bear His divine presence; you’re Heaven’s headquarters, because you’re God’s house; His living, moving, active tabernacle. Therefore, impact your world with His divine presence. He’s as present in you and active through you today as He was in Bible days. Have this consciousness, the Christ-consciousness, and bless your world with His divine presence that you bear.

PRAYER

Dear Father, what a privilege it is, not only to be a partaker of eternal verities, but a bearer, conveyor, and dispenser of your divine presence. Through me, your manifold wisdom, grace, perfection, salvation, righteousness, love, healing, wholeness and beauty are made manifest, bringing a lasting transformation to my world, by the power of your Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

#TALKINGSESSION

21ST SEPTEMBER.

KINDLY SAY THESE WORDS OUT LOUD.

Dear Father, thank You for showing me my responsibility as it pertains to my physical body. I vehemently refuse sickness, disease, and weakness. I am vitalized, quickened and energized in my physical body by the Spirit that dwells in me.

I live in higher planes of life where I reign in righteousness, through Christ Jesus. I know who I am; I am the seed of Abraham!

The world belongs to me. I reign and rule over circumstances by the power of the greater One who lives in me! He lives in my spirit, in my soul, and in my body! No failure for me, and no defeat on my path; I am moving from glory to glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Millions is Blizzard spending to bring this back
User Avatar Forum: News

OMG, I had exactly the chat with a participant another day. We talked about how raid was used by individuals all night and day, and dungeon finder is dragging its ass at 10PM trying to pull groups together to buy wow classic gold. After midnight, forget it! We have other duties and jobs. . .or in one case for me, thirty-eight hours that are straight anymore. I've gotten old. I gotpee and run every two hours. I fell asleep in the Botanica. Yeah, dropped. . .asleep in the middle of a dungeon. I woke up in Stormwind, going..."What the hell happened?" Getting older sucks.

Yeah 2,100 people play on the Elysium Project. Millions is Blizzard spending to bring this back? Let's say only a thousand bucks to recreate it, just based on that alone. . Every one of these 2,100 individuals would need to invest $476 to justify it. Of course there will be more than that it goes but how many people? Thousands? Tens of thousands? So they are not going to be making any money off it. I believe that he was totally right when he stated"you think you do but you do not". From the general"you" sense of the typical WoW Classic player. The graphics are outdated, levelling is tough, you have to search WoW ClassicHead for how to perform quests etc..

I will be fair... and I understand I have absolutely NO nostalgia for Vanilla WoW Classic. However, I have played with WoW Classic, also I've enjoyed than the last. I feel those Devs have the ideal idea... the group of people who want Classic WoW Classic likely do not remember half of those drawbacks that it had. You can find YouTube videos explaining themand Boogie does list some too. I think the curiosity wont. Humans have evolved to proceed. To innovate. And many people going backwards to a previous version of WoW Classic, it will definitely get older for them. I am certain that there are some exceptions.

From those that left WoW Classic earlier BfA, they would probably go to WoW Classic but those left during BfA might find a bad taste for WoW Classic nostalgia with cheap wow gold classic. It feels that Classic WoW Classic and Warcraft 3 Reforged are possible because of Blizzard Activision understanding how bad the backlash from BFA was going to get and so they needed something to fall back on when things didn't work out. For me personally, Warcraft nostalgia is dead and it would feel tainted for me personally I attracted Classic and Reforged since I'd be supporting the firm ruined the World of Warcraft narrative for me.I just chose to play Vanilla WoW Classic for two weeks prior to Burning Crusade released. I'm excited to get the opportunity to play with 40 man raids and forth as they had been intended. Not run on a degree 120 and decimate things.

Don't do it as awful as OSRS

I think somebody reminiscent of write this whole comment the time'wasted' on the game. I've seen people who loved the sport say similar things, but most of what you have said paints you as both ignorant and dumb because quite frankly your main beef with the game is actually just a personal preference of game play. You can not call my observation that the game is only grinding an opinion with OSRS gold. It is objectivly accurate, rather than in a way that is good. Some one said that it's"as grindy as you want it to be," and I really had a chuckle out loud. That is true in the sense that, yes, I really could grind in the game. Or walk off and I could CHOOSE to turn off the game. What a choice? Preference may be a factor in my opinion; but there's at least one quantitative factor that can always be used to quantify the values, irrespective of preferance of a game.

That step is only: content / alternativly, or time: articles / price. A"game" like runescape has hardly any content, and a huge price. Therefore it is poor, objectivly. You might ALWAYS be playing something. You might be brainwashed enough to state :"No! There is HUNDREDS of hours of content in the game" Or a lot of a sociopath to think:"Another players ARE the content!" But you'd be objectivly wrong that your oponion has no value. That's not content, that's a slog. If you play a private OSRS server that has the grining turned down to a good level, you'll immediately realize that the game just has about 40 hours of articles in it complete (Plus minigames, but those are by definition different games).

Tell me : Why does it take a million hours to get to 99 in all stats? Why are the fall rates for gear low? Why is the econamy STILL busted? Why is Runescape so blatantly boring? Money. Money is the answer. To access 90% of the content, you will need to pay a monthly fee. This fact discredits the game; Why does you cost based on time and also simotaniously wase your time? Because, of course, it wants to sink in it's skinner-box claws into your brain and find out how much time it can take you (and your wallet) for a ride. MMOs don't need to do that, and they shouldn't. Don't do it as awful as OSRS. Whenever I see a few poor brainwashed soul shield Runescape, I'm immediately reminded of someone using stockholm syndrome, or even someone at a toxic relationship with an abusive spouse.

OSRS has trapped you in the monetary ploy of it, holding your character and your lender hostage supporting a subscription. It conditions you the degree up sound's jingle is the only way that you can extract joy out of your experience to buy RuneScape gold. You have been somehow conditioned by them into thinking you like doing the identical thing over and over again for no real reason. Nobody is naturally like that. It doesn't make sense; it is irrational to do exactly the exact same thing. It is the type of thing generally deployed as a punishment to criminals. And you grind, because the sport was precision-designed to give you a fraction of it is content upfront, and drip-feed you the rest.

Unknown woman steals 2-month-old baby from mother in Ekiti

 September 20, 2019

An unknown woman has allegedly stolen a two-month old baby from his mother in Ado Ekiti capital city.
The incident occurred on Friday at the State Secretariat in Ado Ekiti metropolis.

Witnesses said the woman tricked the baby’s mother to follow her to the State Secretariat to collect some relief materials being given by government to flood victims.
“On getting there, she sent the mother to help her to procure recharge card but ran away with the baby before the arrival of the woman,” a source said.
Narrating her ordeal, the woman who was drenched in tears, explained that the abductor whom she suspected to be from the Eastern part of the country, had been patronizing her consistently at the Oja-Oba market, where she sells soup ingredients.

She said the woman informed her on Wednesday that she would take her to the State Secretariat where her husband works and that the husband would facilitate the relief materials for her.
The woman, who preferred to be anonymous, explained that the woman came to her shop with a list of possible beneficiaries and included her name making her to believe that she was being favoured.
According to her, “the woman who had become a regular customer had this morning invited me to the Secretariat and pretended to be waiting for someone, having entered one or two offices under the pretence of making some arrangements.

“She later took my baby and handset from me and asked me to go and buy recharge cards but before I came back, she had fled with my baby”, she stated.
The poor woman, who claimed she had lost a child recently before the delivery of the stolen boy, said the suspect collected her phone to prevent her from contacting the police for her immediate arrest after perpetrating the crime.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti Command, DSP Caleb Ikechukwu, could not be reached to confirm the incident.

His mobile phone line was switched off when called.

Tradermoni: Apologise To God, Nigerian Activist Tells Osinbajo

A political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to beg God and seek forgiveness of Nigerians over the role he played in sharing the N10,000 Tradermoni used to deceive most people before the last general elections.

Frank said Osinbajo, a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) pastor allowed himself to be used is now facing humiliation from the same people as a reward.

