Quote:By Muritala Ayinla 

Lagos State government yesterday raised the alarm over the increasing cases of housewives who now batter their husbands. The Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem, who said this while briefing journalists on the score card of his ministry in the last one year, said no fewer than 138 of such cases were reported to the agency in charge of domestic violence.

Kazeem also said that the state Mobile courts arraigned 8,380 offenders for flouting the Road Traffic Law which included parking on walkways and yellow lines, use of BRT corridor, commuters and conductors hanging on the tailboards of moving vehicles, driving against traffic, etc.

The commissioner said that a total number of 1,771 cases were reported during the period under review while violence against men had increased to 38. He said: “Ministry has noted an increase in report of domestic abuse against men.

To date, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) has received a total number of 138 cases in this regard. Overall, a total number of 1,771 cases were reported during the period under review.”

In the year under review, the commissioner added that the efficiency of the Mobile Court had been further acknowledged through collaboration with the police, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Lagos State Transport Management Agency (LASTMA) and others upon requests by these institutions.

He added: “In comparison with the previous year’s figure of 4,426 offenders who were arraigned before the court, 8,380 offenders were arraigned before the court in the year under review for offences under the Road Traffic Law which include parking on walkway and yellow lines, use of BRT corridor, commuters and conductors hanging on the tailboards of moving vehicles, driving against traffic etc.”

The Attorney General said government received and treated 11,451 cases through the Special Task Force Against Land Grabbers, DSVRT and the Special Offences (Mobile) Court in the last one year.

He said government also received 316 inquiries through the recently unveiled first stateowned DNA and Forensic Centre with 71 active cases currently ongoing bordering on homicide, rape, toxicology, child trafficking, serology, among others.

According to Kazeem, the Anti-Land Grabbers Task Force designed by the present administration to fight the menace of forceful take-over of properties, received 1,300 petitions out of which 855 were concluded and 530 currently at various stages of resolution.

He added: “In the period under review, over 35 arrests of suspected notorious land grabbers were effected while 26 criminal prosecution cases against suspected land grabbers are presently ongoing.”

'We Are Not Lazy,' Nigerian Youths Slam President Buhari On Social Media - CNN

CNN Mocks Buhari Calling Nigerian Youths Lazy and Illiterates.-

Quote:Lagos, Nigeria (CNN) — Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari is facing a backlash on social media following remarks he made about the nation's youth at a Commonwealth event in London.
President Buhari was asked a question after a keynote speech at the event on Wednesday, his aide said.
In his reply, the president said: "We have a very young population. More than 60% of the population is below the age of 30. A lot of them haven't been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria has been an oil-producing country, therefore they should sit and do nothing and get housing, healthcare, education free."
Many Nigerians inferred from the comments that he was branding the nation's youth as lazy.

Using the hashtag #LazyNigerianYouth on social media, Nigerians expressed their anger with the comments, which many said did not reflect the entrepreneurial drive of young people in the country.
Young people in Nigeria face chronic unemployment and underemployment, so the president's remarks have hit a raw nerve in a country where many are struggling in a tough economic climate.

Some said Buhari, 75, missed an opportunity during the panel to sell the potential of Nigeria's human capital and largely young demographic to an overseas audience.

"It was (a) pure undiluted gaffe especially with a foreign audience you are telling to come and invest in your country," Uche Enechi said in a Facebook comment. "Normally, a president will say, 'come and invest here because we have a youthful, skilled and hardworking labor force that you need, plus a secure and business friendly environment.' He just said the opposite."

Buhari's media aide, Femi Adesina said the president's remarks were misinterpreted to mean he had taken "all Nigerian youths to the cleaners."

In a statement, Adesina said: "... elementary English recognises a wide gulf between 'a lot of' and the word 'all.' How can 'a lot of them," suddenly transmogrify to mean 'all of them?' Mischievous and unconscionable!"
"There is no way President Buhari, father of the Nigerian nation in every sense of the word, who equally has biological children of his own in the youth age bracket, pass a vote of no confidence on all youths. It can only exist in the imagination of those who play what the president has described as 'irresponsible politics'," Adesina added in the statement.
Others seized the opportunity to highlight how they are forced to work two or three jobs to make ends meet.

Lakinbofa Goodluck, a PR consultant and doctoral student at a Nigerian university, says he needs to have several jobs to pay his bills.
"It's good to have multiple streams of income," he said. "But why would you want to be spreading energy across five different streams if there's one stream that provides everything you need?"
"One has to do other things to be able to pay his bills and save some money."

The continent's largest economy is moving out of a recession caused by tanking oil prices but Nigeria is still one of the most dangerous places to give birth and the country's very young face chronic malnutrition, according to research by the Gates Foundation.
Although the country recently moved up 14 places on the World Bank's ease of doing business ranking, most of its businesses remain in the informal sector where there is little help and loans are hard to come by.

President Buhari is seeking for re-election next year and will now face a tough battle to get the support of the nation's young people, who voted overwhelmingly for him at the last election.
Nigeria, like most of the continent, has a huge youth bulge with 60% of Nigeria's 180 million population aged under 30, according to President Buhari.

Buhari's political opponents have been quick to capitalize on the backlash against the president.
The governor of Ekiti State in southwest Nigeria, Ayodele Fayose, urged the nation's youth to vote Buhari out next year.
"Contrary to the morale-killing comment of the president, Nigerian youths are hardworking, intelligent and enterprising," he said in a statement.
"Their future was mortgaged by past leaders like President Buhari, who had everything at their beck and call as youths. I imagine the youths of today having half of the opportunities available in the 1950s and 1960s."
Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president in the country and a wealthy businessman who is expected to run against Buhari in the 2019 elections, tweeted his support for young people, saying they formed the majority of his workforce.
"I will never refer to Nigeria's youth as people who sit and do nothing. They are hardworking. I should know, I have thousands of youths working for me all over the country who have been the backbone to our success," he said in a tweet.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (FREE APRIL PDF => http://bit.ly/2cuJG6M

*THE GOOD WORK CONTINUES .*

Saturday, April 21st .
Pastor Chris

_*Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).*_

When you received the Holy Spirit to live in you, He began His ministry in you. He isn’t nestling quietly in a corner inside you; He’s at work in you. The Bible says Christ Jesus gave Himself for us, that He might purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works (Titus 2:14). What are good works? They’re works of faith; works of righteousness wrought through you by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The passion and zeal in you for good works are the result of His work in your life. He’s the One making you energetic for good works. The Bible says, _*“For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us...”*_ (Ephesians 2:10 AMPC).

Now you can understand why Paul said, _*“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”*_ That means the good work continues; you’ll always be effective and fruitful in all you do, because of the greater One at work in you.

Someone might say, “I know I’m doing very well now, but who knows what’ll happen tomorrow; I might just not do so well.” Relax! He told us when His work in you will end. It’s not next week or in two years’ time; it’s until the day of Jesus Christ; until the rapture of the Church. So you see, you’ll keep making progress; you’ll always win. Glory to God!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for your precious Holy Spirit, who lives in me, and is at work in me, causing me to will and to do of your good pleasure. I win always; I’m persistently fruitful and productive, bearing fruits of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *John 14:16-17* And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. *||*

*||* *Ephesians 2:10* For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. *||*

*||* *1 John 4:4* Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. *||*

Don’t Retire, Jose Mourinho Tells Arsene Wenger
[Image: Mourinho-and-Wenger.jpg]
[b]Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has told Arsene Wenger not to retire from management after the Frenchman announced his decision to step down from Arsenal.

Arsenal sent shockwaves through English football this morning when the Gunners released a brief statement announcing that Wenger was to leave the club after 22 years at the end of the season.

Mourinho and Wenger have clashed on a number of occasions since the Portuguese moved to England in 2004 and the Frenchman’s beaten the self-proclaimed Special One just once in competitive matches in the last 14 years.

However, Mourinho praised Wenger for his work at Arsenal and said he hopes the Frenchman continues management elsewhere.

“If he’s happy i’m happy. If he’s sad, I’m sad,” said Mourinho.

“I always wish the best for my opponents. I always wish the best so that’s the point – if he’s happy with the decision he made, if he looks forward to the next chapter of his career then i’m happy for him.

“I know what it means to win three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups but not just that. What he did in Japan, France, to the French national team, what he gave to Arsenal even without a period of Premier League titles, the transition from the [old] stadium. ‘Everything he did we know. If he’s happy with the decision I’m really happy. I hope he doesn’t retire from football.”

Wenger steps down from Arsenal having won 10 trophies in 21 seasons at the club, including three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups. The Gunners take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on the 29th April but their focus will be on the semi-finals of the Europa League with both legs sandwiched between their trip to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils take on Tottenham in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday and Mourinho’s believes Spurs do not have an advantage in that the game will be played in north-west London.

Lazy Nigerian youths: ‘Pres. Buhari will know if we are jobless and lazy in 2019’ – Arewa youths

The President of Arewa Youths also disclosed that Adesina’s attempt at clarification does not make any difference, adding that since Buhari’s comment became public knowledge, he has been getting calls from youths across the north
Just like every other Nigerian, Arewa Youths have also reacted to the statement linked to President Buhari, in which he said ‘a lot of young persons in the country prefer to sit without working, waiting for oil money to be handed to them’.
[Image: Pres.-Buhari-will-know-if-we-are-jobless...82x410.jpg]

In a chat with Daily Post, the President of the Northern Youth group, Yerima Shettima who said the statement is an insult on all Nigerian youths, further stated that are biding their time till 2019 to let the President Buhari know whether they are actually jobless and lazy.
The President of Arewa Youths also disclosed that Adesina’s attempt at clarification does not make any difference, adding that since Buhari’s comment became public knowledge, he has been getting calls from youths across the north, expressing anger over the comment from the Nigerian leader. According to him,  it was regrettable that the President would speak so of younger Nigerians who put their lives on the line to install the Buhari government.

