The Chelsea transfer news heats up as the club manager and the supporter, seems to have different opinion on players to bring to the bridge. Maurizio Sarri have continued to push for Argentine sensation Gonzalo Higuain, despite reports of the Argentine imminent departure to Seria A club AC Milan as part of deal to bring Leornado Bonucci to Juventus. Though both Milan and Juventus met yesterday, but no deal was reached.

According to expert Gianluca Di Marza, Chelsea is expected to make an offer of their own for Higuain. "In a meeting today between Milan and Juventus principally concerning Lenoardo Bonucci and Gonzalo Higuain, talks were inconclusive," Di Marzio wrote on his website.

While Sarri continues to push for a reunion with the Argentine, Chelsea faithful’s have look other way  with 75% percent of supporters backing a move for Paulo Dybala. The arrival of Portuguese playmaker to the club, meant that a high profile player is to leave the club. Chelsea faithful are hoping that the Dybala becomes the man ahead of teammate Higuain.

The 24yr old attacker who is very much versatile with position ranging from center forward, right winger and deeper in No 10 role is the perfect match for Sarri’s Chelsea project.

The 24yr old who is believed to be in the mood of Argentine prodigy Lionel Messi, netted 26 times with 7 assists last season. Dybala won’t come cheap with Transfermarkt placing a £99m price fee on him but given the age difference between him and fellow countryman, he remains a very much good acquisition.

Despite the fact that Sarri craves for Higuain who was ruthless during his days at Napoli, Chelsea faithful seems to have made a statement on a player who they believe can fill any possible void created by either the departure of Eden Hazard or Willian.

Chelsea Supporters And Management At Loggerhead Over Transfer

The Reds have been making headlines in the current transfer window, with the acquisition of new players and the retention of key players. The club however is reportedly ready to sale seven players in a bid to raise funds.

 According to the Liverpool Echo, the Merseyside outfit looks to make an amount in the region of £106.5m if things go their way. Liverpool Echo learnt that the projected amount could help offset the money spent on the recent acquisition of Alisson, Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherden Shaqiri valued at £165m.

Daniel Sturridge is expected to remain with the Merseyside outfit, despite his injury prone nature and his failed loan outing with relegated West brom last season. Why the England international could remain with the club, the same cannot be said for Danny Ings and Simon Mignolet who are surplus to requirement.

Danny Ings who is currently valued at £20m, is expected to depart the club as he seeks for game time at a lower club. Simon Mignolet whose chances of become the club’s first choice goalkeeper was ruled out with the arrival of Alisson will be seeking for a move away from the club as he searches for match time. Divock Origi top the list of players to leave the club as he seeks to rebuild his football career. The Belgian current valued at £27m remains a nice business for potential employers.

Other players include Lazar Markovic, Marko Grujic, Sheyl Ojo and Pedro Chirlvella.

Brazilian winger Malcom has passed a medical at Barcelona before his £36.5m move from Bordeaux.
The deal was announced on Tuesday after the Spanish champions beat Roma to the signature of the 21-year-old.
"This is a boyhood dream come true," said Malcom, who is yet to be capped by Brazil. "I can't wait to get started."

Roma are considering whether they have "a legal case" after reaching a deal with Bordeaux on Monday, subject to a medical and personal terms.
Barcelona will pay an initial 41m euros, with another 1m euros (£900,000) in variables.
Malcom, who scored 20 goals and set up 13 in 84 Ligue 1 games for Bordeaux, will join Barcelona on their USA tour.
He is the club's second Brazilian summer signing, after midfielder Arthur joined from Gremio for £35.5m.
They have also signed Sevilla centre-back Clement Lenglet for 35.9 million euros (£32m).

'Roma did not want to enter an auction'
Roma sporting director Monchi said "nothing was signed" with Malcom, who had also been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham said to be interested.
Documents had been exchanged between Roma and Bordeaux before the Italian side were forced to increase their offer as Barca submitted an improved bid.
But Roma opted against a further bid, with Monchi telling Roma's website on Monday: "I was surprised to be told that the agents and Bordeaux wanted another improved offer, as Barcelona were still pushing for a deal. I told them enough, because we did not want to enter an auction.
"We could not continue like that, and yesterday we had only raised our offer because of the willingness and desire of our president. So that was how everything ended.
"It is true that nothing was signed, but there are many messages with the agents and their president that are at least worth being assessed."
Bordeaux - who signed Malcom from Corinthians in 2016 - had also announced the agreement, subject to the signature of "administrative documents".

Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho avoids Premier League title question

Jose Mourinho refused to say whether he thinks his Manchester United squad are strong enough to compete for the Premier League title next season.
United have brought in three players for about £68m this summer, and the 55-year-old told ESPN he would like to sign "two more players".
Asked at a news conference if he was confident of challenging, Mourinho said: "I don't answer your question."

The Portuguese stayed silent when pressed to explain why.
United were runners-up to Manchester City last season, finishing 19 points behind the champions, and lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup final.
The £47m spent on midfielder Fred has been their biggest outlay of the summer.
The club have also been linked with Chelsea's Brazilian midfielder Willian, Eintracht Frankfurt's Croatia winger Ante Rebic and Tottenham's Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld.
Mourinho was speaking to the media in Los Angeles before his side's pre-season friendly against AC Milan on Thursday.
The United boss said he was not fully satisfied on the USA tour because he was without several members of his first-team squad, who are on a break following the World Cup.

"I don't have the majority of the players that are going to be in the squad on 9 August when the market [transfer window] closes and we can make it official for the season. So of course I'm not happy, to have just a few players," he added.
'It will be difficult for United to win the league' - Scholes
Ex-United midfielder Paul Scholes believes his former side face a tough task to win their 21st top-flight crown and that Mourinho is not in the right frame of mind.
"Every year when United don't win something, it's a disaster," the 43-year-old, who won 11 league titles at Old Trafford, told Bein Sports.
"He's obviously got to try to win the league, but there's so many good teams now, it's going to be difficult.
"He doesn't look happy to me. It's a team that grind out results rather than really impress you and that's probably what he's happy with. That's where he's been at his best over the years.
"I think he's got every resource available to him to have a team to win the league. That's what the fans expect and what I'm sure his bosses above him expect."

Arsenal have officially launched their turquoise third kit on their pre-season tour of Singapore.
Alexandre Lacazette, Hector Bellerin, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Petr Cech were on hand to help unveil the colourful Puma kit on Friday at The Esplanade in front of the Arsenal supporters.
The 2018-19 shirt consists of two navy stripes around the sleeves while it also comes with a traditional collar as opposed to the home and away jerseys.

The new shirt features a 'W' engineered into the shirt, in tribute to the attacking part of former boss Herbert Chapman's WM formation, which was introduced in the 1930s. It is directly linked to the 'M' graphic on the away shirt. 
The strip is reminiscent of Arsenal's 1982-83 'Bluebottle' kit and the shorts and socks are also in the same colours, with the latter having four navy hopes circling them.
The 2018-19 kit will provide the squad with a lightweight 'second skin' feel, which will help with the players' movements.

Barcelona’s first mixed-sex tour was overshadowed by controversy on Thursday after it emerged that the men’s football team flew in business class to the United States while the women’s team was relegated to the back of the plane in economy, AFP reports.

The Spanish giants posted photos and videos of the two teams boarding the Portland-bound plane together but photos posted by the female players online showed they were flying in economy, sparking an outcry on social media after this was noticed by supporters of the women’s team.

“There was one photo of the team captains in business class before the men took their seats in business class and the women returned to their economy seats,” wrote one much discussed fan-run account which tweeted extensively about the topic, @BarcaWomen.


“If any of the women were in Business Class, then we certainly didn’t see them. If Barcelona are going to say that they are about Equality, then the actions must be there to back it up.”

But Alexia Putellas of the women’s team said the teams flew in separate sections of the plane because the female squad had been added to the tour at a late stage after the club had already chartered its flight and all the business seats had already been assigned to the men.

“The club made an effort to organise everything practically at the last minute… I wish we would always travel like this, in these conditions,” she told reporters in Portland after the team’s first training session.

Sports daily Marca reported that there were only 36 spaces at the front of the plane and each female player was booked three seats for comfort.