Reacting to the reported bitter experience the Vice President and his aides are currently facing in government, Comrade Frank, through a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday, said Nigerians should not feel sorry for Prof. Osinbajo unless he apologises for being one of the major causes of the sufferings of Nigerians currently.

The Bayelsa-born activists reminded Nigerians how Osinbajo in far away New York "lied to the world that the reported cases of kidnapping in Nigeria were being exaggerated," adding that nemesis has caught up with the Vice President.
Frank wondered how a Prof. of law will go so low to embark on the sharing of valueless N10,000 as Tradermoni in a crisis-ridden economy like that of Nigeria?

"It is said that when you eat with the devil, use a long spoon, Osibanjo has been eating with the devil with his bare hands and that is why he can’t say anything to defend the masses.
"He was used to committing electoral fraud through Trader Moni, now that his services are no longer needed, he has been made irrelevant.
"For Osibandjo, it is ok for Nigerians to suffer and wallow in penury so long as he is allowed to eat with the devil. He has been rewarded for his hard work of Trader Moni by being dumped and made irrelevant."

The statement also accused Osinbajo of 'wicked silence when APC government abused Nigerians through wrong and clueless policies, police and military brutality that have put over 70% of Nigerians in poverty and sent some more to their early grave.

"Christians are being slaughtered by the Fulani herdsmen, yet it does not bother pastor Osibanjo. He did not issue a statement or sympathised with Christians community, not even the late redeemed female pastor that was beheaded in Abuja but now the table has turned, let him enjoy his meal with the devil.

"He should beg Nigerians and God for forgiveness otherwise more disgrace awaits him, the evil that men do, live with them.

"Osibanjo should bear his cross in silence and the cabal should also take note that every day is for the thief but one day is for the owner. Today it is Osibanjo, tomorrow maybe their turn as God will weed out the evil and corrupt government very soon," Frank stated.

Signed

We Are All Sowore - Punch
User Avatar Forum: General Discussion
Posted by: Edoman - 09-20-2019, 09:39 PM - No Replies

At about the same time that President Muhammadu Buhari eventually consented to let Shiite leader, Ibrahim el-Zakzaky, go on medical pilgrimage to India, another executive prisoner was making his way to jail. Omoyele Sowore, founder of SaharaReporters and one of the presidential candidates in the 2019 elections, was arrested by the DSS for daring to call for #RevolutionNow.

The significance of this “prisoner-swap” was not lost on all of us. A close friend whispered to me that, “The President must be under strict instructions from his spiritual advisers (they are no longer called marabouts or juju priests) to keep a certain number of people incarcerated to appease the gods of power.”

It turned out that el-Zakzaky’s trip to India was just a ruse. It was actually to appease a number of the DSS officials who were given an all-expense-paid trip abroad with taxpayers’ money. Lucky chaps eh? The Shiite leader and his wife got to India alright, but claimed there was nothing medical about their visit as security officials were literally running the tests by themselves! There were even insinuations that the couple were more unsafe in India than Nigeria as they could have been easily dispensed with under “medical supervision” – if you get my drift. So, they speedily asked to be flown home without further delay.

But this story is about Sowore, not el-Zakzaky, and I promise not to digress any further.

As we speak, the Ondo-born media buff is still cooling his feet in gulag. A competent court of law has denied him bail, insisting that security authorities have a right to hold him for up to 45 days while “investigating” his crime. That’s another way of sentencing one to jail well before one’s case is heard, and “nothing will happen.” Or saying that it is procedurally right to arrest someone before deciding whether or not they committed a crime! This is a wonderful time to be a law enforcement officer!

Many of us are beginning to worry that Nigerian courts are gradually putting a judicial stamp of authority on executive rascality in a constitutional democracy.

But there’s a bright side: We’re making steady progress up the ladder as one of the most draconian democracies of the world. Recall that only recently we became the poverty capital of the world. So, more trophies are coming our way. Besides, we should be grateful to God that our President is not the leader of Hong Kong where the youth have been protesting for months now.

What Sowore’s jailers probably don’t reckon with is that he is a well-rehearsed jail tenant. In his earlier days as a student union leader at the University of Lagos, he was on several times arrested and detained for activism. He even lost two years in school for his persuasions. So, he’s not exactly an aje butter who would break down and cry under incarceration. Instead, his convictions and resolve will solidify. Throwing such a guy into detention is like pouring petrol on fire.

The Igbo have a saying that a wrestler who pins another to the ground pins himself also. He is free only when he lets his opponent go. The lyrics of the inimitable singer, Asa, re-echo the same message in her hit song, Jailer: “I’m in chains, you’re in chains too; I wear uniforms, you wear uniforms too…”

For as long as the like of Sowore and el-Zakzaky are in jail, President Buhari is in their company also. He is in the jail of public perception and opinion. If they catch diarrhoea, the President’s bowels must move violently also – in view of what happened to MKO Abiola in 1998. Rushing in and out of toilet is not the best way to go about the difficult task of leadership. It’s evidence of jail of the mind. As Fela Anikulap-Kuti would say, “All jail na jail.”

If I were Buhari, I would not do Sowore the honour of throwing him into detention. The guy would quickly morph into a superstar, for God’s sake. I would remind myself that all through history, jail has been the breeding ground for soon-to-be leaders. Mugabe, Mandela, Obasanjo… the list is endless. Why would I want to turn “that small boy” into a celebrity with my own hands?

I would turn his “insult” into motivation for “revolutionizing” governance in Nigeria. I would go into my room, lock the doors and think long and hard about how to please the people I lead once again. I would drive members of my cabinet to their limits until they come up with bright ideas (beyond Ruga) to dispel the darkness now gathering around Aso Rock. I would shake those fat cats up so much that their heads would spin. After all, they are in the same boat with me, enjoying the ride and taking none of the heat.

I would insist that every minister, special adviser or special assistant genuinely earns their pay. Not warm their seat all day as they currently seem to be doing. Except, perhaps, the problem is not with the ministers but with the Chief Minister himself!! In that case, I pass. No comment.

Leadership is not a tea party. Leading a country like Nigeria is not for the faint hearted. I am often tempted to feel sorry for Buhari, considering his many travails. But I refuse to give in to that temptation. After all, we no send am. It doesn’t make sense to feel sorry for a man who crawled, craved and cried for a job and eventually got it. Then, he went to sleep on the job! Even when he had a glorious chance to walk away, he let vanity get the better of him. So, he must serve his (jail) time in Aso Rock. We’re all prisoners of the choices we make.

I don’t know what his intelligence chiefs are telling him. But I can tell they’re doing him no good. Should the President by any chance be interested in “original” “follow-come” intelligence from the streets, I would be glad to offer it here for free: Oga, there are nearly 200 million Sowores out there who are earnestly asking for a revolution. Their eyes are red with hunger and anger. Even the operatives are Sowore; it’s just that they’d rather not admit it.

I know that our security chiefs will not like me for putting it so bluntly and, as we say in Nigeria, for trying to “commot garri from their mouth.” But I owe them no apologies. After all, Nigeria is already one big jailhouse. We’re all just changing rooms within the jail.

President Buhari is Good, He Inherited bad economy- Osinajo

Quote:Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday disproved the insinuations that President Muhammadu Buhari doesn’t know how to govern.

He also disagreed with inference that selfishness is the bane of those in government, saying that the Buhari administration is doing its best for Nigerians.

Osinbajo said the efforts of the incumbent administration could have been felt more if not for the activities of those he described as “saboteurs” allegedly working against the government.

The Vice President spoke at Saint Luke’s Anglican Church, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State, during the burial service for Mrs. Moroluke Fakoyede, mother of the Secretary to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr. Ola Olukoyede.

He said that Buhari inherited “a highly debased economy” from the immediate past administration of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, a situation which, he said, prevented some of the steps taken by President Buhari to manifest on the well-being of the poor Nigerians.

Osinbajo said, “I became frightened when the man of God said only those of us in powers are enjoying. This is not true. We have done our best for Nigerians.