“From the moment that statement was out, there have been a lot of complaints and grumbles from various people from my place, and they kept calling. The complaints were too much that I was compelled to issue a statement.
“Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have said anything because I am not surprised to see that kind of statement because the government does not believe in the Nigerian youths from inception.“If you look at the arrangement, the appointment, and how the government relates with the youths of this country, you will see that they do not have respect for the Nigerian youths despite the contributions of the youths. Don’t forget that the youths put their lives on the line to fight against the previous government but when it comes to sharing the goodies of government, the youths are nowhere to be found.
“We are completely disappointed in Buhari and we will never make this mistake again,” Yerima said.

Hisbah, a Sharia law enforcement agency in Jigawa, has recorded some success in ridding alcohol drinks from the state. The task force had earlier prohibited the consumption of beer in all parts of the state as the commandant said that they would continue to fight against immoral acts, including consumption of alcohol across the state.

Recently some guests house and alcohol joints were raided by the Sharia police along with others - with many drinks confiscated in the process.

The owners/managers of the joints were also arrested for defaulting.

Two Half-Nude Ladies Beat Me Mercilessly In My Boyfriend's House
User Avatar Forum: Romance
Posted by: Edoman - 04-21-2018, 12:13 AM - No Replies

A Nigerian lady who lives in Port Harcourt, Rivers state has revealed how she fought with two girls over her ex fiancée after seeing them in his house when she paid a visit.

Read the lengthy piece shared by Ada Uchenna on Facebook;

So I fought with two girls over my ex fiancée

Yes, you heard me right. Some of the things you think you cannot do, wait till ara ahụ akpọrọ lọvụ ka ọ gba gị... Then you'll know for sure your limit and self control capacity.

All through my teenage, early adult life, relationships were something I never gave thoughts to. I loved once and I knew how emotionally messy I can be when I love. Anyway that was then, when I thought that love is all about emotions and how I feel. (note, love have little or nothing to do with emotions. It is a deliberate act).

When I was writing my junior waec, a boy desperately fell in love with me. Pure unadulterated love. He asked for nothing in return. He fought my battles, coached me, built a solid foundation from which I was able to note genuine love from afar. He made me realize that a man can wait for you if he truly sees a future with you. That any man that asks you for sex in a place of proving how much you love him is a fraud. Kai, Igwebuike taught me plenty things oo. I owe him a lot but yadiba.

So, when Igwe's parents refused us from being together because I had no father, I decided to lock my heart and face my studies. During these period, I met good, bad and the ugly men. Some I liked, some I just wanted their money, while some even wanted sex with. Well, university came and went. By now I've had many suitors, some I wanted to marry but they could not deal with my strong personality, some I didn't want to marry but was almost pushed to and some I had mixed feelings for.

Immediately a girl is about 25, society begins to count years for her like life depends on getting married and breeding children.

Just like each of us, I wanted to be called Mrs sombori, ehen nụ. Ka akpọm nwunye mmadụ. Fortunately I met and passed 25 without getting married. So, in 2016 I met this my Ex. He was a sweet boy. A very caring handsome young dude bubbling with big dreams which I wanted to be a part of. His major weakness is that he is a Public P3nis. He swayed me off my feet that within 3 months I already said yes to his proposal. I left town for a few months job training, just to come back to lots of drama.

Initially when we started, I told him I am team no Sex before proper marriage, he thought he would use the engagement to get in between my legs, unfortunately it didn't work for him. So we started having some petty arguments. During one of the arguments I threw his ring back at him and called it over. The next day, when I was stable, I went to his house, only to meet two girls half Unclad. I didn't even say a word. I went to kitchen to prepare food, after which I took my bath, wore his shirt and came to the living room. By now it was already night and the girls were not even shaking body to go. I politely asked them to go that I have some things to discuss with my man and it is getting late. That they can come back next day to continue their gist.

Before I knew what was happening... These two young ladies descended on me, ha tirim don't be silly. Ha kụrụ mụ ihe ka nwatakịrị. They made me understood that my Ex is not yet legally married to me and so they have equal rights as me to be in his house.

When these ladies where pounding me like Akpụ, my supposed love of my life was doing absolutely nothing. He was forced to act when neighbors came and knocked so as to separate us. By then, ụmụ ọgbanje a ejirilam gwọọ abacha.

Two days later, one of the girls that fought me, one of if the Girls that my ex claimed he has nothing to do with her packed into his house.

Well, he was f*cking her in the night and was begging me in the day to not give up on him. To accept him back. Mana obi gbawaram. I love extremely and I hate Extremely too. I don't have a middle ground for love and hate. It's either I love you or not.

Well, that was how it ended sha.

Why did I tell you this story? I made a post yesterday stating that women are not supposed to fight other women over their men. Many women concurred and stated vehemently how they can never stoop so low. Mana Kam gwa unu eziokwu, you will never know what you can do until you are exposed to a situation.

Women that fight other women because of their men are not entirely bad or wrong. If you are to be in their shoes, trust me you may do worst. Most times it is out of anger and jealous. This is why emotional maturity is required for you before you think of getting involved in a relationship or even marriage. For instance, the guy I am currently banging, if he eventually thinks he wants to cheat, it is his loss. I have plenty things outlined for me to achieve other than dying for a less deserving public p*nis. But eventually if I let it go, then mind you, I too will be strafing other d*cks... Whether intentionally or not. So if he cannot taste the food he serves, he better not cook it.

Ladies, it is true we love and trust even those who do not deserve us, please no man is worth your fight. Even your husband. If he loved you, he will put in efforts to avoid falling into temptation of cheating on you. Do not be carried away with the lies that men can cheat and still love their wives. It is a big lie. Stop suffering the emotional abuse. If you cannot cheat back, please use the exit door instead of fighting your fellow woman over your wayward husband.

By the way, I support the law of an eye for an eye, if he cheats with a Girl and you don't want to leave, cheat back with a better d*ck. Cheating is not gender specific. I can supply you as many d*cks as you want. That you cheated on him does not mean you are a bad mother or an irresponsible wife.

Quote:It is a thing of joy that more people are becoming politically aware in Nigeria, but it is sad a lot of these awareness has created a huge number of political commentators due to the ineffectiveness and incompetence of the Government. Political and economic blunders are been committed daily by the government that seem to be more comfortable speaking about and against its citizens outside the country than within. Effective communication is key to building a better relationship between the Government and its people. When a Government fails or try to shut down the voice of its citizens or try hard to justify its constant mistake, it becomes a big problem.
Let's look at the President's recent utterance at the detriment of the highest percentage of the country's population on who's votes he rode to power. While the outrage continues on his choice of words in describing, generalizing and downplaying the efforts of this group that majority rose from the inepititude of his generation to create a better environment for themselves despite the suffocation of several government policies is little compare to the lack of comprehension of the President on the questions asked him.
How do we justify the fact that the President derailed from the question asked him to shutting down potential investments opportunity that could benefit the willing and available percentage of this population? How do you even begin to think that the quest for better or free education, good healthcare and housing, a sense of entitlement? If you are one of those who is trying to justify his blunder, you need psychiatric evaluation.
It speaks some much on the stupidity of the older generations and those that have ruled, governed and are governing us that a lot of your suppose human resources are not educated and should be a thing of same coming from the President of the country. I do hope that the lack of education among the citizens that many of them have used as an easy ride to power would end some day soon so we can a better and more effective people in power.
Some of the defenders of foolishness even try to defend it with he didn't say lazy when you can easily google and search for what, "sit down

Supreme Court Voids Mobil’s Sack Of 860 Nigerian Staff, 18 Years After
User Avatar Forum: Judiciary

Orders their immediate re-engagement, payment of outstanding salaries, allowances

Quote:Posted By: Eric Ikhilae,

The Supreme Court has voided the sack by Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited of about 860 Nigerians employed on or before the year 2000 as security officers, but named by the company Supernumerary Police officers (SPY).

The Supreme Court, in a unanimous judgment of five justices, held that it was illogical and without legal backing for Mobil to have employed the Nigerians and sought to off-load them to the Nigeria Police through the back door.

The judgement was on an appeal marked:SC/33/2010 filed by Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited against the 2009 Court of Appeal judgment which upheld the Nigerian workers’ claim to being employees of the oil giant.

The Supreme Court, in the lead judgment by Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour, but read Friday by Justice John Okoro, upheld the earlier Court of Appeal’s decision in the case, which agreed that the Nigerians, led by Okon Johnson, were and are still Mobil’s staff and should be accorded all benefits.

The Court of Appeal also ordered Mobil to pay the Nigerian staff all oustanding allowances and salaries from when they were purportedly variously disengaged.

While summarising the lead judgment, Justice Okoro said: “the summary of the facts is that the 1st to 15 respondents were employed by the appellants as Supernumerary Police officers (SPY) and issued with appointment letters.

“Thereafter, it (appellants) tried to off-load them (the 1st to 15 respondents) to the Nigeria Police, a decision the Nigerian employees rejected.

“The court bellow upheld their argument that they are not police officers, but staff of Mobil Nigeria Unlimited.