It was hugs all round at UCLA on Thursday as No 1 goalkeeper David de Gea joined up with his Manchester United team-mates on the club's US pre-season tour.
The Spanish international missed the start of the America trip having taken his post-World Cup holiday after being eliminated in the quarter-finals. 
Along with new £52million signing Fred, the goalkeeper linked up with his team-mates as he warmly embraced Spanish compatriots Juan Mata and Ander Herrera before the players met special guest, wrestler Rey Mysterio.

De Gea is a big fan of the American wrestler and the feeling is clearly mutual as the special guest presented the Spaniard with a special mask for him to keep.
In return the wrestler, a big United fan, was given a personalised shirt with 'Mysterio 619' which pays homage to the wrestler's signature finishing move. 
Having arrived after his holiday, the goalkeeper did some light fitness work with the Reds' goalkeeping coaches in a bid to ease him back in.
New signing Lee Grant and Joel Pereira have been sharing goalkeeping duties so far on the tour but with the Premier League opener just two weeks away, Mourinho needs De Gea to be match sharp.

The World Cup proved a real low point for De Gea, who has gone on to establish himself as one of the best in the world.
But a poor tournament for Spain and himself on a personal note will ensure he has added motivation to right those wrongs at the start of the season for United. 
The Reds will train on Friday morning before making the trip to Detroit ahead of facing Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side in the International Champions' Cup.
Mourinho's side got their cup campaign off to a winning start without De Gea and Fred on Wednesday as Alexis Sanchez led by example in the epic penalty shootout win inside the Pasadena Rose Bowl.

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme, has confirmed his retirement from football.


The 32-year-old announced the news to his Wolverhampton Wanderers teammates, before a training session at Compton on Tuesday morning.

Ikeme took the decision, after consulting with medical experts, following his 12-month battle with acute leukaemia.

Last month, Ikeme announced on Twitter, that he was in complete remission from the disease, after “a tough year and intense chemotherapy”.

The goalkeeper has 10 caps for Nigeria and made 274 career appearances in all competitions, with over 200 of them coming for Wolves.

"After advice from the doctors I have taken the decision to retire. It’s not a sad day for me but one to look back with fondness and joy for being able to live my dream . I just want to thank everyone at @wolves for there support over the years. We have rode the good and bad times together , an I’m great-full to of been apart of the clubs history. Davy Klaassen: Everton midfielder joins Werder Bremen

Netherlands international Davy Klaassen has completed his move from Everton to Werder Bremen for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old was not involved in the Toffees' 3-0 friendly defeat at Blackburn on Thursday after being given permission to travel to Germany.
Bremen have reportedly paid £12m for the former Ajax captain, who joined Everton in June 2017 for £23.6m.

He made only 16 Everton appearances, and was told he had no future at the club by new head coach Marco Silva.




"It was important to me to know exactly where the journey was going on the pitch and the ambitions of the club have convinced me," Klaassen told Bremen's website.
"After my exchange with [coach] Florian Kohfeldt, I have a very good feeling that I can make an important contribution here with my abilities.
"The coach wants to play attractive, attacking football. I am really looking forward to that."
Klaassen's year at Goodison Park was a turbulent one, with Ronald Koeman - the manager who signed him - sacked in October and replaced five weeks later by Sam Allardyce, who was himself dismissed in May to make way for Silva.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery on Friday said Nigeria’s Alex Iwobi was set to sign a new deal, in a boost to his efforts to fire the Gunners back to the big time.

Emery has been busy in the transfer market in his first weeks in charge but he said Iwobi, 22, was staying put for the post-Arsene Wenger era — on a reported five-year deal.

“My information is he’s going to sign to continue with us,” said Emery, who will face his previous club, Paris Saint-Germain, at the International Champions Cup on Saturday.


Emery also hopes Wales international Aaron Ramsey will sign a fresh deal while Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira, German goalkeeper Bernd Leno and Frenchman Matteo Guendouzi are among the new arrivals.

The Spanish manager was reported to have tangled with Neymar, the world’s most expensive player, in the French capital before quitting and being handed a rebuilding role at Arsenal.

But he said he would maintain his egalitarian approach at Arsenal, whose teenagers Emile Smith Rowe and Guendouzi stood out in Thursday’s penalties defeat to Atletico Madrid.

“I have my way and there’s an opportunity here to work with the same mentality I want in my career: to bring the team a new spirit and a good energy with very good quality players and that’s my idea, my work,” he said in Singapore.