“The concern of President Buhari, All Progressives Congress and those of us in his government is for Nigeria to move forward; and we shall achieve this.

“All the good social investment programmes such as TraderMoni, the N-POWER and others will soon start to bear fruit and manifest.“We are all going to benefit from Buhari’s administration.“This country requires everybody to be on board to work hard.

“It is not true that President Buhari doesn’t know how to govern.“It is not because we have not done enough; there are saboteurs and many fifth columnists working against us. But we are going to triumph,” Osinbajo said.

The cleric in charge of the Church, Rev. Mathew Ayorinde Ajao, had, in his sermon, expressed disappointment at the way some leaders pilot the nation’s affairs, saying, “apart from the increasing scourge of poverty, Nigerians are not enjoying all the basic amenities that can improve their well-being.

“Those in positions of authorities have access to everything, but not the people. That was why they are not getting the right advice.“Nigerians are suffering. We are not enjoying anything. No light, no good road, no improved health facilities and others.

“Government must empower the poor, not the one where you give generators to people without anything they will use them to power.“Some are very rich, they have everything, but not blessed by heaven,” the cleric said.

Ajao lauded the deceased for working assiduously to give her children education and showed them the way of the Lord, saying this was responsible for her glorious end.

Among dignitaries at the service were Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi; Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi; APC former National Legal Adviser, Muiz Banire (SAN); and Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State Police Command, Mr. Asuquo Amba.

Biodun Fatoyinbo Demands N50m From Busola Dakolo, Files Counter-claim

Quote:COZA Rape Scandal: Pastor Fatoyinbo files counter-claim, demands N50m from Busola Dakolo

The Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Biodun Fatoyinbo, on Friday, approached a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory sitting at Bwari, adducing reasons why the suit alleging that he forcefully raped Busola, wife of celebrity musician, Timi Dakolo in 2002, should be dismissed.

In a preliminary objection he filed through his team of lawyers led by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Dr. Alex Iziyon, the embattled cleric, maintained that Busola’s suit was frivolous and statute barred.

He argued that all the reliefs Busola sought against him in the suit marked CV/2817/18, were not grantable.

It will be recalled that Mrs. Dakolo had in a Writ of Summons she filed before the court on September 6, alleged that the COZA pastor had on September 23, 2002, raped her.

She told the court that the pastor forcefully pushed her until she fell on the couch close to the front door of her house after which he pinned her to the couch, undressed her, “caressing her body, handling her breasts, exposing his genitals to her glare, forcing a bottle of soda (Krest) down her throat thereby making her breathing difficult, all the while covering her mouth to muffle her screams, and thereafter threatened her life”.

The claimant equally alleged that the defendant sexually abused her again on September 26, 2002, even as she urged the court to declare that pastor Fatoyinbo’s action was “outrageous and reckless, and have caused the Claimant continuous emotional distress and amount to intentional infliction of emotional distress”.

Aside praying the court to direct the defendant to publish a “clearly worded apology” to her on the front page of at least two National Newspapers and two National Televisions for seven days running consecutively, Mrs. Dakolo, aslo demanded that the defendant should be compelled to address a personal letter of apology to her showing honest remorse “for his misdeeds”.

More so, she prayed the court to award her a cost of N10million.

Meanwhile, in his preliminary objection, pastor Fatoyinbo maintained that the suit was grossly incompetent.

He further argued that the court lacks the jurisdiction to entertain a suit that is frivolous and amounted to “palpable abuse of court process”.

In a 14-paragraphed affidavit that was deposed to by one Ademola Adetuberu who identified himself as Executive Senior Assistant to Pastor Fatoyinbo, he told the court that the substratum of the claimant’s suit was “the mere purported allegation of emotional and psychological distress as a result of the said purported mere allegation of rape against the Defendant”.

‘That I am aware that the Claimant made an allegation of rape and emotional distress before the Nigeria Police Force against the Defendant which is still a subject of investigation”.

He told the court that Mrs. Dakolo and her lawyer had after they filed the suit, leaked the documents to both electronic and print media organizations, with the story widely shared on the internet “to embarrass and scandalize the Defendant”.

Consequently, in his counter-claim, Pastor Fatoyinbo prayed the court to award a cost of N50m, jointly and severally against the Claimant and her Solicitor.

Busola had about two months ago, made a shocking revelation in a detailed interview with Chude Jideonwo, a lawyer and journalist, recounting how as a teenager, she was allegedly repeatedly raped by the Abuja-based cleric.

Pastor Fatoyinbo had since denied the allegation, insisting that it was a deliberate effort to damage his reputation.

Christopher Olalegbin: EFCC Arraigns Suspect Arrested In Collaboration With FBI
User Avatar Forum: News
Posted by: Edoman - 09-20-2019, 06:43 PM - No Replies

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday arraigned one Christopher Olalegbin on a two-count charge bordering on money laundering to the tune of N22,239,869.79k, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that Mr Olalegbin was arraigned alongside his firms, Pentview Luxury Real Estate Management Limited and Gelbin Technology Limited, before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, for the offence, which is contrary to Section 332(1) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

According to EFCC, the suspect was arrested during a collaborative operation by the commission and America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for his alleged involvement in illegal internet activities.

The defendant also allegedly used his companies to receive and conceal the proceeds of his criminal activities.

One of the counts reads: “That you, Olalegbin Christopher, Olatunji Olalegbin Mary (at large), Pentview Luxury Real Estate Management Limited, Gelbin Technology Limited and others still at large, between 2015 and 2019 in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, conspired to collaborate in the concealing and disguising the genuine nature and ownership of the aggregate sum of N22,239,869.79k (Twenty Two Million, Two Hundred and Thirty-nine Thousand, Eight Hundred and Sixty-nine Naira, Seventy-nine Kobo only)being money received and derived from your illegal internet activities.”

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him.

In view of his plea, prosecution counsel, MK Bashir, asked the court for a trial date and also prayed the court to remand the defendant in prison custody pending the determination of the case.

However, counsel to the defendant, Abimbola Akeredolu (SAN) informed the court that a bail application had been filed and served on the prosecution.

Akeredolu also told the court the prosecution had responded to the affidavit.

She, therefore, urged the court to grant her client bail in the most liberal terms.

In his response, Bashir told the court that a counter-affidavit had been filed and served on the defence, where he opposed the prayer of the defendant.

The prosecution counsel further described the defendant as a flight risk, adding “The defendant, while making statement in the EFCC office, tried to move money from his Zenith Bank account through his phone and also wiped all the information on his phone.”

Bashir also informed the court that the defendant’s mum, who aided him in perpetrating the crime, could not be found.

“My Lord, the defendant too may also abscond like his mum.

“He is 26 years old and has never worked anywhere. Yet, he acquired a 2019 model Porsche car worth N120million and a 2015 model Mercedes Benz car worth N75million,” Bashir further submitted.

The prosecution counsel, therefore, urged the court not to grant the defendant bail.

Justice Taiwo, after listening to both parties, said “the offence is a

bailable one.”

The judge, therefore, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N5 million, with two sureties in like sum.

One of the sureties must be a level 16 officer with the Lagos State Government, while the other must be a relation of the defendant resident in Lagos.

The judge also directed that the addresses of the sureties must be verified by the EFCC, while evidence of identification of the sureties must be provided to the court.

Justice Taiwo adjourned the case to October 18 and 23 for the commencement of trial and also ordered the defendant to be remanded in Kirikiri prison pending the perfection of his bail conditions.

Pastor David Daniel Beaten For Masturbating During Deliverance On A Lady
User Avatar Forum: Other Stories
Posted by: Edoman - 09-20-2019, 05:55 PM - No Replies

A man of God, Pastor David Daniel has received the beating of his life after he lost concentration and tried to deliver a woman sexually in Lagos.

The Police at Ejigbo Division led by CSP Olabisi Okuwobi have rescued and arrested a 40-year old pastor, David Daniel, who reportedly went to conduct deliverance on a single lady in Lagos but started masturbating after seeing her captivating bums.

