He is too old to be recruited into ESN, let alone be Ikonso’s Second in Command - IPOB counters claim of its top commander being arrested

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has countered report of the Nigerian army arresting an Eastern Security Network top commander.

Recall that the Nigerian Army said earlier that it arrested one Awurum Eze, who is the second in command of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), the security arm of the outlawed pro-Biafra group, IPOB.

Army Spokesperson said the 48-year-old man was arrested in Aba after initially escaping from intelligence Response Team (IRT) operatives who stormed his village house in Isiala Mbano on 4th of May 2021.

IPOB has however now reacted to the claim in a statement released on Thursday May 13. Spokesperson of the group, Emma Powerful disclosed that the said man is not an operative of ESN.

According to Emma, such man is too old to be recruited into ESN, let alone be Ikonso’s Second in Command. He also said background checks revealed that the man had issues with his traditional ruler who gave his contact to the security agents, alleging that he belongs to ESN.

Quote:“The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by our great leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, read with utter amusement, media reports of claims by the Nigeria Army that it arrested Ikonso’s Second in Command in Aba. This is a blatant lie and cheap propaganda to lay false claims to imaginary military prowess.
“The said man is not an operative of ESN. Such a man is too old to be recruited into ESN, let alone be Ikonso’s Second in Command.

“That you ambushed Ikonso with the help of some traitors did not mean you have crushed ESN. Stop claiming what you have not done in your bid to win public accolades. If you arrest or kill Ikonso’s second in Command we will not hesitate to admit it just the same way we did not deny the murder of Ikonso. We are not like Nigeria that lives in propaganda; we tell the truth always. So, stop harassing innocent Biafrans in the name of a manhunt for ESN personnel.

“Our background check revealed that the said man had issues with his traditional ruler who gave his contact to the security agents alleging that he belongs to ESN. He is not our own.

“We are assuring them that whatever they do they cannot win ESN in this fight for freedom. The secret killing and abduction can never make IPOB change our resolve towards restoring Biafra as an independent nation.

“Again, we wish to remind Biafrans and the world, of a grand plot by the Nigeria security agencies to reduce the Biafra population through the ongoing secret abductions and killing of innocent Biafrans after tagging them IPOB and ESN members.
“This wicked plot which started in Imo State is now gaining momentum across the entire Biafra land through the collaboration of some traitors in the mould of Supreme Court administrator of Imo State Hope Uzodinma and his likes. Biafrans of all age brackets are now at the mercy of the double-faced Nigeria security agents as all they need to arrest and kill them off is to brand them ESN operative or sponsor.”

His mental and physical condition cannot be ignored': More than 120 retired military generals write open letter questioning Joe Biden's mental health

A group of more than 120 retired military officers have written President Joe Biden a letter to tell him his election was illegitimate while raising questions about his mental acuity.

The letter talks about former US President Donald Trump's claims of widespread election fraud and comes a day after Rep. Liz Cheney was voted out of the Republican party leadership for criticisms of Trump for still peddling claims of electoral fraud.

The letter from the group which calls itself 'Flag Officers 4 America' and consists of retired military officers including generals and admirals reads:

'Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the 'will of the people' our Constitutional Republic is lost,'

'The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020,' they wrote.

The letter, called an 'Open Letter from Retired Generals and Admirals,' was first reported by Politico.

The letter buttresses Trump's claims that absentee ballots are not secure.

'Election integrity demands insuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature's approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc,' they write.

'Today, many are calling such commonsense [voter ID] controls “racist” in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic,' they write.

The retired officers raise doubts about Biden's mental capacity – and reference Speaker Nancy Pelosi's move to get assurances about the nuclear codes in the days after the January 6 MAGA riot.

'The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night,' they write.

'Recent Democrat leadership's inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command.'

The group pledged to support and defend the Constitution of the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic.'

The signatories of the letter attached their names to the letter. Among them was Maj. Gen. Joe Arbuckle, who served in Vietnam and later commanded the US Army Industrial Operations Command (IOC) at Rock Island, Illinois.

Other signers of the anti-Biden letter included include Vice Adm. John Poindexter, who was convicted in the Iran-Contra Affair.

Also signing on was Army Brig. Gen. Don Bolduc, who lost the Republican primary in 2020 to challenge Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, and is planning another Senate run.

Arbuckle, who organized the effort, told Politico: 'Retired generals and admirals normally do not engage in political actions, but the situation facing our nation today is dire.'

He continued: 'We are facing threats greater than at any other time since our country was founded. To remain silent would be a dereliction of duty.'

Ex-Maldives president flown to Germany after assassination attempt

Former Maldives president Mohamed Nasheed, who was seriously wounded in an assassination attempt, was flown to Germany Thursday, May 13, for treatment, officials said.

The 53-year-old was the target of a remote-controlled bomb rigged to a motorbike one week ago in the capital Male.

He underwent 16 hours of surgery to remove shrapnel from his liver, lungs and abdomen. The hospital discharged him Thursday, clearing the way for a medical evacuation to Germany.

An ambulance surrounded by heavy security took Nasheed to the airport where a special flight was waiting.

Hospital employees posted a photo of Nasheed on social media in a blue medical jacket posing with four staff members.

Nasheed thanked the staff in his first Twitter comment since the May 6 attack.

Nasheed said: "A special thanks to the health sector of the Maldives. By the grace of Allah, I remain committed to delivering democratic good governance for the people."

Police have arrested three men in connection with the attack, which they said was linked to Islamic extremism.

There has been no claim of responsibility but Nasheed’s Maldivian Democratic Party has said religious extremists and political interests could be involved.

Ortom: Anyone Against Southern Governors' Resolve Has Hidden Agenda
User Avatar Forum: General Discussion
Posted by: Edoman - 05-14-2021, 06:22 AM - No Replies

Quote:Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom says any Nigerian opposed to the position of Southern Governors regarding the ban on open grazing of cattle has a hidden agenda.

Governor Ortom spoke on Thursday at the Holy Ghost Parish Hall, Makurdi during an address on the occasion of ‘Media Week and Communications Day 2021’, organised by the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi.

He noted that his colleagues from the Southern part of the country had towed the right path towards addressing insecurity in Nigeria, stressing that open grazing was no longer feasible in the country due to development and population growth.

Governor Ortom said Nigeria is a great country with great potentials and should, ordinarily, have no business with poverty if only there was guaranteed security for lives and property and the people are allowed to remain stable in their localities to explore opportunities in farming and other ventures.

The Governor expressed appreciation to the Church and Muslims, as well as residents and citizens of the state for remaining supportive of his administration.

He also acknowledged the good reportage of government policies and programmes by the Directorate of Social Communication, Catholic Diocese of Makurdi and all the media groups in Benue, pointing out that his administration would always welcome constructive criticism.

The Governor who hinted at his administration’s plans to commence teaching of vernacular in schools in the next academic session said children must be trained and supported to inculcate reading in them, even as he described communication as key in the society.

Catholic Bishop of Makurdi Diocese, Most Reverend Wilfred Anagbe stated that social communication was meant to uplift humanity and society, stressing that it is a positive aspect of the reality of life and not the other way round.

Bishop Anagbe who advocated for the teaching of history and vernacular in primary and secondary schools in the state said language defines a man and so should not be allowed to go extinct.

Daily Devotional for Friday 14th May

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

FRIDAY 14TH MAY.

THERE’S MORE GRACE FOR YOU

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble (James 4:6).

There’re those who think what they need is a double or more anointing. But there’s no place in the Word of God where we’re admonished to ask for more or double anointing; what God gives is more grace. The life that He’s brought us into is one of grace to grace (John 1:16); grace heaped upon grace.

It’s amazing how some people outrightly ignore or don’t recognize the grace of God. There’s so much grace that you can take advantage of. But grace must be recognized, celebrated and used. Think about it: God’s throne is called “The throne of grace” (Hebrews 4:16). It says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

In other words, you can “take” whatever grace you require. You have to determine which grace you need, because there’re several different “graces.” Is it the grace for soul winning, or giving (2 Corinthians 8:6-7 NIV)? Which grace do you want?

This is a special season in God’s calendar; He’s releasing more grace! Take advantage of that special grace even now for your work, your family, your finances, leadership, etc. Do you realize it requires grace to deal with certain people and handle certain situations?