Roma president, James Pallotta has said that the club will not forgive Barcelona for “unethically and immorally” snatching Brazilian forward, Malcom, from them.


Pallotta said that Barcelona signed the player when the Italian club already had an agreement with the Brazilian and his former club, Bordeaux.

He said that Barca should offer Lionel Messi to Roma by way of apology.


Roma were expecting the Brazilian winger to arrive for a medical earlier this week only to learn his flight to the Eternal City had been cancelled after Barca made Bordeaux an improved offer.

Roma matched Barca’s bid, but the player signed for the Spanish club less than 24 hours later, much to the Serie A club’s sporting director Monchi’s anger, as he said he was considering legal action.

Pallotta, in an interview with SiriusXM FC, said, “They knew that this was done. In point of fact yesterday they apologised to us about their actions and how they did things and I don’t accept the apology, I mean, at all.


“The apology, the only way I’ll except it is either one of two things. I mean at the end of the day, send [Malcom] to us, and you know that’s not going to happen.

“But maybe, as a goodwill gesture, at the very least they should send Messi to us.

“The deal was done. We’re up at night and the kid doesn’t get on the plane. Bordeaux stops it and we find out all of a sudden Barcelona jumps into the mix, and in no question in my mind unethically and immorally.”

Pallotta said that while one of Malcom’s agents was telling Monchi that his client was getting on the plane, “we’re hearing from other sources that one of the other agents – the Brazilian one of the four agents – is in Barcelona!

“I have no problem if we’re battling it out for a player with Inter or Bayern or whoever it is, and we’re all going through the process of trying to get to the player, fine. That’s the way it works.

“But at the end of the day when a deal is don and completely agreed upon? And some people say, ‘Oh it wasn’t formally signed.’ That’s bulls … We all know how it works — the kid comes in for the medical and then the signing is done.

“That handshake and the agreement is done. Other teams know not to come in and do what Barcelona did. Bordeaux should’ve never been doing what they did, that was completely — I think it’s illegal not to mention unethical and immoral.

“In terms of Barcelona, it was just, you know, a pattern of the past few years of doing things that just should not be done at a club with what the reputation that I think Barcelona intends to have and to be.

“If you just look at all the stuff that happened, you know, the deal was done. And my view is Bordeaux, their actions, and we’ve already spoken to legal and you know I’m fairly certain that they’re going to be testifying on this and that there will be some litigation.”

France international, Kylian Mbappe has been given a new jersey number at Paris Saints-Germain, PSG.

Mbappe will now wear the No.7 shirt for PSG for the 2018-19 season.

The forward switched from his previous number, 29, which he had worn since joining the club from Monaco last year, ahead of the new campaign.


The 19-year-old now takes up the No.7 jersey vacated by Lucas Moura upon his move to Tottenham last season.

Mbappe inspired France to win the 2018 World Cup in Russia this summer. He scored a goal in their 4-2 victory over Croatia in the final.

“I thought for a long time that the number was not important, it was only on the pitch that it mattered but it is an indication of your ambitions, the player you want to be,” Mbappe told the club’s website.

Cristiano Ronaldo fined €3.2m in tax evasion case

Cristiano Ronaldo will be fined 3.2 million Euros (3.7 million dollars) and sentenced to 24 months in prison, a sentence he is unlikely to serve, after settling a tax evasion case with Spanish tax authorities, the prosecutor said on Friday.

The 33-year-old is accused of evading 5.7 million euros in taxes. He has denied the allegations.

Ronaldo is unlikely to go to prison as Spanish law states a sentence of under two years for a first offence can be served on probation.

The football star will be required to pay the 3.2-million-Euro fine plus the 5.7 million Euros in back taxes, 1 million Euros in accrued interest and 250 Euros-per-day for the 48 months covering the prison sentence.

This amount is likely to be only part of the striker’s fines over the case, which are expected to rise to around 19 million Euros in total.

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, is being forced to reignite his interest in Tottenham Hotspur defender, Toby Alderweireld, after being told that Leicester City will demand a sum in excess of £75 million for Harry Maguire.


Goal reports that Mourinho was initially keen on signing Alderweireld, but was put off by Spurs’ £75m price tag for the 29-year-old.