A report by PM Express revealed that the incident happened at Ailegun Road, Bucknor Estate, Ejigbo area of Lagos, where the lady resides and does her business.

The lady, simply known as Happiness, raised alarm and the neighbours, who heard her voice, rushed in. They reportedly joined hands and beat up the pastor before the Police went there and rescued him.

According to the victim, Happiness, she was in her shop when Pastor Daniel came and gave her prophecy about her family and her life generally, which she said were facts and she was convinced that he was a man of God.

She said Pastor Daniel went further and told her that he needed to go to her house to anoint it with olive oil since she just moved into the apartment and she accepted. She said it was when she got into her bedroom that he brought the olive oil and wanted to rub it into her private part. She reportedly resisted him before he asked her to get up and face the Bible. He was said to have moved to her back while praying; using his mouth to caress her bum.

“He asked me to pack my clothes tightly so that the shape of my bums will show and started praying. While he spoke in tongues, i looked back only to see him using the olive oil to masturbate his dick and later went to the toilet” she said.

However, after the encounter, Happiness said she realised that he was not a real Pastor but before then he had forced her to sow seed with money and collected her perfume.

She further narrated that after the prayers and the purported deliverance in her house, Pastor Daniel then told her that he wanted to marry and will making love to her.

It was such illicit move the next day to have s-x with Happiness that landed Pastor Daniel in trouble as he was thoroughly beaten up by the neighbours when she raised alarm.

Pastor Daniel is now being detained at the police station. He will be charged to court for his conduct.

Tribunal: Atiku Writes Open Letter To Nigerians
User Avatar Forum: General Discussion
Posted by: Edoman - 09-20-2019, 05:41 PM - No Replies

Candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has broken his silence after recently losing his bid to challenge President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in the February 23 presidential election at the Election Petitions Tribunal, Igbere TV reports.

Atiku, in statement obtained by Igbere TV on Friday, confirmed that he and his party, the PDP, would be challenging the Tribunal verdict at the Supreme Court.

The former vice president explained that his decision to proceed to the Supreme Court is to fight for Nigeria’s democracy.

“It is for this, and other patriotic reasons, that I am pursuing this judicial route: To ensure that the votes of Nigerians count and are counted,” Atiku said in the statement posted on his verified Facebook page.

READ FULL STATEMENT BELLOW:

Quote:A Message of Gratitude to Nigerians For Your Support on This Necessary Journey.

Dearly beloved citizens of Nigeria,

I write to personally thank you for your support for our shared common goal and the solidarity I enjoyed from all walks of life and every strata of society, right from July 21, 2018, when I informed you, the good people of Nigeria, that I would contest the 2019 Presidential election, to Wednesday, September 11, 2019, when the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal rendered its verdict.

Nothing good comes easy, and hard as the task to rid Nigeria from the forces of fascism, and be an instrument for the full restoration of the rule of law and democracy in Nigeria is, your support makes the struggle worthwhile.

I owe so much to this great land of Nigeria that took me from the streets of Jada, where I sold firewood, to the heights I have attained, by God’s benevolence, in the civil service, in corporate Nigeria, and in public service.

If I do not play my part in making it possible for other orphaned children, indigent youths and the less privileged, to replicate and even surpass my path to significance, I would have failed my Maker. If I do not ensure that the ladder I climbed remains accessible to those at the bottom, middle and top tiers of society, I would not have fulfilled my purpose.

And only by ensuring that democracy is not just done, but seen to be done, can Nigeria and Nigerians have a sense that this our dear land is indeed a land where Unity, Faith, Peace and Progress reside.

It is for this, and other patriotic reasons, that I am pursuing this judicial route: To ensure that the votes of Nigerians count and are counted.

Yes, those who do not want this as Nigeria’s reality, will use every trick in the book to undermine, discourage, misinform and mislead, but with God’s help and the support of Nigerians, we will ensure that Nigeria makes a course correction away from tyranny and towards democracy.

We must return to being Africa’s bastion of democracy, where the rights to Freedom of Speech and Freedom after the Speech, are guaranteed. We must stand together to pursue this just cause all the way so that our judiciary is not afraid to do their jobs and have to be wary of blackmail, intimidation, and victimisation.

I note the immense outpouring of goodwill from ordinary Nigerians in every nook and cranny of Nigeria and from all regions, religions and relationships. Once again I thank you all for your support. I also thank the governors elected on the platform of my party, the Peoples Democratic Party, as well as the National Executive Committee, for their unanimous and unambiguous support for the judicial phase of this struggle, especially after it was announced that we would go on to appeal.

I urge all Nigerians to continue their support for this recourse to constitutional order via the courts. Even if there is little or nothing you can do to ensure that justice is done in Nigeria, just believe that it will happen. Let us never underestimate the effect of our belief in Nigeria.

Finally, I say to all concerned, that we will all die and give an account of our lives to our Creator.

Thank you and may God bless Nigeria.

Destiny Ehikwe, Transporter Killed By Armed Robbers In Delta
User Avatar Forum: Other Stories

Quote:A 33-year-old transporter, Destiny Ehikwe, has been murdered by suspected thieves in Illah, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.

The deceased, who left behind his wife and seven-month-old baby, was said to be plying the Asaba-Agbor-Benin route with his Sienna space wagon, and was contracted by a man in his 20s to convey some items for him.

A member of the deceased’s family, one Mr Okonta, told PUNCH Metro that Destiny was contracted on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, to convey the items from Issele-Uku to Ubolue.

He said, “On Wednesday, somebody contracted my brother to convey some items for him and Destiny charged him N10,000, but the man paid N1,000 and promised to pay the balance at the end of the trip. But my brother could not meet up with the schedule that day, so the man continued calling him. He eventually made the trip on Thursday, but did not return.

“So, on Friday, his wife alerted us and we tracked his phone and found out that it was in Illah; we reported the case at the Illah Police Division and policemen later called us that his vehicle was recovered and we went there and saw that the vehicle belongs to Destiny.

“The police tracked the number that the man used to call my brother to an old woman and from there, the police laid an ambush where the vehicle was discovered and later arrested some persons, who led the police to where Destiny’s decomposing body was found on Monday, September 16, in an abandoned soakaway pit. Some parts of his body were missing; we suspect foul play.”

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said four suspects had been arrested in connection with the killing of Destiny.

The PPRO stated, “Destiny was lured to the Illah community in order to steal his vehicle. The assailants shot him and left the vehicle in the bush, while perfecting plans to take the vehicle out of the community. We recovered the deceased’s phone from the killers.

“The body was discovered in a soakaway pit and the suspects are all in their mid 20s. Investigation is ongoing to recover the arms used to shoot the deceased. For now, I cannot say the suspects are ritualists, but we discovered that they had the intention of stealing the vehicle; the deceased’s corpse has been deposited in the mortuary.”

The average person needs a certain number of calories to keep their brain and body functioning. The general diet guidelines are to shoot for 1200 calories for women and 1500 calories for men for healthy weight loss. Anything below that and you will be sabotaging yourself. How much weight loss will that give you? If you are only a little overweight and as a man and are used to having 1700 calories per day then you will only have a deficit of 200 calories per day. With that, you can only expect to lose about 1 pound a week. However,if you are severely overweight and your body is used to eating 3000+ calories in a day you will see your weight melt off fairly rapidly at first. If you add in exercise you can get even better results.>>> https://www.supplementsmegamart.com/keto-blast/

Nigeria Liquify Natural Gas (NLNG)

The execution of the $17 billion Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Train 7 project will at its peak create over 40,000 direct and indirect jobs, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Simbi Wabote has said.He stated this in Abuja recently during the signing of the Letter of Intent (LoI) for the Train-7 Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract between NLNG and the preferred consortium- SCD, which is constituted by three entities – Saipem, Chiyoda and Daewoo.

The Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Attah hinted that Train-7 will move from Front End Engineering Design (FEED) to detailed design, construction, commission and delivery and this phase will attract almost $7bn with an addition of the upstream scope of $10bn which will boost the foreign direct investment profile of Nigeria.”

He pledged the company’s commitment to achieve the project within four to five-year period and hoped that it would sign the Final Investment Decision (FID) by the end of October 2019.

Dwelling further on the opportunities, Wabote noted: “The NLNG Train-7 will deliver 100 percent engineering of all non-cryogenic areas in-country.The total in-country engineering man-hours is set at 55 percent which exceeds the minimum level stipulated in the NOGICD Act, in line with our resolve to push beyond the boundary of limitations.”

The schedule of the NOGICD Act set the minimum engineering man-hours for FEED and Detailed Engineering on LNG Facility at 50 per cent.He stated further that the benefits of the Train 7 project will extend to site civil works on roads, piling, and jetties, 100 percent local procurement of all LV and HV cables, non-cryogenic valves, protective paints and coatings, sacrificial anodes and much other direct procurement from our local manufacturing plants.

The Executive Secretary explained that the target is to assemble over 70 per cent of all non-cryogenic pumps and control valves in-country, while other spin-off opportunities include logistics, equipment leasing, insurance, hotels, office supplies, aviation, haulage and many more. He confirmed that the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva has charged stakeholders connected to the NLNG Train-7 project to fast track actions related to it.

According to him: “The Minister has this project as one of his focus areas to put an end to the drought of FID’s in the oil and gas industry in the last few years.”He added that apart from the job opportunities and the accruable revenues from this multi-billion dollars Train-7 project, the Minister also sees the additional tonnage of LPG to be produced from Train-7 as a key benefit to reduce importation of LPG into the country.

“He is also excited that Train-7 project attracts other upstream gas supply projects required to keep the LNG train busy. The project opens up other development opportunities for some gas fields in the shallow and deep offshore acreages such as HI, HA, HK, and Opoukunou-Tuomo fields,” Wabote stated.

Oil workers

Oil workers under the aegis of Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) have raised the alarm over threats from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) to stop salaries of its members come October 2019.

The threat, according to the unions, was received through a circular with reference number OAGF/IPPIS/93/1/87 in September 2018.The unions, which claimed to had put all implementing agencies of government on notice, also vowed to withdraw their services without any further delay.

In a letter by the unions and addressed to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, recalled a circular by the OAGF for the enrolment of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) that were not on the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) scheme.

The workers, who frowned at enrolling at the payment system noted that due to already existing Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) platform, which is run by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), is already serving a similar purpose. They also hinted on the Presidential Initiative on Continuous Audit (PICA), whose responsibility it is to audit the nominal and payroll of agencies as recently emphasised by the Minister of Finance.

They argued that the IPPIS that resulted to series of meetings, whereby a technical committee was set up by the Ministry of Labour and Employment to assess the union’s concerns regarding the implementation of the IPPIS, was yet to meet for over a year.

According to the oil workers, based on the observation of contradiction and repetition of role from circular, they have directed their members in the effected regulatory agencies not to provide any information concerning their personnel payment and allowances to the Accountant-General’s office for the purpose of IPPIS, until the technical committee meets

“We are also putting all the implementing agencies of government on notice that if our salaries are stopped without clarification of the issues raised, we will be left with no other option than to withdraw our services without any further notice.”

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says it spent N146 billion to support 849,480 wet and dry seasons rice farmers across the country. The CBN Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele, gave the details at a meeting with some state Governors in Abuja on Thursday.

Emefiele said that the bank was working with other stakeholders to wage war against smuggling of rice into the country.

He explained that CBN had financed the construction of rice mills to support food self-sufficiency and security.

He said that Dangote Farms was also constructing five mills; two in Jigawa and one each in Kebbi, Zamfara and Sokoto states.

The CBN governor said that other rice mills funded by the bank included the WACOT and Labana Rice Mills in Kebbi State and Umza Rice Mill in Kano.

According to him, the CBN’s focus will remain on sectors that can create jobs on a mass scale.

He also said that the Bank would also pay closer attention at financing sectors that could help Nigeria to “reduce its burgeoning import bill and conserve much needed foreign exchange”.

“The bank will maintain a keen interest in supporting the creation of an enabling environment to trigger private sector investment.

“Our emphasis will focus on value chain financing in 10 priority commodities. These products have been responsible for a significant share of our country’s food import bill in the last couple of years,” he said.

Emefiele, who commended the Federal Government on border closure to address the issue of smuggling in the country, said that such steps had yielded positive result.

He said some farmers and millers in some parts of the country had complained of lack of patronage before the closure.

“But as soon as the borders were closed, they exhausted all they had in warehouses and did not have any in stock to supply their customers,” Emefiele said.

The Chairman of Governors Forum, Dr Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, thanked Emefiele for the stride recorded in agricultural sector, pointing out that it is now clear that the country is making a headway in ensuring food security.

Fayemi said that agriculture was the fastest way to create jobs for the citizenry.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Governors of Adamawa, Anambra, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Edo, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kebbi, Lagos, Ogun, Sokoto, Katsina and Zamfara States attended the meeting.

Three more Nigerian nationals arrested while illegally crossing into India from Bangladesh via night bus

Three more Nigerian nationals were arrested on Wednesday, September 18, while crossing over to India through Bangladesh in a night bus.

A statement issued on Wednesday, by Meghalaya Police said that the trio, who were travelling in a night super bus from Agartala to Guwahati could not produce any valid documents to support their entry in India from Bangladesh.

Recall that a total of 14 foreign nationals, 12 of whom are from Nigeria, have been arrested in Meghalaya’s East Jaintia Hills district for entering the country illegally via Bangladesh during the last four days. Read here

The police, who have informed Ministry of External Affairs about this, believe there are larger designs behind this sudden illegal immigration of the foreign nationals.
"As far as the investigation was carried out, they have been entering India illegally and they may even be involved in cyber crimes too. As of now, there is no link with drug trafficking but that can’t be ruled out. One of the arrested also has a criminal case in Goa and we are now following up on the case,” said East Jaintia Hills superintendent of police (SP) Vivekanand Singh.

The arrested Nigerian nationals did not enter Meghalaya directly said Singh.
“Of the 14, 13 entered the state through Tripura. They then travelled by road to Silchar and boarded a bus to Guwahati. Most probably, they were moving towards New Delhi, Goa or Mumbai. We suspect the remaining person must have entered from Assam,” the SP added.

The police, who have been on their toes curtailing drug trafficking, detained three foreign nationals on Friday, after they failed to present their passports. After interrogation, they then presented their passports which were hidden inside their shoes. The passports presented had no Indian visa stamp on it. The trio then mentioned that they had flown to Dhaka and had travelled to the bordering areas by road and were later assisted by some people to cross over to India.

After the incident, the police were alerted and they started conducting round the clock checking. The following night, another six were arrested, followed by three others the night after.

According to the police, the arrested persons, aged between 20 and 40 years, were found to be educated and were well-versed in English language. They were booked under Foreigner’s Act.

Meanwhile, SP Vivekanand Singh is in touch with his counterparts in Goa and has received the documents and details about the case of one of the persons with a criminal case for overstaying in Goa.

Sex doll may be the surprising solution
User Avatar Forum: General Discussion

Are love doll your thing? If not, perhaps it is time for you to familiarize yourself with these cuties, which serve to give you love when no one else does. As modern times bring us many great things that we can enjoy, and as people invent more and more things that come to our mind, adult entertainment is not left behind either. Love dolls are designed to help people fulfill their deepest confused sexual desires in a creative and new way so that they can experience what they have never experienced before.

The day of love is upon us and time is running out as you search for the perfect gift for your husband. However, an advanced and realistic sex doll may be the surprising solution to your dilemma. At a glance, many women are worried that this may be the worst gift idea ever. Scratch a little below the surface, and it becomes clear that it could actually be one of the best.