There’re situations that you may not have been able to handle with your current level of grace. But with more grace, you can! That means the Lord is promoting you to the next level, with more grace for your new level. Receive more grace for these times, and walk in dominion and absolute victory and mastery over circumstances, by the power of the Holy Ghost. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

Dear Father, I thank you for the different graces available to me in Christ. I take advantage and make full proof of the special grace you’ve given me to be a success in life, my job, ministry, finances, and in soul winning. By your grace, I reign and rule over circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

#AFFIRMATIONTRAIN

I affirm that the Holy Spirit lives in the quarters of my heart; He is the fire and power of my life. His light blazes intensely in my heart, making the Father’s presence real to me, His passion aglow, and His purity aflame in my spirit.

Every good and perfect gift is from my Father; and by the Holy Spirit, my spiritual eyes are continually opened to recognize those resources, gifts, and talents the Father has placed at my disposal, so I could be a solution provider, both in my life and in the life of God’s people.

I am life-conscious; life works in me! Every fibre of my being, every bone of my body, and every cell of my blood is inundated with divine energy!

I will never be defeated because God is at work in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure. I am alive unto God; for greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Hallelujah!

Grace and peace are multiplied in my life. That grace working in me is the power of promotion, unending success, and an extraordinary life of excellence, victory, and dominion.

I take advantage of it now and always. I refuse anything and everything that is inconsistent with the Father’s perfect will for my life. Blessed be God. Hallelujah!

Buhari To Meet His Doctor During Official Trip To Paris On Saturday - SaharaReporters
User Avatar Forum: General Discussion
Posted by: Edoman - 05-13-2021, 02:29 PM - No Replies

Quote:President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Nigeria on Saturday for an official trip to Paris, the France capital.

SaharaReporters learnt from top sources that the President would be in Paris for at least four days, where he has also been scheduled to meet his doctor.

"Buhari will be heading to Paris for four days. He was planning to go to Kampala (Uganda) and travel to London, the United Kingdom, to see his doctors but they opted to meet him in Paris. He will be travelling on Saturday," a top source disclosed.

SaharaReporters had earlier today reported how Buhari planned to attend the inauguration of Uganda's tight-fist dictator, Yoweri Museveni, and from there let him visit the UK for treatment.

But the plan was later shelved and the decision to send Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to Uganda to represent Buhari was made at the last minute when it appeared that the UK trip was not feasible.

Top presidency sources had told this newspaper that Buhari's health, particularly his dementia, had deteriorated recently, and he was incoherent at the security chiefs' meetings in the last two weeks.

"Buhari had wanted to travel to go for Museveni's inauguration in Uganda and now use the opportunity to go to London but they changed the plans last minute and sent Osinbajo," a top source had revealed.

According to a release from the State House, Osinbajo would be joining several other Heads of State and Government for the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, May 12, at Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala, the nation's capital city.

The Vice President, who also participated at the resumed National Security Council meeting presided over by the President at the Presidential Villa, later travelled to Lagos State, where he attended another function.

"He departs Lagos this evening for Kampala and would be accompanied by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada, and the Special Adviser on Economic Matters to the President, Ambassador Adeyemi Dipeolu. He is expected back in the country later on Wednesday," the state House release reads.

Since he assumed office on May 29, 2015, Buhari has embarked on medical trips abroad at least five times, covering a period of no fewer than 170 days of the five years he had been in power.

The following is a timeline of the President's trips for medical treatment; on February 5 to 10, 2016, the President took a six-day vacation in the United Kingdom, saying that his doctors lived in England.

Between June 6 and 19, 2016, Buhari went on a 10-day medical trip to England for an ear infection surgery. He extended his trip by three days to rest.

On January 19, 2017, the President was back in London again on a medical vacation.

On February 5, 2017, he wrote to the National Assembly, seeking an extension of his London medical leave. Later on March 10, 2017, Buhari returned to Nigeria but didn't resume work immediately at Aso Villa.

The Presidency had claimed that "he was working from home." On May 7, 2017, Buhari embarked on a trip to London for another medical vacation. He returned after 104 days – the longest he had stayed outside the country.

On August 19, 2017, Buhari returned to Nigeria, and it took him a while to resume work because rats had reportedly damaged furniture in his office.

The Presidency had announced that he would be working from home. On May 8, 2018, Buhari went to London for a four-day "medical review."

On April 26, 2019, Buhari again left for the UK on a 10-day private visit to seek medical care. He came back to the country on May 5.

In 2020, Buhari had not minimised his foreign medical trips to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the global lockdown and strain on medical facilities.

Also, from March 30 to April 6 2021, the President embarked on another trip for a routine medical check-up in London.

“We arrested persons with fake army uniforms carrying 18 AK-47 rifles and handed them over to the police.

However, the police hierarchy gave express order that those persons should be released and their guns handed back to them.
We want to let the world know that if there is a break down of law and order tomorrow, the police should be held responsible.

A source who was privy to the incident said the deceased could have been mistaken for a security operative due to the Man O'War uniform he wore. .

The fiancée who is said to have been unstable since the incident occurred, told people that Wole was immediately shot when the suspected assailants saw the uniform vest on him.

“What happened was that, on Monday, the guy (Oke) took his fiancé from Igboora to the lady’s town somewhere in either Iganna or Iwere-Ile. He took her on his bike. By the time he was leaving, he was wearing his Man O’War uniform because he just left the meeting. He had a short on (Man O’War uniform) and a black round neck with the Man O’War logo and ‘Security’ inscription at the back," a source told Vanguard.

"As he leaves around past 6 PM, they flashed him and he thought they were policemen and he stopped. As he stopped, maybe they thought he was an OPC or Vigilante member based on his dressings and immediately they released bullets on him and he died. They didn’t even steal anything from him. They didn’t take his phone, or his money, or even his bike, they just killed him. It was the lady who gave the account of what happened but the lady didn’t return to Igboora.”

The corpse was initially deposited at Iganna Police Station before it was handed over to the family on Wednesday for burial.

Ministers, National Assembly members, federal appointees and other Very Important Personalities (VIPs) from the Southeast and Southsouth may not be accompanied by police escort while travelling home following the increased attacks against security agents.

The Nation reported that the signal which emanated from the Delta State Police Command, have been endorsed by police authorities.

Police officers were advised not to accompany their principals to Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, and Rivers states until the security situation improves.

In the wireless message with the reference CB: 0900/DTS/DOPS/VOL.47/812X and title “Attack on policemen, snatching of rifles by IPOB”, the Chief Security Officer, Government House; Chief Superintendent of Police, Department of Operations, Delta Oil Producing Areas Development Commission; Delta House of Assembly; Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) annex and many others were copied.

It read;

Quote:“Sequel to the incessant attacks on policemen and snatching of arms and ammunition by the proscribed IPOB/ESN (Eastern Security Network) elements in the Eastern states of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo States and Rivers State, COMPOL DOPS directs you warn personnel that escort of their principals to the six eastern states is suspended forthwith until the security situation improves. Ensure strict compliance, please.”

Force Public Relation Officer, Frank Mba who disclosed that the signal originated from Delta State Command and was issued on the authority of the Commissioner of Police in Delta, said the step was taken to save the lives of the officers and their principals from gunmen.

Mba said;

Quote:“That signal did not come from Force Headquarters, so it is not a nationwide directive.

“Any reasonable person will understand that this is a very good directive.
“The Commissioner of Police acted within his powers and he gave the directives to cure certain mischief.”

The police spokesperson also disclosed that premilinary investigation has revealed that members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN) are behind the April 5 attack on the Imo Police Command even though they've denied it.

Mba added;

Quote: “Preliminary investigations have revealed that the attackers, who came in their numbers with sophisticated weapons such as general-purpose machine guns (GPMGs), sub-machine guns (SMGs), AK49 rifles, rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), improvised explosive devices (IEDs), are members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)/Eastern Security Network (ESN).”

We Will Keep Baba Ijesha Until JUSUN Resumes, Police Tell Protesters
User Avatar Forum: Other Stories
Posted by: Edoman - 05-13-2021, 08:34 AM - No Replies

Quote:The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has said the continuous detention of Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, is based on legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions in the state Ministry of Justice.

He also said the actor would not be released until the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria called off its nationwide strike and the courts resumed so that he could be arraigned.

Odumosu stated these in reaction to Wednesday’s protest by Omiyinka’s colleague, Yomi Fabiyi, and others, who demonstrated at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba, to demand his release on bail.

He said based on the legal advice, a prima facie case had been established against Omiyinka, adding that the thespian’s continued detention was based on the DPP’s advice.