“So Mobil appealed to this court. And after we have painstakingly looked at all the exhibits before us, including the appointment letters. And we have also looked at the Police Act as it relates to the mode of appointment of SPYs.

“We agree with the lower court that the respondents were employed by Mobil Nigeria Unlimited as their security staff.

“There is nothing in the Police Act, which gives Mobil the authority to appoint security officers and then, off-load them to the Nigeria Police.

“If the Police Council wanted to appoint SPYs it would have done in accordance with the Police Act, which it failed to do.

“The law is very clear. Whoever wants the services of policemen in its establishment, should apply to the Inspector General of Police (IGP). The IGP would then request for and receive clearance from the President of the country.

“After receiving clearance from the President, the IGP will now authorise the Police Council to direct the Police Service Commission (PSC) to appoint. That is the way the law puts it.

“The PSC will now appoint these officers and then, post them to any establishment that requires them.

“But, in this case, Mobil advertised for recruitment, conducted interview, issued them with appointment letters; and then, gave them that name: Supernumerary Police Officers (SPY).

“Whatever name you give them, the basis is, who appointed them? So, whoever appointed them is their boss, which is Mobil Nigeria Unlimited.

“So, this appeal lacks merit and its is hereby dismissed. The judgment of the lower court is upheld,” Justice Okoro said.

The apex court also dismissed a similar appeal by the IGP, on the ground that it was unnecessary and a waste of public funds.

The Nigerian workers were variously employed in early 1990s by Mobil in its security unit. But for unknown reasons, the company chose to refer to them as: “SPY Police of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited,” a decision that later created confusion over the actual status of the workers.

In 2000 a dispute arose about the status of the security guards, with Mobil claiming to have transferred their employment to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

Mobil claimed it engaged them as SPY police personnel, and not actual staff; a claim the affected workers disputed, with some of them refusing to be transferred out of their stations.

They (the Nigerian workers) alleged being victimised, with some sacked unceremoniously for insisting on right to being entitled to be treated as other employees of Mobil.

They further alleged that, aside from being subjected to harsh working condition, they were compelled to sign a document identified as “Mobil Producing Nigeria status agreement for supernumerary police service condition agreement.”

The workers said although some of them succumbed and endorsed the documents, others stood their ground, and later sought the protection of the court by filing a suit at the Federal High Court, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, marked: FHC/UY/CS/2004.

In a judgment on January 24, 2006, Justice Gladys Olotu of the Federal High Court (now compulsorily retired by the National Judicial Council) ruled in favour of Mobil.

The judge said, among others, that although the Mobil did not fully comply with the requirement under the Police Act, in recruiting SPY policemen, it could be assumed that it complied, having substantially complied with some of the regulations.

The Nigerian workers appealed Justice Olotu’s decision at the Court of Appeal, Calabar, Cross River State, which rendered its judgment on May 21, 2009 a nullity.

A three-man panel of the Appeal Court, in its May 21, 2009 judgment, held among others, that the Nigerian workers were Mobil’s employees and ordered it to assume its responsibilities as they relate to the Nigerian workers. The panel comprised Justice Kumai Akaahs, Jean Omokri and Theresa Orji-Abadua.

Justice Orji-Abadua observed, in the lead judgment, that: “It is clear in exhibits D and E (Mobil’s letters to the Police, requesting training for its security recruit) that the 1st respondent (Mobil) was referring to their own security men as Supernumerary Police recruit, and it wanted them to be trained by the Nigeria Police in respect of which it made application to the Commissioner of Police in charge of Cross River State.”

She noted that: “Section 18(1) & (2) of the Police Act expressly stated the way and manner a supernumerary police officer will be appointed upon the application of the person desiring to take advantage of the services of police for protection of his property. It is clear that any step short of the ones prescribed by the Police Act will be null and void.

“The appellants were not employed by the Nigeria Police Force and then appointed as Supernumerary Police Officers by the Police Service Commission on the directive of the Inspector general of Police for the protection of the 1st respondent’s property as envisaged by Section 18(1) & (2) of the Police Act.

“They were and still are the employees of the 1st respondent since there was no affidavit evidence indicating that the appellants’ employment had been determined by the 1st respondent,” Justice Orji-Abadua said.

Mobil and the IGP appealed the Appeal Court’s judgment separately, the appeals that were dismissed Friday by the Supreme Court for lacking in merit.

Nigerians have taken to social media to blast Gombe State Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo after he stylishly mocked President Buhari for blaming Nigerian youths for unemployment.Below is what he wrote and how Nigerians reacted...

'We will create millions of jobs if voted into office in 2019. We have done it before and we will do it again.

We will not blame the youths for the increase in unemployment rate in the country. We acknowledge that government exist to fix problems not to blame the citizens'.

Amongst them was Ibrahim Magu, the acting chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. He was promoted to the rank of a full commissioner from deputy commissioner.

Mr Magu was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 to lead his administration’s anti-corruption efforts. But despite repeated nominations to the National Assembly, lawmakers declined to ratify his appointment, but the president said he would keep him in the position, anyway.

The new promotion was contained in a statement by Ikechukwu Ani, a spokesperson for the PSC.

Horror: Woman Cuts Off Ex-Husband's Manhood With Kitchen Knife
A woman has been dragged to face the wrath of the law after she was alleged to have cut off her ex-husbands manhood.

Lira Plaksina chopped off her ex-husband's p*nis with a kitchen knife

According to Daily Mail UK, a woman chopped off her ex-husband's manhood with a kitchen knife after he turned up at her home in Russia and 'demanded s*x', a court heard.

Lira Plaksina, 47, from Vasilyevo village in the Tatarstan region claimed she hacked off his manhood after he appeared at her home drunk.

She told a court in the oil-region area that the 44-year-old attacked her having demanded s*x and that she then acted in self defence.

But the judge decided she had severed the man's manhood and scrotum as he was lying asleep on the sofa at her village house.

The former husband also suffered an injury to the right hip in the incident in October last year.

The house where the attack took place

As she was led out of court wearing a black dress, Plaksina - handcuffed to a policeman - waved and blew a kiss. She was jailed for four years.

She showed no regret and said: 'Everything is normal - (I got) four years.'

Her ex-husband is now living with another woman, say his relatives.

Neighbours said the couple had frequent 'fights' and there were 'tensions in their relationship' leading to their split.

As shared On twitter with caption ..

Cee-C is even better than Buhari. At least after insulting Tobi, she realized her error and apologized. Rather than apologize after calling Nigerian youths lazy, Buhari justifies it. If Cee-C is worthy of eviction, Buhari is thrice as worthy and should be evicted from Aso Rock!

10 Villagers Killed In Agasha, Benue By Fulani Herdsmen (Graphic Pics)

Suspected Fulani herdsmen Thursday attacked residents of Agasha town in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State - killing at least 10 villagers in the process. According to reports, the herdsmen invaded the town from the neighbouring Nasarawa State and opened fire on the unsuspecting residents.

10 people were reportedly killed while several others sustained injuries.

This is even as Naka town in Gwer West Local Government Area was razed down by angry soldiers who were protesting the killing of one of them by youths of the area.

In Naka, the capital of Gwer West Local Government Area of the state, men of the Nigerian army deployed to the area went on rampage, arresting and burning down several commercial and residential houses following the killing of a soldier by unknown men.

The soldier, Private Danlami Gambo, was said to be missing for some days from his duty post, but was later discovered dead and was buried in a shallow grave.

It was alleged that the soldier was mistaken for a herdsman among those terrorising the area and killing several persons last week.

Soldiers Gun Down Boko Haram Member While Fleeing In A Gun Truck. Photos

Troops of Operation Lafiya Dole in a blocking operation to canalize and deny Boko Haram insurgents freedom of action and escape from ongoing onslaught in the Sambisa region have killed one Boko Haram insurgent yesterday Thursday 19 April 2018 at the Ngala bridge in Gamboru Ngala area of Borno State.

Troops killed the insurgent and wounded several others at about 6.30 pm in an encounter , with elements of the insurgent group who were fleeing in two Gun trucks through Ngala road. The gallant troops engaged the insurgents, destroying one of the Gun trucks and recovering an Anti Aircraft Gun , 2 AK 47 rifles and 2 Magazines abandoned by the fleeing insurgents under the superior fire power of the troops.

In another operation, troops on patrol along Jebra - Firgi road at about 1. 30 pm yesterday averted a devastating plot by Boko Haram terrorists to attack troops and other unsuspecting road users with multiple Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) concealed under foliage along the road.

The troops uncovered three primed IEDs concealed under shrubs along the road shoulder and connected to a long detonating cable dragged into the bush towards the Sambisa axis. The IEDs have been safely detonated by Operation Lafiya Dole Explosive Ordnance Disposal team.

Vigilant troops have also arrested one Madaki Tumba aka Kalifa, a suspected Boko Haram terrorist at a location ahead of Limankara .The suspect was nabbed yesterday at about 6.14 pm by troops on patrol while in possession of one M16 rifle and a magazine loaded with 2 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition. He is currently undergoing preliminary investigation.

The ongoing operations against Boko Haram terrorists, conducted by troops of Operation Lafiya Dole simultaneously in the Sambisa region and the Lake Chad Islands is undoubtedly strangulating the insurgent group, hence its resort to attacking soft targets with suicide bombers and other forms of IEDs in a desperate bid to remain relevant.