For many people love dolls are a living memory. These balloon-like dolls do not look and feel like a woman. Honestly, it is no surprise that someone with visions of it is a little unsure about modern sex dolls. Luckily, the tech has made a massive impact and they could not be further from these outdated and cruel elements of the past. Sex dolls are very realistic both in look and in touch. In addition, the design level is incredible. In the meantime, you can even choose the height and shape so that your husband has a doll that suits his needs.

If you see them, there is no way you can not find your favorite because of your preferences. Most of them are made up of perfect bodies, like the one you see, if you like hentai, and they are decorated with attributes like imposing big bust and tiny waist. Not only are they different in skin, hair and eye colors, they also wear different types of clothing and it looks like each of them has its own unique personality. There are realistic Japanese and Manga dolls, and each one would be perfect for someone who likes these things.

It's only going to assist you in the long run. That is how you can get the most from Emylia Cream. I'm confused in that I cast off this habitual belief. It was an exciting challenge. How might one person do it? This is a huge asset. That sucks. It is actually no problem as to why Emylia Cream works. Then again, not every Emylia Cream is created equal. That is timeless. I've been tricked. Emylia Cream often keeps the mind ready. In fact, I did an OK job and you learned something relative to Emylia Cream.I feel that was made to order.   FG Seeks Fresh $2.5bn World Bank Loan
User Avatar Forum: Market Place
Posted by: Edoman - 09-20-2019, 10:58 AM - No Replies

The Federal Government and World Bank are in talks for as much as $2.5 billion in a new tranche of concessionary lending to Nigeria, the bank’s Vice President for Africa Hafez Ghanem has said. In the past year Nigeria received $2.4 billion from the World Bank, Ghanem said in an interview with Bloomberg in Abuja on Wednesday.

“We’re talking about a new set of programs of about the same amount, it should be around $2.5 billion,” he said. Faced with revenue shortfalls as the output and price of oil fell in the past five years, President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has increased borrowing to finance government spending, with domestic debt at $55.6 billion and foreign loans at $25.6 billion.

The Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed while giving details of the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Fiscal Strategy Paper said borrowing would be a key component in funding the budget as government cannot drive the required resources to fund the budget without borrowing.

She said the new borrowings are put at N1.605trn for 2019, projected N1.7trn for 2020, N1.6trn for 2021 and N1.3trn for 2020. The borrowings will be 50 percent local and 50 percent foreign she said. Out of the N1.7 trillion to be borrowed in 2020, of this amount, N850 billion will be domestic borrowing while the balance of N850 billion will be from foreign borrowing.

The total fiscal deficits for 2019 is N2.474trn, in 2020 it will reduce to N2.154trn. The deficit to GDP is 1.77 percent in 2019. “Debt service is also increasing. And this is so because we have increased our borrowings in recent years. Our debt servicing has increased from N2.144trn in 2019 to N2.45 in the year 2020,” the minister had stated. To ease the mounting debt burden, Nigeria has sought more credit with low interest and long repayment periods from institutions including the World Bank and the African Development Bank.

“The current economic performance of Nigeria is not enough to reduce poverty,” said Ghanem. “We need to accelerate growth.” The World Bank’s focus in Nigeria is to lift about 100 million Nigerians, half of the population, out of poverty, with special emphasis on women’s education, expanding digital opportunities and solving a power crisis that hobbles economic activities.

“It’s important to resolve the problems of the power sector in Nigeria to bring in more investments”, because you need to bring down the cost of power to make the economy more competitive for the development of industries,” he added. The World Bank is supporting digital transformation in Nigeria because of its potential ability to transform other areas of the economy including industry, agriculture and services, according to Ghanem. “Nigeria has a comparative advantage in that area because of the youth, a majority of the population is young,” he said.

“So if we want to create jobs, we need to invest much more in the digital economy.” Speaking with Daily Trust in Abuja, a former Managing Director of a commercial bank said there is nothing wrong in borrowing if it is done to build infrastructure and do other necessary things in the country.

The former MD who didn’t want to be quoted however advised the FG not to squander the money on jamborees or things that would yield no benefits to Nigerians.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

FRIDAY, 20TH SEPTEMBER.

UNDERSTAND YOUR PURPOSE

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations (Jeremiah 1:5).

Being born again, there’s a definite place for you that nobody else occupies. You don’t have a duplicate. Nobody was ever like you; no one is like you today, and no one will ever be like you. There’s a definite purpose for your life, and when your purpose is clear, everything else lines up for you.

Have you discovered why God created you? You may say, “He created all of us to serve Him; to worship Him and be in fellowship with Him.” All of that is nice, but why did He create YOU? It’s about YOU.

I discovered my purpose very early in life. As a teenager, I wrote in my diary, “I was born as an answer to the cry of millions.” My purpose was clear; I knew what to live for, and I made up my mind to be God’s best for me, because I’m the only one of me that He has Sadly, many live and grow old without ever knowing the reason they came. Nothing could be more miserable than that! There’s no life more empty and frustrating than to live without a purpose.

You’re not an accident in this world. God didn’t bring you into this world to merely “complete the square.” Consider the fact that there’re over 7 billion people on the face of the earth, but no two fingerprints are alike.

You’re unique, and so is your destiny in Christ. Whatever God destined you to do, nobody can do it exactly like you. Nobody can say what He wants you to say the exact way you’d say it. Nobody can get your kind of results.

Therefore, get excited about your uniqueness. Fulfil your purpose. Be what God made you to be. He planned before the foundation of the world that you’d serve Him and live for Him. Through you, His righteousness would be established in the earth, and in the hearts of men. Glory to His Name forever!

CONFESSION

I’m filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. My life is for the glory of God, and I’m pleasing Him in all things, doing the good works which He prearranged ahead of time. I’m God’s vessel of righteousness, and through me, His righteousness is established in the earth and in the hearts of men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

#TALKINGSESSION

20TH SEPTEMBER.

KINDLY SAY THESE WORDS OUT LOUD

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for enlightening me through Your Word, to walk on the path of life. Your Word causes me to think, talk, and act right. Your Word enriches me with the right mental attitude to situations and interpretations of those situations.

I have the mind-set of the righteous; therefore, I display excellence, and triumph always in all things. I am powered by the Spirit through the Word today as I speak in other tongues; I am built up from within like an edifice, charged with divine fire-power! My spirit is open to receive from You, as You lead me to know and walk in Your perfect will. I thank You for teaching me about the power of my words.

Through Your Word, and by Your Spirit, I am culturing my tongue to speak only faith-filled words! No unwholesome communication is allowed to proceed from my mouth. I speak only life-giving words that are consistent with Your plans and purposes for my life, and I declare that my future is secure in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God bless you

