Chelsea stars of the past are set to roll back the years

•On Friday 18 May, a team of Chelsea Legends will take on Inter Forever.
•Blues favourites such as Gianfranco Zola, Dennis Wise, Gianluca Vialli will take on former Inter Milan players like Javier Zanetti, Youri Djorkaeff and Francesco Toldo.
•One of the Chelsea squad, Graeme Le Saux, is already anxious.
He said: ''I have spoken to everyone and they are all really excited at the prospect. In the correspondence I have been laughing my head off because the banter starts flying around and everyone has been so enthusiastic about it.''
•Le Saux explained that Inter are celebrating a 20th anniversary too, the Italian giants having won the UEFA Cup in 1998.
He adds: ''They have a programme for their ex-players called Inter Forever and they have fantastic quality. I played against Zanetti in the ‘98 World Cup when England played Argentina, I was marking him throughout the game. If you go through their alumni, it is filled with top-quality players.''

Pep Guardiola says Arsene Wenger is right man for Arsenal​

Pep Guardiola has backed Arsene Wenger to deal with the "situation" at Arsenal, following Thursday's 3-0 loss to Manchester City at the Emirates.

Arsenal have lost five of their last seven games, twice at the hands of City, and find themselves 10 points adrift of the top four, with the Europa League their only remaining chance to win any silverware.

Guardiola, who has lost on three of the 14 occasions he has come up against Wenger, heaped praise on the Frenchman and believes he has the know-how to help the steer the club out of trouble.

"He knows my admiration for him," said Guardiola.

"I can understand the situation. I know all the managers can be in that situation. He knows, he handles that situation. He has a lot of experience.

Mourinho? Expects Ibra⭐ To Leave Man United♦​

Jose Mourinho says the decision over the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic rests with the player, but the veteran striker is expected to leave Manchester United at the end of his contract.

Mourinho handed Ibrahimovic a one-year deal in August despite his knee problems and the United manager conceded the forward is expected to depart at the end of the season, with a move to MLS mooted.

"For Zlatan, we all think it's his last season at Manchester United and it will be a very personal decision for him to play or to stop," said Mourinho.

"I he's such an amazing player with such an amazing career that only that awful injury in the wrong moment broke a fantastic couple of seasons that he could, and should, have with us.

"This season has been really difficult for him. Is he injured? No, he's not injured. Does he feel totally happy and totally ready and totally convinced that he's in the condition to help the team at this moment? No.

"But he's such an honest guy and such a champion that he only wants to be back with that feeling of 'I'm totally ready for it'. He's working hard and, hopefully, his evolution brings him to that level that he wants to have a positive answer."