Oby Ezekwesili Reacts To Femi Adesina's Statement On Buhari Calling Youths Lazy

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has reacted to Femi Adesina’s statement where he said President Buhari never described all Nigerian youths as lazy.

According to Adesina, President Buhari said a lot of Nigerian youths are lazy and not all youths.

Ezekwesili’s in reaction wrote on twitter:

“ .@FemAdesina says the President only said, “a lot of.” “Not all.” A lot of, Plenty o. A lot of, means Majority o. Hmmm. I pray for YOU. May God never let you specialize in what my Dad used to describe as Semantic Obscurantism.

Would have made sense to sincerely apologize on this legendary misspeak of our President .@MBuhari than to rush out with these acrobatics of “A Lot Of is Not Equal to All”. When shall his media team learn? Been almost four years. I mean, FOUR YEARS. Haba.

IMT: Enugu Govt. Approves N810 Million For Upgrade Of Infrastructure
User Avatar Forum: Education
Posted by: Edoman - 04-20-2018, 11:10 AM - No Replies

In continuation of its efforts towards the repositioning and revamping of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, the Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi administration on Thursday had a final deliberation on the presentation earlier made by the Governing Council of the Institute and approved the sum of N810 million for further upgrade of infrastructure in the school.

Briefing newsmen, after a presentation at the meeting of the State Executive Council (EXCO), the Chairman of the IMT Governing Council, Mrs. Ifeoma Nwobodo, stated that the approval was given to address the “neglect and dilapidation of infrastructure in the institution for the past 45 years”.

Mrs. Nwobodo, who was accompanied by other members of the Council and top management officials, regretted that the infrastructure in the institution had been neglected and abandoned for so many years, prior to the inception of the present administration, adding that before now, apart from TETFUND projects, “every other project has not seen a coat of paint for the past 35 years”.

She noted that the Gov. Ugwuanyi administration had done a lot in renovating and revamping the institution to standard, pointing out that the administrative process that led to the recent approval commenced late last year. She added that the projects when completed “will enhance the quality of our students and turn around the face of the school to modern standard”.

The IMT Council Chairman disclosed that the school will execute projects the like of which “has not been seen before”, expressing delight at the governor’s passion for IMT, the welfare of the state and students as well as his commitment to qualitative and affordable education in the state.

Her words: “We have been given approval to commence, after due process, the construction of ultramodern classrooms, fully furnished and fitted with modern equipment like you can see in any of the international platform.

“We have gotten approval to build modern public conveniences for staff and students. We have also gotten approval to build a registry complex for the records and exams division. We equally got approval to build a student medical centre. All these things are what we have come to achieve”.

On the abandoned projects, Mrs. Nwobodo revealed that “the problem IMT has had was that certain projects were awarded in the past to incredible contractors that abandoned them”, maintaining that the new contracts will be awarded to contractors that have verifiable proof of performance and quality delivery of jobs in other places.

She also told newsmen that part of the presentation made to the EXCO, was highlights of the development plans for various departments, such as the school of fine and applied arts, engineering and accountancy departments among others, stating that “the governor had approved funds last year for the rehabilitation of the school’s television and radio studios.

“I want to state that we have a leader in the person of His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. I want to say that he is passionate about IMT. I want to tell everybody that the governor is very much interested in the welfare of the staff and students of the institution”, she said.

It would be recalled that Gov. Ugwuanyi, on assumption of office, took prompt and visionary steps aimed at revamping and repositioning the institute (and other state-owned tertiary institutions) to make it a degree-awarding institution.

A few months after his inauguration, the governor intervened by offsetting a backlog of unpaid workers’ salaries, mostly inherited from the previous administration.

Sequel to the completion of the process for the transition of IMT to a degree-awarding institution, the State Executive Council, despite the severe economic crunch in the country, approved the sum of N100 million for the school to meet the accreditation needs of various courses, among other interventions.

WHERE DID WE GO WRONG? SOS LETTER TO THE VICE CHANCELLOR, UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN

We the entire students admitted into the Department of Psychology, Distance Learning Program of the University of Ibadan for the 2009/2010 have decided to reach you through this unconventional means having exhausted all avenue to have our grievances addressed by both the Department, and the Distance Learning authority. It's disheartening enough that we are still without our results in 2018 when we are supposed to have graduated in 2014/2015 academic session. As it were today, the whole essence of enrolling in the program for many of us is defeated. Those who needed the certificate to seek employment are stranded while those who desire to pursue higher degrees are frustrated! What is our offence sir? Some of us thought the Distance Learning program would be a shorter route to acquiring a degree, believing that our calender would be sacrosanct! For goodness sake we didn't enrol for a degree in medicine yet have spent 10 years on a 5 year program! We wrote our last paper in July 2015; three years after we are still without our results! What is happening? We may not attract the necessary attention because we aren't consider regular students. But we paid school fees and fulfilled the necessary requirements for graduation! We guess we are being taken for a ride because we can't organise ourselves for a protest. Sir, rather than play with people's lives why don't you consider closing down the Distance Learning Program. At least that would save prospective students from the wickedness and incompetence of a Department of Psychology.

Kenya’s President, Uhuru Kenyatta, has commended Nigeria’s entrepreneur and philantropist, Tony Elumelu, for the $100 million commitment by his organisation to identify, fund, train and ultimately empower 10,000 African entrepreneurs.
The African grown Tony Elumelu Foundation, Kenyatta said, is doing a good job supporting growth, while expressing gratitude for the selection of 74 entrepreneurs from Kenya as part of this year’s 1000-member entrepreneurship programme, which is now in its fourth edition.

“It is a great thing to see Africans coming out forcibly to build to Africa through initiatives such as this. Our continent is endowed with massive resources; we do not have to always rely on support from elsewhere,” he said.

Speaking at the State House, in Nairobi, during a meeting with Elumelu, who also doubles as the Chairman of the United Bank for Africa, said the continent needs more of Elumelu’s personality and drive to empower budding African entrepreneurs.

For Elumelu, the objective of the scheme is to create over one million jobs and add $10 million in revenues to Africa’s economy over our ‘decade of entrepreneurship,’ which started in 2015.He said the 74 entrepreneurs from Kenya are part of a group of 1,000 entrepreneurs selected from 150,000 applications from the 54 African countries.

Elumelu expressed optimism that the 74 Kenyan entrepreneurs selected by his foundation will champion entrepreneurial development in Kenya and lend their support to local initiatives that will drive inclusive growth and development.

Oil Prices Hit $75 As Saudi Seeks Hike
User Avatar Forum: Business/Investment

Oil prices rose on Thursday to their highest since late 2014 as the United States crude inventories declined after sources told the media that top exporter, Saudi Arabia is seeking to push oil prices higher.

Brent crude oil futures rallied as high as 74.44 dollars a barrel, the strongest since Nov. 27, 2014, the day that OPEC decided to pump as much as it could to defend market share.

Brent futures were at 74.35 dollars per barrel at 0823 GMT, up 87 cents from their last close.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose 71 cents to 69.18 dollars a barrel. WTI had earlier hit 69.27 dollars , its best level since Dec. 2, 2014.

“Oil prices continued to climb on Thursday as a decline in U.S. crude inventories and commentary from Saudi Arabia that it will be happy to see crude rise to 80 dollars or even 100 dollars helped boost prices,” RBC said in a note.

The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and other major producers including Russia started to withhold output in 2017 to rein in oversupply that had depressed prices since 2014.

OPEC and its partners will meet in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on April 20. OPEC will then meet on June 22 to review its oil production policy.

Since the start of the supply cuts, crude inventories have gradually declined from record levels towards long-term average levels.

Further supporting oil prices is an expectation that the U. S. will re-introduce sanctions against Iran, OPEC’s third-largest producer, which can result in further supply reductions from the Middle East.

Attempt To Defend Buhari’s Comments On Nigerian Youths Imbecilic — Lawyer
User Avatar Forum: Politics
Posted by: Edoman - 04-20-2018, 10:01 AM - No Replies

Quote:THE effort of the Presidency to defend President Muhammadu Buhari over his comments on Nigerian Youths has been described as imbecilic.

While answering a question at the Commonwealth Business Forum in London on Wednesday, President Buhari had cause to talk about Nigerian youths.

Mr Buhari had described the youths as illiterates who are lazy and want freebies with the notion that the nation is an oil producing country.

He had said: “We have a very young population; our population is estimated conservatively to be 180 million. More than 60 per cent of the population is below the age of 30. A lot of them have not been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria has been an oil producing country, therefore they should sit and do nothing and get housing, healthcare and education free.”

His comments sparked reactions from the country’s young population who lambasted the president over his comments on them.

Defending Buhari, the Presidency blamed those it called ‘statement twisters‘ as those who manipulated the president’s comments about the youths.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, in a statement denied the president disparaged Nigerian youths, adding that, “Elementary English recognizes a wide gulf between “a lot of” and the word “all.”

Adesina asked, “How can “a lot of them,” suddenly transmogrify to mean “all of them?”

The remarks of the presidential aide did not go down well with a Human Rights Activist, Inibehe Effiong, prompting him to describe the attempt by Adesina to defend his principal as ‘imbecilic.’

Effiong, 29, a legal practitioner who resides in Lagos said the President remarks about Nigerian youths amounts to being irresponsible assertion of deficit in governance skills while describing him as one who has no integrity.

“How many times has Buhari held a media chat since he assumed office? How many interviews has this President granted in Nigeria? How many new books has Buhari read in the last two years?