Odumosu said, “When they got the SCIID today (Wednesday), they were advised by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the SCIID, and he told them that we have done our work and sought legal advice from the Ministry of Justice and the advice was that we should still keep him in our custody.

“When we concluded our investigation, we forwarded our report to the ministry for legal advice. The ministry advised us through the Office of the Public Defender. The legal advice was that there was a prima facie case established against him and some sections of the law were quoted in the advice. So, the advice was that he should still remain in our custody and to be charged for that.”

Odumosu said the ministry might review its position concerning Omiyinka’s detention if the JUSUN strike continues indefinitely, adding that a new arrangement had been made in the state for courts to sit three times a week.

The CP said, “Regarding the JUSUN strike, they agreed to be working for three days and striking for two days. They will go on strike on Monday and Tuesday, while the courts will sit on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

“It was our hope that they would work on Wednesday, but coincidentally, Wednesday and Thursday are public holidays. But if the courts continue to remain shut, the Ministry of Justice may further review the report. But right now, we are relying on the advice of the ministry.”

Omiyinka has been in detention since he was arrested for alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl, who is in the care of a comedienne, Adekola Adekoya, aka Princess.

During the demonstration on Wednesday, the protesters demanded that Omiyinka should be released on bail.

Fabiyi, who led the demonstration, said he was not in support of the allegations levelled against Omiyinka, but noted that what he was clamouring for was for his fundamental human rights to be respected.

He also condemned re-traumatising the victim in a bid to gather evidence, explaining that such a measure would have negative implications on society.

Addressing the protesters, DCP Adegoke Fayoade, who is in charge of the SCIID, stated that the ongoing strike by judiciary workers had impeded Baba Ijesha’s arraignment.

“Baba Ijesha’s case, as we are aware, has gone to the DPP. And the DPP has advised us on what to do. What we are waiting for is for the courts to resume; as soon as the courts resume, we will arraign him,” he said.

Why Obaseki Wants PDP Exco Dissolved, Ex-Edo APC Chair, Ojezua As New Chairman
User Avatar Forum: General Discussion
Posted by: Edoman - 05-13-2021, 08:23 AM - No Replies

Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos

Quote:The crisis rocking Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is centred on moves by Governor Godwin Obaseki to ensure his own man becomes the state chairman of the party, Daily Independent has exclusively gathered.

Chairman of Edo State PDP, Anthony Aziegbemi, had on Tuesday petitioned Prince Uche Secondus, the PDP national chairman, to stop Governor Obaseki from carrying out his alleged plan to dissolve the state executive.

After an emergency and expanded State Working Committee meeting at the weekend, Aziegbemi and Secretary, Hillary Otsu, resolved to petition the national leadership of the party on the need to stop dissolution of the party Exco.

The aggrieved Exco that said if Obaseki wanted to harmonise PDP in the state, as he claimed, it should start from his office, also demanded replacement of the Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, and Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Osarodion Ogie, with original PDP members.

Credible sources, who are knowledgeable about the rift between the governor and the Edo State PDP executive led by its chairman, Anthony Aziegbemi, said the governor wants the current executive dissolved and a new election conducted, a position the PDP leadership in the state is vehemently opposed to.

According to them, Obaseki who is not comfortable with the present PDP leadership in the state is desirous of having Anselm Ojezua, former All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Edo, as the new PDP chairman in the state.

Ojezua, a fiercely loyal supporter of Obaseki defected from the APC to PDP in December 2020 with over 150,000 members. He cited loss of confidence in APC national leadership and alleged disobedience to the party’s constitution as his reasons for leaving.

Speaking with Daily Independent on Wednesday, one of the leaders said Obaseki who is now the leader of PDP in Edo State by virtue of his position wants his men to be in charge of the party affairs.

“Yes, the governor wrote to the PDP national leadership asking for a dissolution of the current executive and a fresh election to be conducted. The reason he gave was that there were too many factions in the party.

“But the truth is that the current PDP leadership led by Aziegbemi knows that if a fresh election is to be conducted today, they stand no chance of returning because whoever is the candidate of the governor will win. From feelers we are getting, Governor Obaseki wants Anselm Ojezua who stood by him through thick and thin in APC and has even joined him in PDP as the new chairman of the party (PDP) in Edo State.

“From the look of things, the governor is gaining the upper hand, because key leaders of the PDP in Edo such as Chief Tom Ikimi, Mike Oghiadomhe and Charles Idahosa are on the same page with him,” our source said.

Efforts to confirm the development from Governor Obaseki proved abortive as our correspondent gathered that he is yet to appoint a media aide since his reelection.

Also a message sent to him was not replied to as at the time of going to press.

However, speaking with Daily Independent, Chief Charles Idahosa confirmed that the PDP faction loyal to Governor Obaseki has written to the national body of the PDP to dissolve the current Exco and conduct a fresh election in order to allow for harmonisation of the various factions.

He said Aziegbemi and other members of the Exco are free to contest again if they so desire.

Giving reasons for their decision, Idahosa said all the APC members who joined the PDP with Governor Obaseki, including himself, were shut out by the PDP members.

He said, “Since we joined PDP, we have been having problems. All the people that came with us from APC are not holding any position. They said they already constituted their Exco, but what about our people that came? In other words, I, Charles Idahosa, cannot produce a councillor in my ward. The governor from Ward 4 in Oredo cannot produce a councilor because the delegates that will choose councillorship candidates are all PDP.

“No person that came with Obaseki from APC to PDP can have any political ambition to be anything. That is why we are saying let’s harmonise. Funny enough, this thing has a precedent.

“Obaseki is not the first governor to leave APC for PDP. When Aminu Tambuwal left APC for PDP in Sokoto, they said you are the governor, you are bringing us power. The PDP gave him 60-40 sharing formula. That is 60 percent of the executives from the ward and they will take 40 percent.

“The same thing happened when Samuel Ortom left APC for PDP in Benue. But in the case of Edo, they are just greedy. They did not come with a single House of Assembly member. Out of the 18 local government areas in the state, they did not come with a single chairman. Out of the 192 wards, they did not have a single councilor and these were the issues I raised at that meeting.

“All these people came with Obaseki from APC to PDP. But Obaseki said we should carry everybody along and we said okay. At the end of the day, they are still refusing to let our people in and they keep saying we will bridge the gap.

“We on our part said, let’s harmonise. If it is 60-40, 70- 30 or 55-45 sharing formula, let’s agree. You can see the lame excuse they are giving. They are talking about SSG. Yet, this same people will come to Government House and say we are not interested in SSG and Chief of Staff positions because they are personal to you.

“Now the governor said I want to form a cabinet, how do I do it? Chief Ikimi now said, if we say 60-40 sharing formula, if the governor takes his 60 percent, how are we going to share the 40 percent, because we have factions?

“In my local government area, the PDP has three factions. One single person will just handpick all the party executives and the rest will be looking. So, we said enough is enough! We are going to write to the national leadership because the governor of the state by the PDP constitution is the leader of the party.”

Nationwide blackout: Power grid collapses again

A blackout is currently being witnessed across the country today May 12, following the collapse of the national power grid.

Power generation dropped to 260 megawatts (MW) and and real-time power grid records by the Independent System Operations (ISO) section of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), showed that none of the over 20 generation Companies (GenCos) produced energy as at 1pm.

Though what led to the collapse of the national grid is still unclear, the peak power generation as at Tuesday May 11 was 4,757MW, while the lowest generation was 3,976MW. While 101,605 megawatts hour (MWH) energy was generated, consumers through the 11 Distribution Companies (DisCos) utilised 99,955MWH.

By Wednesday afternoon May 12, only five of the 11 DisCos had slight energy allocation while the six others had no energy to supply to their customers across the states.

Kaduna Electric Head of Corporate Communication, Abdulazeez Abdullahi confirmed the collapse of the national grid in a statement released on Wednesday. He said;

Quote:“Dear esteemed customers, we regret to inform you that the power outage currently being experienced across our franchise – Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states – is as a result of the collapse of the national grid.

“The collapse occurred at about 11:01 am this morning. Power supply shall be restored across our franchise as soon as the grid is restored by the TCN team."

The issue is currently being worked on as confirmed by the ISO online monitor.

NDLEA arrests former Local Government Vice Chairman with cocaine concealed in pairs of slippers at Lagos airport

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a former Vice Chairman of Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Asekun Kehinde Sakiru.

Asekun was nabbed by NDLEA operatives at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos, with cocaine concealed in pairs of slippers.

Spokesman of the of the anti-narcotics agency, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Wednesday, May 12, stated that Sakiru is a ''notorious drug baron,'' who has been on the wanted list of the agency since the arrest of some traffickers and drug seizures linked to him.