JACKSONVILLE http://www.packerscheapshoponline.com/ch...jr.-jersey , Fla. (AP) — The NFL’s loudest trash talker has little to say after consecutive lopsided losses.Jacksonville Jaguars All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey delivered a repeat performance Thursday from his postgame news conference that followed a 40-7 loss to Dallas four days earlier.Ramsey drew sharp criticism for offering short answers in the locker room after the 33-point drubbing, mostly because he’s been so vocal — and critical — of fellow NFL players this year. He was equally succinct during his weekly media session in advance of Sunday’s game against Houston.Q: Where is the confidence level this week on defense? Still have confidence you guys can bounce back?A: We’ll see.Q: What are your thoughts about going up against Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins?A: Same as usual.Q: What’s that?A: Same as it’s always been. My past two years, y’all have asked me the same question. Well, last year y’all asked me. Next question.Q: Is Hopkins one of the guys you like going up against?A: Yeah.Q: Why?A: Uh, just a good matchup.Q: You guys have always had confidence and now it’s, ‘We’ll see’. Why such a change?A: We’ve still got confidence, but we’re going to see how the game goes.Q: What did you see from quarterback Deshaun Watson in the opener last year and on tape this year?A: Really good.Ramsey spoke for a little more than a minute Thursday. His media session after the loss to the Cowboys was a few seconds longer.Neither compared to the verbose jabs Ramsey has taken against Kansas City “return specialist” Tyreek Hill and New England cornerback Stephon Gilmore in recent weeks. The third-year player and fifth overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft also ripped several NFL quarterbacks in an interview with GQ magazine this summer.Ramsey called Buffalo Bills rookie Josh Allen “trash” and said Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan was “overrated.” Baltimore’s Joe Flacco http://www.ravensauthorizedshops.com/aut...ill-jersey , Indianapolis’ Andrew Luck and Eli Manning of the New York Giants also got less-than-stellar reviews. Ramsey called Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger “decent at best.”Ramsey also praised several QBs, including Watson.A few weeks later, Ramsey upset a number of hockey players and their fans by saying he could play in the NHL despite having never skated. The Tennessee native has 21 tackles and two pass breakups this season, part of a defense that allowed 802 yards, 63 points and 49 first downs in consecutive road losses to Kansas City and Dallas. There are a number of words you could use to describe Maroon 5’s halftime show performance: Empty. Boring. Basic. Sleepy. Skippable. Unfulfilling. Unnecessary. And those who came to help save the day didn’t do their jobs: If you blinked you would have missed that Travis Scott and Big Boi performed. Even the gospel choir singer was a struggle — clearly they let the wrong one sing lead Sunday.Adam Levine and friends kicked off the performance as fireworks burst from a stage designed like the letter “M,” which should have stood for “magic,” because they needed some.It started off on the right note Ben Powers Jersey , actually. “Harder to Breathe,” the band’s amazing debut rock song, was rousing as fire blasts shot from the sides of the stage. Levine grabbed his guitar for “This Love,” while other bandmates also strummed away.It was all going well until a joke was uttered: “A true musical genius who needs no introduction.”That’s when Scott rocketed to the stage. He tried to rap — most of it was bleeped out — in a circle of fire, but his inclusion felt more like an interruption. Scott performed his No. 1 hit, “Sickomode,” and Levine awkwardly danced beside him http://www.ravensauthorizedshops.com/aut...all-jersey , which looked almost as bad as Katy Perry dancing next to Missy Elliott at Super Bowl 49.But there was one Scott highlight: He fell backward into the audience and faded away. The rest of the performance went downhill like Scott’s body did. Maroon 5 performed the very terrible hit “Girls Like You,” making the already bad song sound worse by mixing in a gospel choir, led by a singer whose voice would make you walk out of church (sorry, girl). Each transition during the halftime show didn’t feel smooth, and Big Boi appearing on top of a car in a thick mink coat added to the bizarreness of the night. When he performed “The Way You Move,” it just made you wonder what Andre 3000 was doing at the moment. Watching? Sleeping? Probably sleeping while watching. You probably had similar thoughts when Scott was onstage and Drake’s vocals played at the beginning of “Sickomode” — wishing the show had a real superstar like Drizzy to give an epic performance. Those thoughts lingered again when Levine sang “Moves Like Jagger.” WHERE IS MICK JAGGER RIGHT NOW AND CAN HE PERFORM? Any of the Stones would do, actually.Who probably should have headlined the halftime show? Gladys Knight. She scored a touchdown with her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner”: The legend’s voice shined brightly as she hit all the right notes ahead of the big game between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams.R&B sister duo Chloe x Halle were also in top-notch form: They harmonized like a veteran girl group as they sang “America the Beautiful” at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The group Trace McSorley Jersey , nominated for two Grammys at next week’s show including best new artist, are signed to Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment.Noise and controversy surrounded this year’s Super Bowl since some have boycotted the NFL over treatment of Colin Kaepernick, the former quarterback who protested racial injustice by kneeling during the national anthem. Some performers declined participation in the Super Bowl as a result.

The Antonio Brown trade isn’t the only deal involving the Raiders set to become official on Wednesday afternoon.ESPN reports that the Raiders have agreed to trade guard Kelechi Osemele to the Jets. No word on the compensation going back to the Raiders was immediately available. They are set to give up third- and fifth-round picks in the deal for Brown.Offensive line help was one area the Jets were expected to address this offseason and Osemele gives them an experienced piece on the interior. Last year’s left guard James Carpenter is set to be a free agent and Osemele will likely slot into his spot this year. The team re-signed center Jonotthan Harrison this weekend http://www.pantherscheapshop.com/cheap-a...tle-jersey , but have three other veterans set for free agency so more moves are likely coming.Osemele is headed into the fourth year of the five-year deal he signed in Oakland in 2016. He’s set to make $9.7 million with a $500,000 workout bonus that adds up to a $10.2 million cap hit. No dead money will remain on the Raiders’ cap once the deal becomes official.: Jerry McDonald of the Bay Area News Group reports the Jets will send a fifth-round pick to Oakland and that the Raiders will send a sixth-rounder to the Jets. The pick is reportedly the one they acquired from the Bears in the Khalil Mack trade last year. Only the NFL could react to a controversy that calls into question the legitimacy of a Super Bowl participant by implementing a fix that wouldn’t have avoided the controversy. That’s what the Competition Committee has done, by recommending an expansion of replay to “include all fouls for pass interference, roughing the passer, and unnecessary contact against a player who is in a defenseless posture.” The proposal won’t apply where a foul isn’t called Will Grier Jersey , meaning that replay review won’t be available when the officiating crew fails to call pass interference or unnecessary roughness against a defenseless receiver.Meaning that replay review wouldn’t have been available in the Rams-Saints NFC Championship, when Rams defensive back Nickell Robey-Coleman wiped out Saints receiver Tommylee Lewis. The Competition Committee also has not proposed an AAF-style Sky Judge, which would make available visual evidence part of the first look, not part of the replay process. If available and properly implemented, that would have allowed for the on-field failure of the officiating crew to be rectified in real time. There’s still hope. The people who own the teams http://www.pantherscheapshop.com/cheap-a...ler-jersey , and thus own the league, can reject the failure of the Competition Committee to fix the situation, and they can implement a rule that properly addresses the situation. They need to; for all the excuse-making and hand-wringing over “unintended consequences,” the Competition Committee’s proposal could tend to cause more flags to be thrown, since the protection afforded by this proposal becomes available only when penalties have been called. So the ball is in your court Jordan Scarlett Jersey , owners. The Competition Committee has failed. Let’s see if you’ll do what should have been done in the NFC title game and overturn the ruling on the field.

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, on Thursday, disclosed that issues concerning the Biafran people were before the various arms and agencies of the United Nations, adding that Biafra’s case would no longer be swept under the carpet.
The [url=https://dailypost.ng/2019/09/15/biafra-nnamdi-kanu-meets-un-officials-tuesday/]IPOB leader had led a delegation to a series of meetings with various UN agencies and officials
at Geneva where he presented Biafra’s plight on Tuesday.

Emma Powerful, the IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, in a statement on Thursday, said Kanu’s emergence from the meeting was met with chants of the eulogy by a congregation of Biafrans.
Powerful disclosed that Kanu demanded urgent action against the numerous rights abuses inflicted daily upon Biafra agitators by the government of the day and the need to support the undeniable right of Biafrans to self-determination as enshrined in law, statute and various UN conventions.
The statement added, “Every issue concerning our people is now before the various arms and agencies of the United Nations. Our case will no longer be ignored.

“The case of RUGA settlement was also raised and the august body was left in doubt that Biafrans will never allow Fulani terror settlements in Biafraland.
“Incessant killing of Biafrans in their own land by terrorist Fulani herdsmen, extortion and killing of Biafran motorcyclists and commercial drivers by the Nigerian army and police over refusal to give N50 bribery.”
It added that Kanu was accompanied by his deputy, Mazi Uche Mefor, Head of Directorate of State, Mazi Chika Edoziem and other top echelons of the struggle.

The Biafran leader raised the continued illegal detention of Omoleye Sowore, the relentless persecution of the members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria led by Sheikh El-Zakzaky, among other issues.