“What has Buhari done to change the comatose state of our educational system? A President that only regains his voice when he is abroad should not be taken seriously by the citizens.

“You do not constantly malign your country and people before imperial governments. That is not bluntness or being truthful, it is an irresponsible assertion of deficit in governance skills by a man who is paid to lead.

“Buhari has no integrity. People should stop associating Buhari with integrity.

“Under this same Buhari’s “integrity” administration, We’ve seen how children of the political class are getting preferential treatment in recruitment into ‘lucrative’ agencies to the disadvantage of the “lazy Nigerian youths”. Mr. Fake Integrity has not given citizens equal treatment but speaks condescendingly of the poor youths.

“I live and work in Lagos, a state where people barely sleep well because most residents are ceaselessly busy with their work. As early as 4AM, people are struggling to make ends meet. There is just ‘no dull moment’ in Lagos. A vast majority of residents of Lagos are young people. Go to Computer Village in Ikeja and see the determined spirit of Nigerian youths.

“Trying to distinguish “a lot of young Nigerians” from “all young Nigerians” is the most imbecilic attempt to defend the indefensible outbursts of Buhari. This is a country that has become a Destiny Killer to young people, largely because of failed leaders like Buhari.

“Here is a man whose children are feeding fat on the wealth of the long suffering people of Nigeria whose fortunes have been greatly diminished by his unparalleled incompetence and unprecedented nepotism. Buhari has insulted the lifeline of this nation; young people.

“Buhari behaves like a deaf and dumb person whenever he is in Nigeria by speaking in laconic terms but will always become offensively and irritatingly loquacious once he leaves the shores of Nigeria.

“This President is rude, ungrateful and grossly incompetent,” Effiong said.

Crude Oil Price Rises To $74, Highest In Four Years
User Avatar Forum: Business/Investment
Posted by: Edoman - 04-20-2018, 09:31 AM - No Replies

With the declining United States crude oil inventories, the price of oil thursday hit $74 per barrel, its highest in nearly four years as Saudi Arabia moved to push for a price rise of $80 -$100 per barrel.

Reuters reported that Brent crude futures reached $74.74 per barrel yesterday, the highest since November 27, 2014 while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were up 53 cents at $69.00. WTI had earlier hit $69.56, its highest since November 28, 2014.

It was exactly on November 27, 2013 that the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) decided to pump as much as it could to defend market share, an action that sent the price of oil to a low of $27 per barrel in February 2016.

With the drop in oil price to an all-time low, OPEC and other major producers including Russia started to withhold output in 2017 to rein in oversupply that had depressed prices since 2014.

The production-cutting pact between the OPEC, Russia and other producers has given strong tailwind to oil prices.
OPEC’s main objective for the cuts is to eliminate a global surplus in oil stocks and rebalance the market.

OPEC, together with Russia and a group of other producers, last November extended an output-cutting deal to cover all of 2018.
The current deal, under which OPEC and non-OPEC producers are cutting supply by about 1.8 million barrels per day, expires in March 2018.

OPEC and its partners will meet in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on April 20, 2018. The cartel will then meet on June 22, 2018 to review its oil production policy.

Reuters reported on Wednesday that top oil exporter Saudi Arabia would be happy for crude to reach $80 or even $100 a barrel, which was viewed as a sign that Riyadh will not seek changes to the supply pact.

Since the start of the supply cuts, crude inventories have declined gradually from record highs towards long-term average levels.
In the U.S., the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday that commercial crude stocks fell close to the five-year average of about 420 million barrels.

Also supporting prices is the possibility that the U.S might re-impose sanctions on Iran, OPEC’s third-largest producer, which could result in further supply reductions from the Middle East.

But some analysts saw limits to the bull market. After falling from an all-time high of $147 per barrel in July 2008, Brent crude price had hit a peak of $115 per barrel in June 2014 before the excess inventory in the oil market forced the price down to $27 per barrel in February 2016.

WTI also reached a peak of $105 per barrel in June 2014 before the sharp drop in oil prices.

Fayose, Obanikoro, Omisore Lose N2.273b Assets
User Avatar Forum: Politics
Posted by: Edoman - 04-20-2018, 09:28 AM - No Replies

Quote:Posted By: Yusuf Alli

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered property and cash worth N2.273 billion from Governor Ayodele Fayose, ex-Deputy Governor Iyiola Omisore and a former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, out of the N4.685 billion allocated to them by the Office of National Security Adviser (ONSA).

The said cash, which was sourced from the $2.1 billion voted for arms procurement, was meant for the 2014 governorship campaign by Fayose and Omisore on the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The trial of Omisore by EFCC is expected to begin any moment from now because charges have been preferred and filed against him.

The EFCC is awaiting a date from the court for the arraignment of Omisore, who might be re-arrested.

But the prosecution of Fayose is withheld till after the completion of his tenure and immediately he hands over to the next governor of the state.

But Obanikoro, who was allegedly the courier of the fund to Fayose and Omisore, was still being investigated by detectives following more cases he was allegedly linked with.

A fact-sheet obtained from the EFCC revealed that out of the N4.685 billion, detectives traced N2.0030 billion to Omisore; N685 million to Obanikoro and N1.3 billion and $5.377 million (at the exchange rate of N168 to $1) to Fayose.

The document said: “The N4.685 billion was disbursed by ONSA through a company, Sylvan McNamara Limited, which was submitted by Obanikoro for onward transfer to Fayose and Omisore for their gubernatorial election in 2014 on the platform of the PDP.

“Out of the sum, Omisore got N1.7 billion and additional N330 million was given to him through his company, Fimex Guilt Limited, bringing his campaign slush cash to N2.0030 billion.

“From his share, Omisore has paid back N350 million. Although he pleaded for more time, EFCC is expecting the balance from him.”

The fact-sheet stated that charges have been preferred against Omisore.

The document gave the details of how arms cash was allocated to Fayose and the retention of N685 million by Obanikoro.

It said: On his part, Fayose was allocated N1.3 billion and $5.377 million (at the exchange rate of N168. The $5,377,000 was handed over in cash by Obanikoro to Fayose while the N1.3 billion was received by Fayose’s associate, Mr. Abiodun Agbele, in the presence of the ex-Minister’s Aide-de-Camp, who also accompanied them to the bank along with bank officials.

“From the $5 million, Fayose gave his Personal Assistant, Agbele about $1million, which he exchanged to Naira and paid for properties on behalf of the governor. Detectives suspected that Fayose added more of the N1.3 billion cash to what he gave Agbele to buy the affected assets.

“The properties worth N1.8 billion purchased with the said proceeds of crime have been recovered from Fayose and his sister, Moji Ladeji.

“These assets include four in Lagos (N1.1 billion) and two in Abuja worth about N500 million to N700 million.

“But Fayose has been claiming that he used his company, Spotless to obtain a loan of N120 million from Zenith Bank as part of what he used to buy one of the properties in Abuja. We are already tracking how he disbursed the N1.3 billion.

“A prima facie case has been established against Fayose but he is enjoying immunity from prosecution as enshrined in the 1999 Constitution. He will, however, face trial as soon as he hands over power to his successor.

“But the associate of the governor, Abiodun Agbele, has been charged to court accordingly.”

Regarding the investigation of Obanikoro, the fact-sheet indicated that “the ex-minister retained N685 million out of the N4.685 billion given to him by ONSA.

“A sum of N123 million has been recovered from Obanikoro, who claimed he was only asked to deliver the cash to both Fayose and Omisore for their gubernatorial campaign.

“The ex-minister is still under investigation following some cases allegedly still linked with him.”

•Judges nullify victory at high court

THE Court of Appeal yesterday ordered two accounts of Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose domiciled with the Zenith Bank to be frozen.
The court gave the order having been convinced by the argument of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that they were used to keep proceeds of crime.

The three-man panel, led Justice Joseph Shagbaor Ikyegh, allowed the EFCC appeal and upturned the judgment of the Federal High Court, Ado-Ekiti, which was delivered about one year and four months ago.

Other members of the panel are Justice Boloukurumo Moses Ugo and Justice Mohammed Mustapha.

The judgment of the lower court, which unblocked the governor’s two accounts, was delivered by Justice Taiwo Taiwo on December 13, 2016.

Fayose withdrew N5 million from one of the accounts immediately and transferred the sum of N75 to his lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN).

Dissatisfied with the Ado-Ekiti Federal High Court’s verdict, the EFCC filed an appeal at the appellate court on three grounds.

The anti-graft agency contended that the immunity enjoyed by the governor did not preclude his account from being frozen.

The Appeal Court allowed the appeal and held that Fayose’s accounts, which were unblocked by the Federal High Court, be frozen.

The court delivered the judgment upon reading the record of the appeal and after hearing EFCC’s counsel, Mr. Rotimi Oyedepo, Fayose’s counsel, Mike Ozekhome and Zenith Bank’s counsel, Mr. Oluwasegun Ayinde.

Justice Ikyegh ordered “that the appeal is meritorious and, having resolved all three issues agitated in the appeal in appellant’s (EFCC’s) favour.

“That the appeal is hereby allowed; that the judgment delivered by Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court, Ekiti Judicial Division, on the 13th day of December, 2016, granting the claims of the 1st respondent in Suit No: FHC/AD/CS/27/2016 is hereby set aside.”

The two accounts had earlier been frozen by Justice Mohammed Shuaibu of Federal High Court, Lagos in an ex-parte motion brought by the EFCC.