Babafemi said the long arm of the law caught up with the suspect at about 9.40pm on Friday 7th May, 2021 while trying to board a Virgin Atlantic airline flight to London, United Kingdom at the Lagos airport.

At the point of his arrest, Asekun was caught with a kilogramme of cocaine concealed in five pairs of palm slippers packed inside his suitcase. He has been on the wanted list of the MMIA Command of the Agency in connection to a case involving one Azeez Adeniyi Ibrahim who was arrested with 6.45kg of cocaine in December, 2020.

During preliminary investigation, it was gathered that the London based suspect was at different times between 2004 and 2014 the vice chairman of Lagos Island East LCDA. He had also contested and lost elections for House of Representatives in 2007 and Lagos State House of Assembly in 2015.

Although, he claims to be an international businessman who deals in automobiles, investigation is yet to confirm that to be the source of his acquired wealth.

In the course of tracking him, the sum of N131million was seized from his account and another N14 million also blocked in the account of one of his traffickers, Azeez Adeniyi Ibrahim, bringing the total sum so far recovered from him to N145 million.

While commending the officers and men of the MMIA Command of the Agency for resilience and dedication to duty, Chairman of NDLEA, Brig. General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) said with the support of all stakeholders, the problem of drug trafficking and abuse in Nigeria will be drastically reduced very soon.

"This arrest is yet another message and red alert to those still in this criminal trade whether as barons or traffickers that they will soon enter the dragnet of the Agency, daily being spread across the country, if they fail to back out especially now that we are moving all out for the barons and the big cartels while we continue to reign in the traffickers, Gen. Marwa stated.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

THURSDAY 13TH MAY.

LOVE IN HIS VOICE

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left (Isaiah 30:21).

The Lord Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). So, you can’t miss the voice of God talking to you. There’s one distinguishing element in His voice that makes it unmistakable: Love!

Let’s review His love-nature, as penned for us in the Scriptures. 1 John 4:7-8 says, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” Verse 16 further tells us, “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”

These verses reveal that love is the totality of God’s nature. This is much more than someone having love in his heart or the ability to love; rather, it means God is love personified. He’s not a God of love; He is love.

Everything He does is from His love-nature. Therefore, whenever He speaks, you’ll always hear the voice of love. Even His reprimands and judgments are in love. Everything about Him emanates from love. That’s why, when God talks to you, if you aren’t rebellious, you’ll always hear Love’s voice in your spirit.

As an offspring of Love, you have it in you to respond to Love; to hear and respond to Him in love. The Bible tells us, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us” (1 John 4:18-19).

PRAYER

I respond to the voice of God in my spirit that emanates from His love-nature, in His instruction, directions, correction and reprimands. Also, His love is expressed through me today; my communication, actions and all that emanate from me are expressions of the love-nature of Christ that’s in my spirit. Hallelujah!

#AFFIRMATIONTRAIN

I affirm that I am the light of the world, a city set on a hill to bring illumination to my world. The glory and righteousness of Christ are manifested in and through me; I walk in prosperity and blessings, soundness of mind and body.

I dwell in the Kingdom of God’s love-Son, wherein is no darkness at all; I’m reigning in union with the Lord, enjoying my blessed life in Christ. Hallelujah!
Life is not mysterious unto me; for I’ve received abundance of grace, and of the gift of righteousness.

I produce excellent results by God’s grace that is super-abundant on my life, causing everything I do to prosper. I am alive to God, to His wisdom, righteousness, love, and grace; His beauty, glory, and goodness are released through me in increasing measure today.

I live and walk in righteousness; Satan has nothing in me, because in Christ Jesus my Lord, I’ve been justified from all things from which I couldn’t be justified by the Law of Moses.

Today and always, I walk conscious of the Father’s nature in me. Sin has no dominion over me. I walk in perfection and excellence, producing works and fruits of righteousness.

The Word of God has the mastery over my mind, and I have the victory over sin and its attendant consequences. I live triumphantly, walking in righteousness and in the wisdom of Christ. Blessed be God!

Comedian AY Makun has called out actress Victoria Inyama days after "she preached on the need for people to watch the words that come out of their mouths".

The comedian who shared screenshots of Inyama's post and comments, noted that she advised people on how not to mock a pain they've not experienced in her post, before publicly commenting on a blog "without watching her mouth on a pain he prays she doesn't experience."

AY wrote;

Noting that such accusations could ruin lives, the comedian advised social media users to always be sure of what they are talking about online. He also asked others to never assume that everything they see online is true, especially when they never witnessed it.

He wrote;

Times are hard in Nigeria and we know a whole lot of People are not happy with their lives, so they usually have all the time in the world to discuss yours.

Apart from all the social media entertainment, please know this today, accusations can ruin lives, so before you accuse and condenm, you better know what you are talking about. If you didn't witness it yourself, then don't assume everything you hear to be true.Only a fool speaks without having all the facts.

It's sickening to know that they are people who damage your reputation by making up lies about you just for fun/entertainment. The pathetic part is that so many people believe them without finding out the truth. More so people who naturally don't like you would also never want to hear the truth because they don't want their illusions destroyed.

The moon was sighted - Sheik Bauchi explains why he defied Sultan's directive and held Eid prayers on Wednesday

Sheik Dahiru Bauchi has explained why he decided to hold Eid Prayers on Wednesday May 12, against the directive of the Sultan of Sokoto for the prayers to hold on Thursday May 13.

The Sultan who is recognised as the spiritual head of Muslims in the country, had declared Thursday, May 13, 2021 as the day of Salat and the first day of Shawwal on grounds of the moon not being sighted.

However Sheikh Bauchi who held prayers at his residence, said the moon of the month of Shawwal was sighted in Gombe, Gadau and Kebbi on Tuesday May 11.

He said;

Quote:“Based on these reports that the moon was sighted, what is said by two righteous people when they see it is enough for us people, or a large crowd.
“That is why we have now come to perform the Eid prayers because the month of Ramadan is over, the month of Shawwal has arrived.”

Former Zimbabwean First Lady, Grace Mugabe summoned for 'improperly' burying her husband Robert Mugabe

Former Zimbabwean First Lady, Grace Mugabe has been summoned by traditional ruler Chief Zvimba, to explain why she "improperly" buried her husband and former President Robert Mugabe at his rural home in Zvimba.

Mugade died in Singapore in September 2019. However after a protracted wrangle between his family and the government, he was finally buried at his home village in Kutama, Zvimba in Mashonaland West.

The government had wanted to bury Mugabe at the National Heroes Acre in Harare, but his family turned down the offer, arguing that Mugabe had made it explicitly clear that he did not wish to be interred at the national shrine. He is reported to have been bitter at the way he was ousted in the November 2017 military intervention.

Grace has now been accused of committing a taboo by burying the deceased Robert Gabriel Mugabe in a house which is a violation of the culture of the Zvimba people.

In the summons which were served on Grace Mugabe, Chief Zvimba fined her 5 beasts and one goat for going against cultural and traditional rites by burying Mugabe at his homestead. She is supposed to appear at the traditional court on May 20, 2021.

It read;

Quote:You are being summoned to appear before Chief Zvimba’s Court at Gonzo Guzha Hall, Murombedzi Growth Point on 20 May 2021 at 0930 over the following allegations.
a. You’re accused of committing a taboo by burying the deceased Robert Gabriel Mugabe in a house which is a violation of the culture of the Zvimba people. You also let Robert Gabriel Mugabe’s clothes/properties scatter.
b) All of Rober Gabriel Mugabe’s clothes/properties must be gathered and stored properly at the deceased’s house following our culture as the Zvimba people.
c) I also want the deceased – Robert Mugabe- to be reburied according to the culture of the Zvimba people at a place chosen by his relatives and mother.
d) For the above-mentioned violations, you are, therefore, required to pay 5 beasts and one goat.
1) You are allowed to bring witnesses and evidence to the court.
2) If you fail to attend the hearing without permission from the court, the court will rule in favour of the applicant.
3) If you want clarity on the matter, approach the court on the date set for the hearing.

Southern Governors Ban Open Grazing, Call For National Dialogue

#Southern #Nigeria #Governors ban open grazing of cattle across the three regions, call on Federal Government to convoke a national dialogue as a matter of urgency...

Read the Communiqué issued at the end of their meeting held at Delta State Government House, Asaba, on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, for details.