Former NFL quarterback Wade Wilson http://www.cardinalsauthorizedshops.com/...len-jersey , who spent 19 years in the league and many thereafter as a coach, has died. He was 60.The Dallas Cowboys have announced the passing of Wilson. An eighth-round pick of the Vikings in 1981, Wilson spent eleven years in Minnesota, one with the Falcons, two with the Saints Gary Jennings Jr. Jersey , three with the Cowboys, and two with the Raiders. In his first year after retiring, Wilson became the quarterbacks coach in Dallas, holding the spot for three years. He then took the same job in Chicago for three years, before returning to that role with the Cowboys for eleven straight seasons.Wilson won a Super Bowl ring as Troy Aikman’s backup in 1995. Seven years before that Phil Haynes Jersey , Wilson led the Vikings to upset wins over the Saints and 49ers in the playoffs, before narrowly losing to Washington in the NFC title game.We extend our condolences to Wilson’s family, friends, teammates, and colleagues. The first full week of 2019 preseason games have been played Ugo Amadi Jersey , and the 16 Week One contests included 16 replay reviews of calls and non-calls of offensive and defensive pass interference.Based on a review of the official NFL game books for the games played on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, 14 replay reviews happened via coach’s challenge and two were initiated by the replay official. Of the 14 challenges, only one was overturned; in the Jets-Giants game Dwayne Haskins Jersey , a 33-yard penalty was imposed on the Giants after Jets coach Adam Gase challenged a non-call of defensive pass interference. The two challeneges initiated by the replay official happened in the same quarter of the same game (Bengals-Chiefs), when replay official Darryl Lewis called for a review of potential defensive pass interference right after the two-minute warning (the non-call was correctly overturned) and potential offensive pass interference roughly a minute later (the non-call was upheld, even though it shouldn’t have been). Two of the challenges related to offensive pass interference, and 12 involved defensive pass interference. With 48 preseason games still to be played, more challenges will be needed in order to help the league office better understand the nuances D.K. Metcalf Jersey , realities, and potential unintended consequences of the new replay procedure before commencing the games that count. The league should ask coaches to throw flags more often over the next three weeks. It already should be clear that the availability of replay review will have a significant potential impact on the game, with senior V.P. of officiating Al Riveron having the power to impose massive changes in field position.

Dr. Chidia Maduekwe, the Managing Director of Nigeria Film Corporation and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has berated the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), over its rejection of the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, which dismissed the suit filed by PDP candidate in the last 2019 general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku and the PDP were challenging the declaration of Muhammadu Buhari by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) as winner of the February 23 presidential poll.

DAILY POST reported earlier that the[url=https://dailypost.ng/2019/09/11/breaking-presidential-tribunal-upholds-buharis-election-dismisses-pdp-petitions-entirety/] Justice Mohammed Garba,-led Tribunal dismissed Atiku and PDP petition in its entirety.

The tribunal ruled that electronic transfer of results, which was the crux of the opposition’s petition did not take place at any level.

But, Maduekwe, in an interview with newsmen while reacting on Thursday, opined that the dismissal of Atiku’s petition by the tribunal has further saved Nigeria from total collapse which the PDP 16 years misrule laid the foundation for.

The APC chieftain told the opposition party to forget returning to power, as the Nigeria people are faring much better in the current APC-led federal government’s policies, which anchored on empowering the poor, improving the nation’s economy and security apparatuses.

Maduekwe pointed out that Atiku Abubakar has lawful right to appeal the judgment of the Presidential tribunal, boasting that the purported appeal set to file by the opposition PDP will end unfruitful.

According to him, “I must commend the Presidential tribunal members for this judgment. The verdict is a victory to our the nation’s democracy and Nigeria people. As you have seen, the tribunal judgment touched all reliefs sought by Atiku and party. It dismissed it in entirety.

“The court equally addressed the issue of INEC Server and absolved the electoral umpire(INEC). It also looked into claims of inflation of election results, over-voting and many more, which he(Atiku) alleged in his petition. Nigerians voted for Buhari, because of his tremendous policies that have touched many lives of the Nigeria masses positively.

“So, Atiku has right to appeal. But, I will advise him to join hands with President Buhari to complement the tremendous efforts of the APC-led federal government to take Nigeria to the Next Level of development.

“Let me also submit that PDP can never come to power again. The party disappointed Nigerians. Nigerians have rejected them. PDP failed in all facets of the nation’s economy. They will never and cannot be allowed again by Nigeria people to return power.

“Finally, l congratulate President Buhari over his victory at the Presidential tribunal. The judgment showed the confidence Nigerians have in Buhari-led administration. Because, he believed in rule of law.”

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija housemates on Friday engaged in a serious argument.
It all started after Diane left the Veto power box at the arena games after Nigerian music legend, Tuface Idibia performed for the housemates.

Biggie had on Monday given the housemates a red box to protect throughout the week.
He warned that housemates will serve punishment if the red box is missing.
But Diane, who was in charge of the box on Friday left it behind at the arena, stirring reactions from housemates, with Tacha lashed out at her.

Tacha told Diane: “You are stupid for leaving that box, don’t take alcohol if you cannot handle it.
“Don’t talk back at me, you cannot approach me outside this place just so you know.”

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly split after two years of marriage and one child

Kenya Moore, 48, and Marc Daly, 49, have called it quits after being married for two years.

The couple, who share a 10-month-old daughter named Brooklyn Doris Daly, got married back in June 2017 on a beach in St. Lucia. Sadly, the marriage has come to an end only weeks before their daughter's first birthday.

The Bravo star announced her split from her husband on Thursday, September 19.

She told US Weekly: "It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly.

"Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward."

Marc Daily also confirmed the split in a statement, saying: "I have come to the difficult decision to separate from Kenya at this time. Our daughter has two parents that love her very much and in her best interests, this situation should remain as private as possible. I cherish our family’s good times together and will continue to co-parent in a loving way. Rumors, innuendo or false accusations only serve to hurt our family and will be addressed through counsel as the law permits. Please respect our privacy during this challenging period."

This revelation comes as a surprise because Moore called Daly the "love of my life" during the Monday, September 16, episode of The Tamron Hall Show, where they both spoke about their IVF journey.

During the show which aired earlier this week, the couple appeared to be in good spirits as they opened up about their journey to welcoming their daughter via IVF.

"It’s incredibly challenging because the success rate for these these treatments are very low," Daly said. "There’s expectations, but you also have to be prepared for disappointed. So just being there, being supportive, being hopeful, being positive and just being behind her was what it’s all about."

Moore and Daly were also together as recently as Tuesday night, when they attended a benefit reception he hosted in honor of the Black Man Lab at the Wimbish House in Atlanta.

says Nigerians live in fear

Former Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Bisi Akande, says every Nigerian lives in fear, warning that a nation that remains like this may celebrate its 60th independence anniversary but will never celebrate 100 years.

Speaking yesterday in Lagos during the public presentation of a book, “The Bisi Akande Phenomenon?” edited by Lai Olurode and Dhikhrullah Yagboyaju, he said Nigeria was most enjoyable 50 years ago. The former governor of Osun State stressed that it was high time Nigeria examined its laws which he noted were “military decree-based”. He said he believed in restructuring as being advocated in some quarters but restructuring is difficult in Nigeria.

“The phenomenon of the country must be examined among three things and the first is our education. It seems to me that our education is colonial. It ends in literacy without numeracy,” he suggested. He said education of Nigerians in every community must be science-based to advance the technological base of the community. He said, “Secondly, I think our laws are military decree based and these military decree based laws cannot be used to sustain democracy. As long as we use these military decree based laws, our democracy will never prosper.

“Thirdly, our religions are mostly imported and because of that, we seem neither to be good Christians, good Muslims or good idolists. We merely live in fear and when there are problems, we have no laboratories to go, so we retire to churches and mosques for vigils. “A country that remains like this may celebrate its 60th independence anniversary but will never celebrate 100 years.

I think until all these three are looked at and addressed, or let me use the word; restructured – I believe in all these ethnic and political restructuring, but they are difficult to restructure.”