The financial results released yesterday showed gross earnings of N169.192 billion, indicating a growth of 14 per cent from N147.736 billion in 2017.Net income increased by 35 per cent from N70.604 billion to N95.898 billion in 2018.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

FRIDAY, 20TH APRIL.

Pastor Chris

TOPIC ✨ Understanding Your Divine Nature ✨

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature… (2 Peter 1:4).

Did you know that as a Christian, you’re actually born of God? The Bible says in 1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children…”; meaning that your origin is in God; you’re born of Him; you came from Him. No wonder John exclaimed, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world…” (1 John 5:4).

The Christian isn’t an ordinary person; he’s a partaker of the divine nature. I would to God that every Christian understood what that means! It means you’re in God’s class of being; you belong to a heavenly pantheon; you’re an associate of the God-kind. So, when we say we’re more than conquerors, this is what it’s about; we’re not merely quoting scriptures. As He (Jesus) is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17); meaning that as He’s divine, so are we divine.

He said in John 5:26, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” Then 1 John 5:11-12 says, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life….” We have the same life with Him; it’s the divine life; it’s what makes us absolutely indestructible.

When we say a Christian ought not to be sick, it’s premised on this reality. Divine health is your nature, not a hope or promise from God, because you’re born of God’s incorruptible seed—His Word (1 Peter 1:23). Therefore, the life in you can’t be corrupted by sickness, disease or death. Refuse to accept that it’s “normal” or okay for a Christian to be sick; it’s not.

In Mark 16:17-18, the Lord Jesus, referring to the Christian, said, “…if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them….” You’re not among those that can be “infected” by anything. Jesus said so, and if He did, then it’s an absolute reality. No infection should thrive in your body.

Meditate on this truth until it gains the ascendancy in your spirit and becomes your experience. Refuse to accommodate anything that’s inconsistent with your divine nature.

PRAYER

Blessed Father, I thank you for giving me a life of glory, dominion and excellence; I walk in the reality of this truth. You’ve made me impregnable to sickness, disease, poverty, and anything that hurts. Therefore, I walk conscious of my divine nature today and always, reigning over Satan and his cohorts of hell, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study:

Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

PRO BUHARI SENATORS RECEIVE 2BIL FROM NNPC GMD
User Avatar Forum: Politics
Posted by: Edoman - 04-19-2018, 11:47 PM - No Replies

LeadersNG have exclusively gathered that some pro Buhari senators are currently plotting to impeach President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki.  Senators Abdullahi Adamu from Niger, Yusuf A. Yusuf from Taraba, Abu Ibrahim from Katsina, Ahmed Abubakar Moallahyidi, Ali Ndume from Borno, Babajide Omoworare from Osun, Umari I. Kurfi from Katsina and the controversial and currently suspended Ovie Omo-Agege from Delta are all part of an ongoing plot to impeach the current senate president over a supposed perception of Saraki’s resistance to Buhari’s reelection bid.

LeadersNG have gathered from a source within the APC caucus of the Senate that the senators led by Abdullahi Adamu  approached Maikanti Baru, the Group Managing Director of the NNPC after consultations with Mamman Daura and Abba Kyari, Buhari’s chief of staff after the condolence visit paid to Late SenatoMustapha Bukar in Daura where President Buhari was also in attendance. The Pro Buhari senators have reportedly received part funding from Kanti Baru to fund the lobbying of senators for this purpose. The Senators who met the NNPC GMD on two different locations, gave him a budget of N3 Billion ,which is to disbursed to to 60 Senators at N50 Million each. The Source said close to N2 Billion has been released to the Senators through Senator Abdullahi Adamu.  The senators in Daura had pledged their solidarity to President Buhari during the visit in line of his second term intentions.
The plot to impeach Saraki is not unconnected to the election time table rescheduling which has been widely perceived by Pro Buhari senators as Saraki’s attempt to resist the second coming of President Buhari. It is no secret that the relationship between The President and The Senate President has been clouted with political machinations from both sides attempting to reduce the powers of the other.
Our source cannot confirm as at the time of this report if President Buhari sanctioned or is aware of the impeachment plot against Bukola Saraki or if it is wholly sponsored by Kanti Baru, Abba Kyari and Mamman Daura.
Our source has also revealed that the plotters of the impeachment are lining up Senator Ali Mohammed Ndume, the Borno South Senator whose membership of the house has been saddled with controversies including alleged links to the Boko Haram terrorist sect, to be the next senate President should their ultimate scheme goes as planned.
Senators that have already been spoken to by the engineers of the plot are:
Sen. AHMAD ABUBAKAR
Sen. BINTA GARBA
Sen. NYAKO ABDUL-AZIZ
Sen. MALAM WAKILI

The source said, more senator are being spoken to on a daily basis. The impeachment of Sen. Bukola Saraki is inevitable.
Wednesday’s ruckus at the plenary session may not be unconnected to the Anti Saraki plot which saw Senator Ovie Omo-Agege lead thugs in and out of the upper house chambers to seize the Mace of Authority. The easy entrance and exit of the thugs easily implicates the security agents including the Police and the SSS which are complicit in the sham at the chambers as none of the thugs were arrested. Senator Ovie Omo-Agege was taken away from the chambers by the FCT Police Commissioner himself in an arrest but was released shortly after without charge.
A close Aide to one of the Pro-Buhari Senators confirmed to LeadersNG that they have the Full backing of the National Security Adviser, DG of SSS, and the Inspector General of Police and that nothing will happen to senator Ovie Omo-agege or any of them. He further insisted that Bukola Saraki must be removed as Senate President because he is working with PDP Against the President as Senator Ike  Ekweremadu is more Powerful than Most APC Senators. The Source Further said you must never forget that Senator Bukola Saraki’s heart have always been with the PDP.  http://abujareporters.com.ng/pro-buhari-...-nnpc-gmd/

8 reasons why you’ve suddenly gained weight
User Avatar Forum: Health Wise
Posted by: Edoman - 04-19-2018, 10:49 PM - No Replies

1. It’s a thyroid problem
Have you been eating well and exercising and yet you’ve STILL put weight on? You may have hypothyroidism which happens when your thyroid gland is sluggish and can lead to unexpected weight gain. If you’re experiencing this along with fatigue, heavier or irregular periods and chilliness, consider seeing your doctor.
2. It’s that time of the month
[img=320x0]https://www.healthymummy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/period-1024x661.png[/img]
Periods can be SO annoying, and they could be contributing to your weight gain. When we’re PMSing, we tend to feel bloated and reach for the chocolate, chips and all those other unhealthy foods. So it’s natural to gain a few kilos in such a short space of time.
Want to know more about what your period could be telling you about your health? Find out here.
3. Water retention
If you’re eating too much salt, the body retains water. This will result in that unpleasant bloated feeling and it will possibly make you gain more weight. Not only that, but that bloating can stay on for a few days and if you’re dehydrated when you weigh in, that’ll make that number on the scales higher.
4. Stressed or depressed
When we’re feeling under pressure or depressed, our bodies release a hormone called cortisol. High levels of cortisol have been linked to weight gain as well as chronic inflammation, premature ageing and many cancers, so remember to take time for yourself and try to relax when you can. Try yoga for a calming workout or just meditating with our Mind Body Breath sessions on the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.
5. Your birth control
Depending on the brand, dosage and hormone levels, your birth control may have an impact on your weight, especially if you’re on The Pill. If you’re new to a type of birth control and have suddenly gained weight, check with your doctor to explore other options.
6. Not eating the right nutrients
[img=320x0]https://www.healthymummy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Mental-Healthy-Advice-1024x584.jpg[/img]
You may be eating healthily, but if the nutrients aren’t properly absorbed then you won’t get the full effects. For instance, some vitamins including A, D, E, and K are fat-soluble so they need to be consumed with healthy fats to be absorbed properly.

[Image: Belly-Blaster-sideboard-STARTS-30-APRIL.gif]
Eat your vegetables with a healthy fat such as avocado, olive oil, oily fish like salmon or nuts, with meals to reap the full nutritional benefits and you may see some changes to your weight.
7. Bacteria overgrowth
Our guts are full of healthy bacteria, so when there’s an imbalance it can really wreak havoc on our bodies. You can better your digestion, avoid constipation and promote healthy bacteria growth by eating more fibre, drinking more water and perhaps consider taking a probiotic.
8. Getting old
Alas, this one is an inevitable pain! As we age, our metabolism slows down and we lose our lean muscle mass so we have to work extra hard to lose weight and stay in shape.
These mums are in their 40s and 50s and have shown that you can still see GREAT results! Have a look here!

Stolen Mace: Omo-agege Fights Back, Blocks Police, DSS From Arresting Him
User Avatar Forum: Politics
Posted by: Edoman - 04-19-2018, 10:07 PM - No Replies

@POLITICSNGR

Senator Ovie Omo-agege has successfully secured a court order blocking the Nigerian police force and the Department of state security services, DSS, from arresting him over yesterday's invasion of the Senate by thugs loyal to him.

Agege was arrested by the police shortly after his thugs stole the senate's mace and absconded. He was later released.

PoliticsNGR learned that an Abuja High Court, on Thursday, granted the Delta senator an interim order restraining the police, the Department of State Services (DSS) and other law enforcement bodies from arresting him.

He has also denied claims that he staged the incident.

Omo-Agege’s lawyers approached the court on Thursday to seek an interim injunction against arrest or detention of the senator.

The team of lawyers led by Aliyu Umar, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) were successful in getting the restraining order as the presiding Judge, Ishaq Bello, the presiding judge, consequently granted all their prayers.