#EnuguStateIsInTheHandsOfGod
#amokelouis

Quote:ASABA- Southern Governors Forum (SGF), has yesterday resolved on immediate ban of open grazing across the Southern part of Nigeria as they requested for a national dialogue on restructuring.

The meeting which was held yesterday in Asaba had in attendance 15 Governors from South- West, South-East, South- South, including two Deputy Governors from Imo and Akwa Ibom State while two others Governors of Cross Rivers and Osun State were absent.

Reading the 12 point communique on behalf of the 17 Governors after a closed door meeting in Asaba, Chairman of Southern Governors Forum, Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu urged the President to address the Nation over the Insecurity challenge in view to regain trust of the people.

“It is observed that the incursion of armed robbers, criminals and bandits into Southern part of the country has presented a severe security challenge such that citizens are not able to love their normal lives”.

They consequently resolved against open grazing or cattle in the Southern Nigeria as they called on Federal Government to develop alternative and modern livestock management systems.

“We noted that development and population growth has put pressure on available land and increased the prospects of conflict between migrating herders and local population in the South. Give this scenario, it becomes imperative to enforce the ban on open grazing in the South ( including cattle movement to the South by foot)”.

While attributing the current agitation among several quarter of the country to greater need for inclusiveness in governance, they stressed the urgent need for national dialogue.

“The progress of the nation requires that urgent and bold steps be taken to restructure the Nigeria Federation leading to evolution of state police, review of revenue allocation formula in favor of the sub -national government and creation of other institutions which legitimately advance our commitment to the true practice of federalism”.

Hence, they expressed concern on the economic implications of another lockdown on the country.

“We suggest greater coordination and cooperation between Federal and State Governments in evolving strategies for dealing with the pandemic.”

Police Officers Beat Nursing Mother To Stupour In Abuja

SAD!!! Policemen Beat Nursing Mother to Stupour (Photo) | #IgbereTV

Quote:Policemen attached to Nyanya Police Station, Abuja Municipal Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory on Friday beat Helen Abubakar, a 26-year-old nursing mother to Stupour, Igbere TV has learnt.

According to FIJ, Helen Abubakar, was dragged on the floor by the police officers for asking to see the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of the station.

Helen was at the police station to see her brother-in-law who was arrested and detained after he was caught with N1,000 notes some customers paid him with at the lounge where he worked.

Trouble began when Helen asked to speak with the DPO over the man’s continued detention after the real perpetrators of the crime had been found, arrested and released.

“When I got to the police station, I asked what it would take to bail him, but they ignored me. Then I asked for the people that gave him the fake naira notes and learnt that they had been released. If the real perpetrators of the crime had been bailed why couldn’t we bail our own person?” she told FIJ.

“I asked if it was because the court was on strike, and then they became angry. They asked who I was to ask them to take a case to court. They said they wouldn’t even allow his bail anymore and asked if I knew the road to court. I said I would call a lawyer friend and then a police officer moved closer and started pushing me.

“The DCO1 came and asked me to narrate what happened. While I was trying to explain to him, the other officers came and started harassing me verbally. So I told them I wanted to see the DPO. At that point the DCO1 whom I had thought was a responsible man pushed and hit me. The other officers then pounced on me and started beating me. When I pulled my hair from the DCO1’s hands, the beating increased. They asked who I was to say I wanted to see the DPO. A police woman joined them. She even bit me on the back.”

Helen said the beating and dragging was so much that she felt she was going to die. By the time they finished with her, she was already so weak. She landed at the Nyanya General Hospital, where she was treated that night.

Although the Public Complaints Unit of the Nigeria Police Force reached out to her after the story was shared on the social media, Helen said she was yet to get justice.

While speaking with FIJ on Sunday, she said police officers at the Nyanya Police Station falsely accused her of slapping a senior police officer and had refused to apologize to her for the assault.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES,

WEDNESDAY 12TH MAY 2021.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

TOPIC: MAKE IMPACT WITH YOUR GIVING

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field (Matthew 13:44).

In the Kingdom of God’s dear Son where you now live, all your resources, including your home, finances, and your physical body are all kingdom property. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 makes it clear; it says, “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price….”

You’re the temple of God, and the temple sanctifies all things that are brought into it. Everything that’s brought to the temple is different from the things outside the temple. When money comes to you, for example, it becomes Kingdom-money, one sanctified for the Master’s use and glory. Until you recognize this, your money won’t be different from the money of the sinners, and what happens to their money will happen to yours.

2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMPC) declares: “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].”

In this Kingdom, your greatness never diminishes, for He brought you into a life of ever-increasing glory, ever-increasing faith and ever-increasing grace. 2 Corinthians 9:10 says, _*“Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.”*_ Make impact for the Kingdom through your giving and watch your life blossom in righteousness.

CONFESSION

What an honour to be a financier of the Gospel; I invest wisely and rightly as I give for the expansion of God’s Kingdom and spread of His righteousness all over the world. Through my giving, my righteousness is established and God channels blessings to me from everywhere. Hallelujah!*

FURTHER STUDY:

2 Corinthians 8:9-10 AMPC
For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied). 10 [It is then] my counsel and my opinion in this matter that I give [you when I say]: It is profitable and fitting for you [now to complete the enterprise] which more than a year ago you not only began, but were the first to wish to do anything [about contributions for the relief of the saints at Jerusalem].

2 Corinthians 9:7-10 AMPC
Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving]. 8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. 9 As it is written, He [the benevolent person] scatters abroad; He gives to the poor; His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever! 10 And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].

#TALKINGSESSION

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the nations of the world are opened unto me. The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our God, and of his Christ. I am reigning in righteousness; thus, no weapon formed against me shall prosper.

I dwell in the secret place of the most High, and function with the ability of the Spirit always. I declare that the Lord is my source; I am plugged into God’s supply system.

I am an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ; I am plugged to an unending supply. I refuse to think or talk lack; for I am the seed of Abraham. I consciously take my eyes away from men, my job or business, and focus on God; for He is my source.

I focus on Him and not the channels, for He’s orchestrating things to my favour and sees to it that I walk continually in abundance. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

I declare that all grace; every favour and earthly blessing is mine in abundance, that I may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need, be self-sufficient; possessing enough to require no aid or support, and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.

I have unlimited access to God’s inexhaustible riches. Thank You dear Father, for You liberally supply my every need according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

You’re my source; wealth and honour come from You alone. Your divine power has given me everything I require for life and godliness. I am plugged into a nonstop supply system, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Hallelujah!

Boko Haram Distributes Ramadan Packages, Cash To Borno, Yobe Residents (photos)
User Avatar Forum: General Discussion
Posted by: Edoman - 05-11-2021, 03:57 PM - No Replies

Quote:Militants from the Islamic State-backed faction of Boko Haram, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), formerly known as Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād have distributed Ramadan welfare packages to some residents of Borno and Yobe states.
SaharaReporters gathered that the package distributed by the insurgents included rice, beans, millet, maize, sugar, spageheti and cash gifts.

A security source said the gesture was to induce the villagers to join the group’s ranks as militants. “Imagine, they (insurgents) claimed that the gesture was aimed at assisting villagers to perform Ramadan fast and Sallah with ease and happiness, the same villagers they killed their friends and family members,” the source said.

A 2019 report by the International Crisis Group, a non-profit think tank, observed that ISWAP’s approach to recruiting new fighters proved effective.

Despite breaking away from the Abubakar Shekau-led Boko Haram faction in 2016, the population of its fighters had roughly doubled those of the latter according to estimates.

“Although its leadership has been largely ethnic Kanuri, ISWAP has recruited significantly among lacustrine communities, notably the ethnic Buduma, many of whom earn a living from fishing,” the group wrote.

The Institute for Security Studies (ISS) has made similar observations.

“As part of this approach, the ideological aspect of the crisis must be dealt with. The ability of the group to recruit is one of the biggest reasons for its expansion, and so a deeper understanding of its recruitment patterns and operating mechanisms is crucial,” ISS senior researcher Remadji Hoinathy warned in May 2019.

Often ISWAP exploits gaps in governance by trying to prove that it can provide essential services in the areas under its control.

BUHARI’S DEMENTIA GONE BAD, UK DOCTORS WANT HIM TO RESIGN

May 11, 2021

Doctors in the United Kingdom, UK, who attended to President Mohammadu Buhari during his last medical visit to the UK have advised the

President to resign and take care of his “terribly bad dementia.”

A close source to Mamman Daura, President Buhari’s nephew, told pointblanknews.com that the Doctors also suggested that if the President
cannot resign for Political reasons, he needs to take at least six months medical leave to attend to his failing health.

President Buhari had traveled to the UK on March 30, 2021 in what was described as a routine medical check. He returned to Nigeria April 15,
2021.

Upon arrival in UK, a source who confided in Pointblanknews.com said Doctors who were brought in to examine the President’s state of health, determined that his dementia has really gone bad and would need time in the hospital to receive adequate care.

“The Doctors were not happy when they spoke with Mamman Daura. They said his dementia has seriously deteriorated and that he would need to either resign or take a minimum of six months to attend to his health,” the source said.

The source who would not want to be named because of fear of attack told Pointblanknews.com that the Doctors also met with the Director General, Nigeria Intelligence Agency, NIA, Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, former DG, DSS, Lawan Daura, Sabiu Yusus aka Tunde and few others and told them to advice the President to resign or take a six-month leave.

Pointblanknews.com gathered that the Doctors were particularly shocked at how fast the President have lost his ability to respond to his
environment or carry out conversations or even remember things.

The source gave an example of the President not remembering the names of his Doctors, some of whom have been with him for years and his several
attempts at having a conversation but saying something else not related to the subject matter.

“Sometimes he talks and doesn’t know what he is saying and won’t remember anything you just told him. The Doctors noticed all that and that is why they suggested he resign because they feel he is not able to do a lot of things anymore.”

Pointblanknews.com learned that for Buhari to appear in public places of attend meetings, they must prepare his speeches, write then in very bold
font sizes, and ensure no one ask any question so as not to expose his condition.

“This is why the President would not address any meeting without a written speech, do a live broadcast, have any live interview or attend
to any public function. His condition is bad, but the cabal will not let him go, a Presidency source told Pointblanknews.com when this paper reached out to confirm the London Doctors opinion.

The President’s medical situation is why governance have been seized by a cabal allegedly led by Attorney General and Minister of justice,
Abubakar Malami, Sabiu and Mamman Daura.

Pointblanknews.com had reported that while Buhari was in the UK for his medical vacation, for days, protesters continued to picket the Nigerian
Embassy in London and the Nigeria House where the President was observing his medical vacation, frustrating efforts of medical personnel from attending to him.

This paper had also reported that the president is suffering pains from the kidney surgical transplant he had, Dementia and Alzheimer.

The president is a frequent flier to the UK where his doctors routinely check him or treat him.

Insecurity: ''If the president can’t deliver, he should be impeached''- NEF spokesperson Hakeem Baba-Ahmed

The spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, says President Buhari should be impeached if he cannot solve Nigeria’s insecurity problem.

Speaking on AIT’s programme on Monday May 10, Baba-Ahmed said the nation cannot wait two more years for President Buhari to address the issues of insecurity.

He said those who have constitutional responsibility must realise that the country is in a dire state, and do something other than just talking and making promises.

Quote:“The third option is that those leaders who are failing will recognize the fact that they are the problem, and they will resign because they clearly have nothing to offer in terms of leadership.

Or, as our democratic system provides, those with the responsibility to get them off, should impeach those who are failing. If the president can’t deliver, he should be impeached.

We don’t have a national assembly that appears to have the levels of patriotism and concern beyond partisan politics to realise that when this roof falls, it also falls on their heads.

Partisanship is so pronounced that the people we elected and sent to Abuja think they serve the president rather than the Nigerian people.”he said

Trigger-happy soldier allegedly kills fruit vendor in Zamfara for refusing to give him free bunch of bananas

A fruit vendor identified as Abdulkadir Musa, was allegedly shot dead by a soldier in Gusau, the Zamfara state capital, after he refused to allow the suspect leave without paying for a bunch of banana.

The incident which happened along Aebasu Road, Gusau Bypass, on Sunday, May 9, was said to have led to protest by angry youths, who blocked roads and burnt tyres.

Narrating how the incident happened, the father of the deceased, Alhaji Mustafa Musa, told PUNCH that two soldiers went to his son’s fruits stand and bought a bunch of bananas.

According to him, the soldiers paid for the bunch and tried to collect another one for free and this led to a squabble.

"They bought a bunch bananas for N300 and instead of them to take the one they paid for, they also took another one and wanted to go with it, but my son did not allow them to do so," he narrated.

"When they insisted that they must go with the bunch of bananas, the fruit vendor rushed to the police station, which was very close to the scene of the incident, and reported the case and the two soldiers were arrested, but they were released shortly after.”

Mustafa said that after the soldiers were released, one of them went home, fetched a gun and returned to the scene and shot the fruit vendor.

The grieving father said that he reported the issue to all relevant authorities, including the Human Rights Commission, so that action could be taken against the soldier, who killed his son.

"I have reported the case to the concerned authorities and I will not rest until the soldier is punished to serve as a deterrent to others,” Mustafa added.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Mohammed Shehu, who confirmed the incident, said they are investigating the issue.

Man jailed for 33 years for raping and infecting 9-year-old niece with HIV

A 24-year-old Zimbabwean man has been sentenced to 33 years in prison for raping hs 9-year-old grade-three niece and also infecting her with HIV.

The man who has been staying at the same house with his sister and her children, reportedly took advantage of his sister’s absence to rape his niece on multiple occasions between March and April.

The court heard that the pervert uncle would sneak into the room where his nieces were sleeping and would rape the 9-year-old. The 9-year-old shared the room with her younger sisters aged four and two.

The sad abuses was uncovered after the little girl refused to sleep in the room. When her older sister questioned about the reluctance, the 9-year-old revealed that the uncle was raping her.

The case was reported to the police and a medical test which was carried out thereafter, revealed that the minor has been infected with HIV.

When arraigned before Regional Magistrate Mr Christopher Maturure on two counts of raping his niece and one count of deliberately infecting her with HIV, the man pleaded not guilty and made a spirited attempt to deny the charges. However his subterfuge did not work, and the magistrate found him guilty after a full trial.

The magistrate had no kind words for the uncle who abused his position of trust to prey on his sister’s child. He said that his sentence should serve as a deterrence to other like-minded would-be offenders and sentenced him to 33 years in prison.

The Chronicle reported that Maturure said;

Quote:“Her life has totally changed because of your actions. For rape you are sentenced to 18 years and deliberately infecting the complainant, 15 years."

Update: Police never tortured Omolola Ejioye to death, he fell ill - CP Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has refuted claims of alleged torture and killing of Omolola Rotimi Ejioye, by policemen attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.

LIB reported that Ejioye, aka Eji, died in police custody on May 7, five days after he was allegedly arrested at Ladega area of Ikorodu.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, in a statement issued on Monday, May 10, said late Ejioye was not tortured to dead but died at Falomo Police Hospital, Ikoyi, where he was admitted after falling sick.

"The Lagos State Police Command has deemed it necessary to refute and clear the air on the alleged torture and killing of one Omolola Rotimi Ejioye, aka Eji, by the operatives of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba on Sunday 9th May, 2021, contrary to the news making waves on the social media," the Commissioner stated.

"The Command wishes to state in clear terms that a case of suspected murder was transferred from Ikorodu Division of Lagos State to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba-Lagos on 4th May, 2021 for discreet investigation. One Rotimi Omolola, the deceased, was equally brought along with the casefile and other suspects.

"On 7th May, 2021, at about 4am, the attention of the officers on duty at the State CID, Panti, was drawn to a strange behavior of the suspect, Omolola, suggesting an underlining illness and he was quickly rushed to Falomo Police Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos where he gave up the ghost while on admission.

"The corpse has been deposited at mortuary for the performance of Autopsy to ascertain the probable cause of death.

"The Command therefore urges the general public to disregard the fake, unfounded and mischievous news which has been in circulation by certain individuals to distort the fact and escalate misinformation on the incident, for reasons best known to them,"

CP Odumosu, while commiserating with the family of the deceased suspect, reiterated that the suspect was neither tortured nor maltreated by the police, at any point, despite his alleged involvement in the murder case under investigation.

The Commissioner of Police also reaffirmed and assured the general public that the Police Command, under his watch, will continually discharge its duties in line with the provisions of the law and kick against violation of human rights as well as abuse and misuse of power in the state.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES,

TUESDAY 11TH MAY 2021.

 Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

TOPIC: THE BLOOD AND THE TESTIMONY
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death_ (REVELATION 12:11).

The way to use the blood of Jesus against the adversary is taking the Communion, the breaking of bread and drinking of the cup in remembrance of Him. 1 Corinthians 11:26 says, “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.”