7 Reasons Why Polytechnic Students Are Rated 2nd Class Student.
User Avatar Forum: Education
Posted by: Edoman - 04-19-2018, 08:22 PM - No Replies

This post is not created to promote hatred and disparity but to promote creativity and self development.
Gone are the days when polytechnic students are rated as the best in the field of practical but reverse is the case in this generation has polytechnic student no longer participate fully in practical.

The reasons include

(1)LACK OF SELF CONFIDENCE
Although 70% of Nigeria student lacks confidence to compete with their international counterpart after graduation but most polytechnic student feel empty after graduation due to the confidence they lack in themselves . Most of them don't believe in what they can achieve. Whenever they are vying for something with their University counterparts, they started having this feeling of emptiness in them...

(2)INABILITY TO DEVELOP ONESELF
As a matter of fact, most polytechnic in Nigeria lacks teaching facilities such as well unequipped laboratory ,library etc . unlike their University counterpart who consult textbook as recommended by their lecturers , most polytechnic student depend solely on the handout or material given to them by their lecturers therefore they limit them self to this material without developing themselves.

(3)LOW SELF ESTEEM
Some poly student do look down on themselves as if they are not real student. There's this saying that "whichever way you present yourself, that is the way you will be accepted".

(4)DISPARITY:
Due to the disparity between University and polytechnic graduates in the labour market. The morale of some polytechnic student drop whenever they think of this . That's the reason why some of them apply for direct entry after their ND/HND.... With PGD+HND, they are still not in the same level with their BSc counterparts.

(5)UNQUALIFIED ACADEMIC STAFF:
Leave it or take it , most polytechnics lacks qualified teaching staff. It is in polytechnic that you will see HND holder serving as teaching staff in the class room. The number of lecturers with PhD is nothing to write home about.. Most of the staffs don't develop themselves because they can reach the peak of their career(chief lecturer) with ordinary MSc unlike in the University where you will need to Obtain your Phd+many publications and a lot of research work to become a professor....
(6)POOR ACADEMIC CURRICULUM : How on earth can a student be offering 14-15 courses in a semester and the total day for the exam is a week or two. These makes them to read without understanding or to read just to pass their exams and this will affect in the nearest future.

(7)LACK OF RESEARCH
Most polytechnics in Nigeria still uses 19th century method of teaching to teach their student. For example,a mechanical engineering student that uses 1970 model Peugeot for their practical instead of modern cars. How will they be able to handle a modern vehicle after graduation.
Most of these poly students are not exposed to research.

SOLUTIONS
Development: Always develop yourself to be better than your university counterpart
Believe in yourself: Believe it that you can be better than your university counterpart
Proof yourself to people by displaying a marketable skills. Try to acquire skills relevant to your field... For example, as an engineering student, you can learn AutoCad or as a computer science student, you can learn programming...

Above it all, believe in yourself

Thugs Invasion: Sagay Blames Saraki For Missing Mace
User Avatar Forum: Retired Forums. Please Make Your Post Within The 3 Forums In General Discussion
Posted by: Edoman - 04-19-2018, 08:20 PM - No Replies

The Chairman of Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN) has blamed Senate President Bukola Saraki for the invasion of the senate by suspected thugs on Wednesday.

Sagay explained that Saraki and his minions in the senate had been provoking people to take the law into their own hands.

The Senior Advocate said this while speaking to Punch.

He said, “This Senate led by Bukola Saraki has been provoking Nigerians for a long time. What happened today (Wednesday) was illegal; there is no doubt about that. But the provocation that this particular Senate has been inflicting on Nigerians has reached a boiling point.

“You cannot be enjoying the huge and enormous resources of the people, living in luxury and at the same time refusing to do your job, making trouble with the executive at the slightest opportunity, bringing the government to a standstill and then turning members of the Senate into puns who can be pushed here and there.

“I think Saraki has gone too far. While what happened today is illegal, I have no doubt in my mind that he and the group that surround him provoked it. Ultimately, I hold Saraki responsible for what happened today.”

DAILY POST reports that thugs suspected to be loyal to the suspended Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial district, Ovie Omo-Agege had invaded the red chambers and forcefully took away the mace.

They broke into the chambers when plenary was going on, creating serious confusion and tension.

Few hours later, Sen. Omo-Agege was arrested in connection to the incident but was later released, after which he denied claims that he staged the incident.

Banky W Reacts To Buhari's "Nigerian Youths Are Lazy" Comment

APROKOGIRL

As shared On Instagram Read below

So apparently, this is what our President thinks about the Nigerian youth.
What do you guys think?

I have a suggestion. Whether you agree, or disagree with the President's comments, this time, do a little bit more than posting, commenting, retweeting, and complaining. Go and register to vote.

I've sat in countless meetings, seminars, conferences and hangouts with young people. We are always great at pointing out our issues.. but the truth is that we can sit around and complain from now until Kingdom come. IT WILL NOT MATTER. INEC will not count your tweets. Let's turn the month of May into #PVCMay.

Even if you don't know who you're voting for.. even if you hate every single candidate. At least register.. so that if someone comes along who you feel compelled to support, you can.

If you're really serious about wanting Nigeria to be a better place, go and register to vote. Get your PVC asap. The registration period will end LONG before the elections come, so if you think you can wait until next year, you are wrong.

Get your PVC today. Or don't bother complaining about anything, because it won't matter. Your tweets will not count. Your vote will.

  Appeal Court Freezes Fayose’s Account

@APROKOGIRL

Quote:A court of appeal sitting in Ado Ekiti has directed the freezing of the account of Ayo Fayose, governor of Ekiti state.

The court allowed the appeal filed by EFCC against the judgment of Taiwo Taiwo of federal high court, Ado Ekiti division.

In 2016, a federal high court sitting in Ado Ekiti set aside an earlier order of a federal high court in Lagos empowering the EFCC to freeze two Zenith Bank accounts of Fayose.

The court had ordered the EFCC to immediately lift the freeze order on the two accounts belonging to the governor, saying the anti-graft agency did not follow due process.

Taiwo had given the order while delivering his judgment, which lasted more than two hours, in a suit filed by the governor through Mike Ozekhome, his counsel. The judge said the rights of the governor had been infringed upon, considering the circumstance of his office.

He declared that apart from the immunity which Fayose currently enjoys as a sitting governor under section 308 of the constitution, it was wrong for EFCC to freeze his two accounts in apparent perpetuity without first investigating him or making him a party.

He described Fayose as “a genuinely deprived person who rushed to the court to seek constitutional protection”. The judge said it was also the duty of any presiding judge to protect the said constitution and its interpretations whenever the need arose.

“The plaintiff is entitled to be heard before his property or money can be seized; doing otherwise will amount to denying him fair hearing and constitutional rights,” he said

World Bank Confirms Economic Growth In Nigeria
User Avatar Forum: Business/Investment
Posted by: Edoman - 04-19-2018, 05:32 PM - No Replies

The World Bank on Wednesday said Sub-Saharan Africa’s growth is projected to reach 3.1 percent in 2018, and to average 3.6 percent in 2019–20.

This is contained in Africa’s Pulse, a bi-annual analysis of the state of African economies conducted by institution.

The report noted that the moderate pace of economic expansion reflects the gradual pick-up in growth in the region’s three largest economies, Nigeria, Angola and South Africa.

The growth forecasts are premised on expectations that oil and metals prices will remain stable, and that governments in the region will implement reforms to address macroeconomic imbalances and boost investment.

“Growth has rebounded in Sub-Saharan Africa, but not fast enough. We are still far from pre-crisis growth levels,” said Albert G. Zeufack, World Bank Chief Economist for the Africa Region.

“African Governments must speed up and deepen macroeconomic and structural reforms to achieve high and sustained levels of growth.”

Punam Chuhan-Pole, World Bank Lead Economist and the author of the report, said “For many African countries, the economic recovery is vulnerable to fluctuations in commodity prices and production”.

“This underscores the need for countries to build resilience by pushing diversification strategies to the top of the policy agenda.”

Evans Won't Escape Justice - Lagos Govt. , Reveals Update Of Rev. King's Case
User Avatar Forum: Retired Forums. Please Make Your Post Within The 3 Forums In General Discussion

@POLITICSNGR

The Lagos State Government on Wednesday assured that no effort would be spared in ensuring the logical conclusion of the cases filed in court against kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike popularly known as Evans.

Evans, who was arrested at his mansion in Magodo area of Lagos last year, is being prosecuted by the State Government in court alongside others for masterminding and executing series of high profile kidnappings and murder in the State.

In a statement made available to PoliticsNGR, the State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Adeniji Kazeem, who said this at the ongoing Ministerial Press Briefing held at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa as part of activities marking the third year anniversary of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s administration, said the State Government was committed to ensure the logical conclusion of all pending cases in court and serve justice to the people.

“On the Evans’ matter, the cases filed against him are ongoing in court. The issue is that the lawyer representing him is trying to play some games to delay the matter but in all his games, we have been defeating him in court.

“We have filed different cases. Some are for kidnapping and some bordered on murder and his lawyer is fighting all the cases but what I can assure the people is that we are committed to ensure the matter is concluded and defeat him at the end of the day,” Kazeem said.

While reeling out activities of the agencies under the Ministry in the last one year, the Attorney General said the State Government received and treated a total number of 11,451 cases through the Special Task Force Against Land Grabbers, Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) and the Special Offences (Mobile) Court in the last one year.