As you take the Communion, you’re proclaiming, speaking of, and shouting aloud, the Lord’s death and all the wonderful blessings of His redemptive work, consummated in your behalf, till He comes. Through His death, burial and resurrection, you were given a new life and brought into oneness with God.

Furthermore, when it says, “They overcame him by the word of their testimony,” the Greek word translated “testimony” is “marturia,” which means record. John used the same word in 1 John 5:11: “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” The saints overcame the enemy by declaring “the record”; that is, their testimony of eternal life.

What are your declarations today? Learn to say over and over again: “I have eternal life; I hail from God and His divine Kingdom. I’m a child of God, separated from sin, defeat, lack, sickness, oppression, and the world.” Hallelujah! You don’t belong in the land of failure. You have a right to divine protection, prosperity, victory, success, liberty, divine health and all the blessings of salvation. These should be the words of your testimony.

If you’d put the Word in your heart, and speak it forth with your mouth, you’ll always win. Keep affirming your triumphant life in Christ. Celebrate the life of liberty, victory, health and success that you have in Christ Jesus, whose body was broken for you, and His blood shed to bring you into sonship with God. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I testify of the great salvation, victories, triumphs, and wholeness I have in Christ. I celebrate the life of God in me; the liberty, victory, health and success I have in Christ Jesus, whose body was broken for me, and whose blood was shed that I may be one with the Father, with the right to enjoy all the blessings of salvation. Blessed be God!

FURTHER STUDY:

HEBREWS 13:5-6
[Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

REVELATION 12:11 AMPC
And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].

Bandits: We Receive Weapons From SSS Agents, Split Ransom Payments
User Avatar Forum: General Discussion

The bandits also said some police officers have been a part of the conspiracy that has fueled insecurity across Nigeria.

Quote:Armed bandits terrorising different parts of Nigeria have disclosed that they have been receiving arms and ammunition from operatives of the State Security Service and often split ransom payments received at gunpoint.

The criminals told Deutsche Welle in a recent report that they “borrow weapons” from the state agents and then go to work to share ill-gotten gains together.

The bandits also said some police officers have been a part of the conspiracy that has fueled insecurity across Nigeria which President Muhammadu Buhari has been accused of being too lazy to address.

A spokesman for the SSS did not return a request seeking comments from Peoples Gazette about whether or not the secret police was aware of a possible alliance between its officers and armed bandits wreaking havoc across the country.

The report surfaced amidst widespread claims that Nigerian security forces are fueling insecurity for financial benefits. In 2018, Theophilus Danjuma, a former chief of army staff, said the Nigerian military and other state agents were actively supplying weapons to violent criminals waging a war against minority rural settlers in Nigeria’s north-central.

The Buhari administration denied the allegation, but several indications have emerged repeatedly since then that appeared to show that the government was not as concerned about the raging crisis.

Last week, Mr Buhari warned Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue, where armed militia elements have killed thousands and razed hundreds of villages since Mr Buhari assumed power in 2015, to either accept the controversial ruga policy or continue to endure violence with his people.

Last month, Mr Buhari also stood Isa Pantami, one of his cabinet ministers who was recently exposed as a hardline jihadist and lover of Osama Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda and other groups and persons long associated with terrorism.

Hoodlums raze INEC office in Abia

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State has been set ablaze by hoodlums.

A statement released by the National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee Festus Okoye, today May 10, says the burnt office was recently renovated. The statement added further that this was not the first time the Commission’s office was attacked in the state lately.

The statement reads

Quote:“The Commission met today, Monday 10th May 2021, and discussed a wide-range of issues, including a disturbing report from Abia State. The Resident Electoral Commissioner for the State, Dr. Joseph Iloh, reported that INEC’s recently renovated office in Ohafia Local Government Area has been set ablaze.

The incident occurred late on Sunday night, 9th May 2021. There are no casualties on the part of our staff on guard duty but the building was virtually destroyed. Apart from furniture items, all electoral materials and office equipment were destroyed”, the statement read.
The matter has been reported to the police for investigation.

It will be recalled that only last week, the Commission reported an attack on its office in Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State and expressed anxiety about the impact of such attacks on electoral activities, including the ongoing expansion of voter access to Polling Units, resumption of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), pending bye-elections, end-of-tenure elections and ultimately the 2023 General Election.

The latest incident in Abia State is one too many. This is not the first attack on the Commission’s facilities in the State in recent times. Five months ago on 13th December 2020, the INEC LGA office in Aba South was completely burnt down while that of Arochukwu LGA was vandalised and ransacked in October 2020.

These facilities are national assets, which must be protected. Accordingly, the Commission is convening an emergency meeting of the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES) next week to discuss this disturbing trend.
Meanwhile, the Commission wishes to reassure Nigerians that all activities in relation to the ongoing expansion of voter access to Polling Units and preparations for the resumption of CVR as well as all scheduled elections will proceed as planned.”

Leader and Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Balogun Joshua popularly known as Prophet TB Joshua has released a video of a prophecy for Nigeria which he gave almost seven years ago.

The cleric who gave the prophecy on July 27, 2014, said Nigeria would be covered by a cloud of “crisis, murder, killings, destruction”, but would not break up.

TB Joshua warned members of the political class of impending repercussions; even as he noted that they would be made to pay for their part in the crises.

He said during the church service;

Quote:“Nothing will happen to Nigeria. Nigeria will remain one.

“Beyond this crisis, Nigeria is beautiful. Your prayer now is that you should witness it so that this crisis will not take you away.

“It is decreed that this nation will be reckoned with as a powerful nation.
“Huge trouble is coming and no human being will withstand it unless you don’t have hand in that trouble.

“There is a cloud that covers Nigeria… the cloud of crisis, murder, killings, destruction covers Nigeria. The cloud will go; Nigeria will remain.
“Power without peace is powerless. The manner you have that power will determine whether there will be peace in it. The power is in the heart. Not in the gun, not in the White house or Aso Rock. If you are living in the White House without power in the heart, it is like you are living in the bush.
“I want to assure you: Nigeria – nothing will happen to Nigeria. Nigeria will remain one!”

Kogi Miyetti Allah Chairman was arrested not kidnapped - MACBAN

Adamu Abubakar, Secretary of Kogi state chapter of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), has said that Chairman of the group in the state, Wakili Damina was arrested and not kidnapped as speculated.

Abubakar confirmed this to Channels Television in Lokoja on Sunday March 9. He said Damina was picked up from his house by some men in military uniform without explanation to members of the association or the state government as to why he was arrested.

Insisting that the action of the security operatives was in violation of Damina’s fundamental human right, the MACBAN Secretary revealed that the national body of the association has taken up the matter for a thorough investigation to ascertain why the branch chairman was whisked away in such a manner.

He noted that the manner he was taken away made members think it was an abduction.

Commissioner of Police in Kogi, Ede Ayuba who also confirmed that the MACBAN Chairman was arrested, said some persons who wanted to set him up falsely reported him to some security operatives who came to his house and whisked him away.

Ayuba said Damina is already receiving treatment and promised to visit him soon to explain what happened to him in detail.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES,

MONDAY 10TH MAY 2021.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

TOPIC: LET YOUR DIVINITY SOAR

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High (Psalm 82:6).

How can anyone read what the Psalmist penned in the scripture above and still preach, believe or teach a message that tries to convince God’s people that they’re mere humans? That isn’t consistent with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that “Ye are gods!” Even Jesus reiterated it (John 10:34).

Therefore, when you profess your divinity, you’re not arrogating anything to yourself that God Himself hasn’t already said about you. The more you have, and walk in the consciousness of your divinity, the better and faster your growth in Christ.

Everything in the epistle teaches us that our humanity was nailed to the Cross. Romans 6:6 tells us, “...that our old man is crucified with him….” When you were born again, you were born after Christ, as a new type of being. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…. Peter said, “We’re partakers (sharers) of the divine nature”(2 Peter 1:4).

When someone says, “We’re only humans,” it suddenly shows how ignorant they are of their divine life. If you say you’re human, you’ll suffer what humans suffer: the frustrations, depression, sickness, disease, lack, pain, misery, satanic oppression, and corrupting influences in this world. But if you profess your divinity and walk accordingly, you’ll live as a champion in this world, over and above the elements—the sufferings, distress, miseries and pain.

You might ask, “How about when we feel discouraged? Isn’t that part of our humanity?” But that’s the very thing that God said we must never allow. He said to Joshua, “I’ve commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t ever be afraid or discouraged…”(Joshua 1:9 CEV). It doesn’t matter what happens to you; refuse to be discouraged.

No matter the adversities you face, be bold, courageous, and audacious in faith. James 1:2 says, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.” Humans cry when they go through tests and trials, but we rejoice, because we know that in all these things, we’re more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I have and walk in the consciousness of my divine life. I walk in dominion over sickness, disease, death, discouragements and frustrations that affect the human nature. I have the divine life and nature of God in me that makes me victorious always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John 5:11-13
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

#TALKINGSESSION

[url=https://wp.me/p9v28c-5cp]Dear Father, my mind is completely yielded to the ministry of the Word and the Holy Spirit, such that I only think excellence, strength, victory, abundance
, success, faith, and the glorious life in Christ.

Through Your Word, my mind is reprogrammed, renewed, transformed, and positioned for an unending life of glory and victory. Your Word is the light of my life, and by the Word, I see and take a hold of my inheritance in Christ, walking in wisdom, and manifesting the glory of God everywhere.

I walk in, and demonstrate, the supernatural today, subduing circumstances. I declare that I’m triumphant, victorious, prosperous, and successful in all things. My life is for the glory of God, and His righteousness is expressed in, and through me.

I am like a tree planted by the streams, fruitful, productive, and luscious. Thank You precious Father, for making my life so beautiful!

As Jesus is, so am I; I am one with Him! In Him, I live, and move and have my being. I have His righteousness, life, and nature in me.

I am the effulgence of His glory and the express image of His person. Therefore, I think, act, and live as His perfect representation. Hallelujah!

I’m changed, from glory to glory. I make progress in every area of my life: in my health, finances, business and academics; I make progress spiritually, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

God bless you

Quote:On May 9, 2021
Onitsha residents are currently in fear, as a truck fully loaded with cartons of live bullets fell into a ditch and spilled its content all around the street, in the commercial city of Anambra State.

Nigerian Tribune learnt that the incident occurred on Sunday morning on Awka Road in the city as early worshipers made their way to churches.

The incident attracted heavy security presence to the Awka Road area and Shoprite axis of the city.

It was gathered that the truck, a Mercedes Benz 911 model was said to be moving the goods out of Onitsha to an undisclosed location when the driver lost control and the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a gutter.

According to an eyewitness who spoke to some journalists around 6.50 am at the scene of the accident on Sunday, “the truck fell around 5 am, the driver and his conductor after sustaining minor injuries tried to evacuate and conceal the content of the truck but they could not do much before daybreak when some police operatives arrived the accident scene only to discover the truck was laden with a confinement of live bullets.”

The police subsequently called for backup and instantly arrested the truck driver while his conductor escaped.

SERAP demands probe of N39.5bn duplicated projects in 2021 budget

on
 May 9, 2021

[Image: Socio-Economic-Rights-and-Accountability...1.jpg.webp]
The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to direct the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami and appropriate anti-corruption agencies to probe the N39.5 billion allocation for “316 duplicated and mysterious projects” in 2021 budget.

BudgIT, an organisation, leading the advocacy for transparency and accountability in public finance, raised the alarm in a recent report.
The CSO also exposed how 117 federal agencies demanded N24 billion for “security votes”.

SERAP said the investigation must establish whether public funds have been mismanaged, diverted or stolen in the guise of implementing the duplicated and mysterious projects.

The organisation demanded that anyone suspected to be responsible should face prosecution as appropriate and any stolen public funds be fully recovered.

SERAP Deputy Director Kolawole Oluwadare, in a May 8 letter to Buhari, regretted that the misallocation of public funds undermined the ability of the indicted Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs) to implement well-thought-out policies, plans, and budgets.

The organisation said the BudgIT revelation of the questionable projects in the 2021 appropriation bill of N13.588 trillion signed into law in December 2020 was worrisome.

The letter said the discoveries suggested a grave violation of public trust and Nigerians’ rights to education, health, water, sanitation and a satisfactory environment.

It lamented that MDAs have misallocated public funds at the expense of the people’s access to basic public services, and enjoyment of rights.

“SERAP urges you to ask the heads of the MDAs involved to explain why they allegedly failed to ensure strict compliance with constitutional and international standards of transparency and accountability in the preparation, processes and decisions on their budgets, and to return any misallocated public funds to the public treasury”, the letter noted.

Sunday Igboho mocks Pastor Adeboye after son’s death [VIDEO]

on
 May 9, 2021

Popular Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, (aka Sunday Igboho) has mocked Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, over the sudden death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

Sunday Igboho said he would not greet or sympathize with Adeboye over the demise of Dare because the General Overseer does not support Yoruba nation.

Igboho did not mince words when he rained curses on any leader or Pastor who refuse to support the secession agenda, saying God will kill their children and wives.

He said this during a live Facebook broadcast with his media aide, Olayomi Koiki, on Saturday night.

Koiki had asked the activist to send some words to Adeboye through the live video, to sympathise with him over the death of his son.

But, Sunday Igboho appeared infuriated by Koiki’s request as he asked if the man of God had declared his support for Yoruba nation.

He said: “Has Baba supported Yoruba nation that we will now be greeting him? We don’t need to greet Adeboye. What is my own with that? We are not doing church here. This is not religion.

“Pastor Adeboye didn’t speak about Yoruba nation. Look at the number of crowd in Baba Adeboye’s church. Is he not supposed to tell all of them to join Yoruba nation? We don’t need to greet him.

“God himself will start asking questions from all the enemies of the Yoruba race. By the grace of God, anybody who says Yoruba will not get to the promised land, God will kill their children and wives and their entire family.”

“Anybody who does not support Yoruba nation, those who have powers, be it pastors or anybody that has the followers, but does not support Yoruba nation, God I call on you; you’re the one who owns me and the creator of everything.

Those elders who see our sufferings, who see that the Fulanis are kidnapping us and collecting ransom, but choose not to support us, as you kill their children, kill their wives. So shall it be!” Sunday Igboho emphasised.

Aranmolate Ayobami: ‘We Treated 15 Lekki Tollgate Shooting Victims
User Avatar Forum: General Discussion
Posted by: Edoman - 05-09-2021, 06:58 PM - No Replies

Quote:The Medical Director of Grandville Trauma Centre, Aranmolate Ayobami, said his facility treated 15 victims of the Lekki Tollgate shootings of last October 20 in Lagos.

Ayobami told the Lagos State Judicial panel probing police brutality and the Lekki tollgate incident that the patients were transferred from three hospitals in Lekki with gunshot wounds.

He said the 15 patients comprised four referrals from Vedic life Healthcare, seven referrals from Reddington hospital and two from Doreen hospital.

No fewer than 14 petitioners have accused the army of shooting several protesters dead and injuring several.

The army, which entered a defence denying the allegation, failed to honour subsequent summons requiring it respond to further questions by petitioners.

Ayobami, a surgeon, appeared before the panel based on a summons issued to Grandville Trauma Centre to give account of their encounter with protesters from the Lekki incident.

Led in evidence by Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Mr Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, he claimed members of the public, not the Federal or Lagos government, foot the patients’ medical bills.

According to him, staff of the hospital also donated blood for one of the victims who needed blood.

Following a request by panel chair Retired Justice Doris Okuwobi, he named the patients as follows: Ikwrogbo Theophilus, 38 (gunshot injury to the lower limb, had an x-fix; metal objects attached to the broken bones); Adamu Hassan Yinusa, 27 (gunshot injury to the elbow bone and had x-fix as well; and Nicholas Okpe, 43 (gunshot injury to the chest, a chest tube was passed into the lungs to allow for air and blood and was transferred to LASUTH for further care).

Others are Ogbonna Emmanuel, 20 (gunshot injury to the thigh and had a broken femur); Olalekan Faleye, 23 (gunshot injury to the leg; taken in for vascular ligation to save his life; took five pints of blood and referred to Igbobi where he had amputation of the limb); Joshua James, 32 (gunshot injury to the left thigh, had multiple dressings); and Patric Okolo, 22 (gunshot injury to the right forearm).

Director, Hospital Administration and Human Resources of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Gbajumo Kehinde, also appeared before the panel.

Kehinde, who appeared following a summons, tendered some documents to the panel but is yet to testify.

Proceedings were adjourned till May 15.

They said they use the manager of SK Express courier company to deliver their products through motorcycle riders and power bikers popularly called droppers. They further claimed they have been in the business for over three years.

Meanwhile, operatives of the Ondo state Command of the Agency have intercepted and seized 60kilogrammes of cannabis following intelligence.