He said the government also received 316 inquiries through the recently unveiled first state-owned DNA and Forensic Centre with 71 active cases currently ongoing bordering on homicide, rape, toxicology, child trafficking, serology, among others.

According to Kazeem, the Anti-Land Grabbers Task Force designed by the present administration to fight the menace of forceful take-over of properties received 1300 petitions out of which 855 were concluded and 530 currently at various stages of resolution.

“In the period under review, over 35 arrests of suspected notorious land grabbers were effected while 26 criminal prosecution cases against suspected land grabbers are presently ongoing,” the Attorney General said.

Besides, the Attorney General said in a bid to enhance due diligence in property transaction, the State Government introduced the Real Estate Electronic Litigation Database designed for the provision of access to information primarily on properties which are subject of litigation, adding that since its launch, the portal has recorded over 1,000,000 hits and over 10,000 consistent users from Nigeria, United States, United Kingdom, South Africa and others.

He recalled that since its inception, the DSVRT had galvanized strategic action and responded appropriately to formal and informal reporting of incidents of rape, defilement, domestic violence, child abuse, neglect and maltreatment in the State through the active support of the Governor and other partners.

“The Ministry has noted an increase in report of domestic abuse against men. To date, the DSVRT has received a total number of 131 cases in this regard. Overall, a total number of 1771 cases were reported during the period under review. The team also provided free medical services and psycho-social therapy for over 700 survivors of domestic/sexual violence, conducted capacity building trainings with 220 police officers across the State, and successfully secured the conviction of seven perpetrators,” he said.

He added that through the Citizens’ Mediation Centre (CMC), the State Government received a total number of 47,292 new cases free of charge out of which 25,191 were resolved with others at various stages of resolution.

“The total value of settlement of debt related matters achieved by the Centre during the period under review from May 2017 to April 2018 as settlement between parties was N1,352,745,391,” the Atoorney General said, among other achievements by the State Government in the justice sector.

Speaking on Hotel and Restaurant Consumption (Fiscalization) Regulations 2018, Kazeem clarified that it was neither a new law nor an additional tax, but a regulation aimed at ensuring that government gets due revenue.

“It is a regulation and not a new law. It was made pursuant to an existing law that was already in operation. What this regulation essentially seeks to do is to allow the government to put certain equipment in the restaurant and hospitality organizations to properly monitor the revenue that is coming so we can know what exactly is due to the State Government.

“It is not an additional tax; it is just to enhance transparency in collection of taxes that are due to the State. So, I want to clarify that carefully,” Kazeem said.

On other high profile cases, he said it was gratifying to report that the cases were progressing in court, saying the Synagogue Church case for instance on the collapsed building which killed people was progressing well, adding that a no case submission filed by the accused persons instead of defending the case was recently dismissed by the Court, while the General Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly, Rev. Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, a.k.a Reverend King who is presently on death roll imposed by the court would have his fate determined in due course.

Some Biafran sympathizers are currently protesting at the Pall Mall Street, Westminster, a few metres from Buckingham Palace as President Muhammadu Buhari meet Queen Elizabeth II and other heads of state.

It would be recalled that Buhari while speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster, was quoted as saying that most youths prefer to do nothing because they feel Nigeria is an oil-rich.

The protesters are requesting the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) and a referendum on the fate of Biafra.

Ben Murray-Bruce Reacts To Buhari's "Nigerian Youths Are Lazy" Comment

Posted by: Edoman - 04-19-2018, 05:22 PM - No Replies

Taking to Twitter, Senator Ben Murray Bruce has reacted to President Buhari saying Nigerian youths are lazy and want oil money.

he wrote “Whoever says Nigerian youths are lazy should just buy a mirror and he or she will see the real definition of laziness! I have over 1000 Nigerian youths in my employ and not one of them is lazy”

President Buhari had said many Nigerian youths hate hardwork, waiting to get free oil money.

He said this while speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster on Wednesday.

He stressed that a lot of them have not been to school and they want everything free.

“About the economy, we have a very young population, our population is estimated conservatively to be 180 million. This is a very conservative one,” Buhari said.

“More than 60 percent of the population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, healthcare, education free.”

The president said he has done well on the three cardinal points of his campaign, including economy and security.

“Recently, my minister for information was constrained to answer a question on people accusing this administration of doing nothing, he said ‘let Nigerians be reminded what position we were before May 2015, what condition we are now, and what we have achieved between then and now and I think people were impressed with the answer.

“For security, we have done quite well. Economy, we are doing very well, especially with agriculture; we are providing soft loans…”

Olagoroye Faleyimu's Prophesies On Funke Akindele: Marry A Gateman To Have Child
User Avatar Forum: Other Stories
Posted by: Edoman - 04-19-2018, 05:20 PM - Replies (1)

Popular Lagos-based prophet Olagoroye Faleyimu in a recent chat with Yoruba Movie Magazine has once again urged Funke Akindele to go for prayers if she ever wants to have her own child before death comes knocking.

The founder of Blessing and Miracle Church of Christ said Funke Akindele must be closer to God if she ever wants to become a mother in life.

He also warned her hubby, JJC to be prayerful to overcome spiritual issues causing women to leave him.

Here is what Prophet Faleyimu told YMG in a recent chat:

Quote:“Recall that I have once said that Funke Akindele will keep acquiring more wealth, this was even before she started getting endorsement deals. She chooses wealth and fame when she was coming to the planet earth.

She is a promised child who has a limited time to live, and that is why I have been clamoring that she must have a special prayer so that she can genuinely conceive and have her own kids”.

“The special prayers most of them are doing are fakes. There is no how you can go for a special prayer without deliverance. A certain special prayer requests will be given to her and she goes to the mountain herself to fight the battle.

It is not something you ask a pastor to do for you. That is what special prayer is all about”.

“Counterfeit prophets have been predicting this and that about her, claiming they saw a set of twin in her womb, and that was why the rumour was everywhere a few months ago that she was pregnant.

She needs to open her mouth to deliver herself. If she fails to do the prayer, another grace for her is to marry a poor and unpopular pastor, the person will get the solution and she will have her own child”.

“Another way she can break the covenant is to probably marry a gate-man. This is the promise she made with her members in the spiritual realm. It might be difficult for her to have a child if she fails to break the covenant. The solutions to her problem about conceiving are what I have stated above”.

“If she comes to me for prayers and I pray for her, she won’t conceive. I can only give her some prayer points as guideline.

Immediately she engages in the special prayers, one of the signs she should watch out for is that, her money and endorsements will be reducing and within 2 months, the pregnancy will come.

BBNaija: Miracle And Alex Win 1 Million Naira In The Closeup Challenge
User Avatar Forum: Other Stories
Posted by: Edoman - 04-19-2018, 02:31 PM - No Replies

Big Brother Naija Season 3 finalists Miracle and Alex have won 1 Million Naira in the Closeup Challenge.

Despite the trailing drama and gloomy cloud hanging over the House thanks to Cee-C’S Strike worthy rage-race, The Housemates’ work ethic was injected with a ‘pick me up’ and soon enough, they went on scraping their ideas together and jingling away. However, Miracle and Alex’s efforts were the ones the bore Million Naira fruit.

Earlier on today Biggie asked the housemates to prepare for their Closeup task presentation, he also asked them to create groups and that they were to present the task in these groups.

Well our finalists have finally had the presentation and below is a break down of how things went.

The Alex and Cee-C pair were the first to present their Closeup Task piece, Alex presented her bae issues, mentioning how her boyfriend always has her brush her teeth before a kiss.

Cee-C then gave Alex some brushing advise, alerting her that there are very damaging and ineffective brushing methods that lead to oral problems. She also offered her some Closeup products like tooth paste and tooth brushes.

Miracle and Nina (Alpha) were then the second to present their piece, Miracle was to go on a date and his brother advised him to cover his mouth when talking to the ‘babe’ who in this case was Nina and it looked like he too needed some Closeup intervention.

Miracle tried his hardest to keep his mouth covered while talking to the babe (Nina) but his hand gave in and the odour escaped, having Nina leave him right there.

Miracle’s ‘brother’ then offered him a range of Closeup products in order to rectify his mouth odour problem and also advised him to get rid if his father’s toothbrush.

Miracle heeded his brother’s advise and got his brush on, it was then that Nina obliged to a second date and scored himself a bae.

Tobi and Cee-C were then the third pair to present, Tobi tried to chase his singing dreams but ended up being chased off the stage because of his smelly mouth. Tobi’s babe then offered some Closeup products and he comed back with a fresh breath. She also gave him more mouth health advise.

Then Miracle and Alex’s pair was the next in line, Miracle tried to keep his odour from ruining his job interview but Alex insisted that he spoke and when he did, need we say more…

Miracle then decided to seek medical advise, The doctor broke the odour dilemma down and advised him to use his new Closeup products instead of the toothbrush he’s used since he was a kid.

Thanks to Closeup, Miracle managed to kick the odour blues away and got his dream job.

Tobi and Nina (Omega) were the very last pair to present, Nina and Tobi had been tinder buddies for a while and decided to meet. Things however took a rather smelly turn when Nina uncovered her mouth which resulted in Tobi running off. Dr. Tobi then explained the odour issue and offered Nina a range of Closeup products in order to improve her chances of getting a kiss.

And after all the pairs’ presentations, Miracle and Alex (Delta) emerged as the winners of the Closeup challenge thereby bagging One Million Naira and Closeup products worth 50,000 Naira.

Congratulations to both Miracle and Alex..