United were only willing to pay around £55m for the Belgium international.


The Red Devils switched their attention to Maguire, following his impressive display for England at the 2018 World Cup.

However, they have now been told the defender will not be available for a summer transfer.

Leicester have already lost Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City this summer and have so far failed to identify a suitable replacement for Maguire.

Real Madrid has finally taken a decision on winger, Gareth Bale’s future.


Bale’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu has been uncertain ever since the Champions League final in May this year.

The forward scored twice against Liverpool in Kiev to give Madrid their third consecutive Champions League title. He was visibly unhappy about starting the game on the bench.


“Obviously I need to play,” Bale told reporters after the game.

“That hasn’t happened this season for one reason or another.

“I was injured for five or six games and I’ve been fit ever since. I’ll have to sit down in the summer, discuss it with my agent and take it from there.”


However, Spanish outlet, Marca reports that in the latest meeting the Los Blancos had with Bale over his future at the club yesterday, they informed the Welsh international that he’ll be their ‘franchise player’ now.

The Champions League holders’ comments to Bale will go down well with Wales manager, Ryan Giggs, who had previously urged the 29-year-old to reject any approach from Man United and stay with the Spanish giants.

“It’s Real Madrid – there are only a handful of clubs who have got that aura,” Giggs said.

“Of course you would want to stay there.

“What’s Gareth won, three Champions League titles? The proof is in that. When you are at clubs like that, you are always going to win things.

“Gareth has the ability to score every type of goal and there are similarities with Cristiano Ronaldo. They both started out as wingers and they are now goal-scorers.”

Cesar Azpilicueta marked his first Chelsea appearance since returning from the World Cup with the decisive penalty against Inter Milan as the Blues ran out 5-4 winners after a 1-1 draw.
Pedro put Chelsea ahead in the International Champions Cup tie in Nice after Alvaro Morata had forced a save.
Chelsea peppered Inter's goal with 10 shots in the opening half without adding to their lead.
Inter forced a penalty shootout after Roberto Gagliardini equalised.

Spain defender Azpilicueta, who did not play a game in Russia, was one of a number of players making their first Chelsea appearance since returning from the World Cup.
Willy Caballero (Argentina), Antonio Rudiger (Germany), Victor Moses (Nigeria) and Andreas Christensen (Denmark) also came on against Inter.
However, France World Cup winners Olivier Giroud and N'Golo Kante were absent, as were Belgium duo Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.
Other absentees included Gary Cahill and Willian.
Chelsea started with the same side that began the 1-0 friendly win over Perth Glory in Australia on Monday, with Cesc Fabregas named as captain.
Seventeen-year-olds Ethan Ampadu and Callum Hudson-Odoi again got the nod from new boss Maurizio Sarri, along with 18-year-old Polish keeper Marcin Bulka, as new 38-year-old signing Robert Green watched from the bench.

More frustration for Morata
Chelsea should have been out of sight by half-time before fading after the break.
Even before Pedro's eighth-minute goal, Ross Barkley had forced Samir Handanovic to save with his leg before Alvaro Morata had a header ruled out for offside.
Morata found the net 11 times in the Premier League last season but ended the campaign without a goal in his final six top-flight games.
The 25-year-old Spain forward did well to keep the ball in play leading up to Pedro's goal but was unable to maintain his promising start to the match and was replaced after 65 minutes.
Jorginho forced a fine one-handed save from distance on his second appearance since joining from Napoli.
The Italy midfielder calmly scored Chelsea's first penalty during the shootout with Danny Drinkwater, Moses and Tammy Abraham also netting from the spot.
Caballero used his legs to keep out Inter's Milan Skriniar before Azpilicueta's winning kick.
Chelsea continue their International Champions Cup campaign against Arsenal in Dublin on Wednesday (20:05 BST) before next Sunday's Community Shield against Manchester City at Wembley (15:00).
Sarri's side round off their pre-season preparations at Stamford Bridge against Lyon on 7 August (20:05) - four days before their opening Premier League game at Huddersfield on 11 August (15:00).

Arsenal 5-1 PSG: Alexandre Lacazette scores twice, Mesut Ozil also nets





Mesut Ozil captained Arsenal after quitting international football earlier in the week
Substitute Alexandre Lacazette scored twice as Arsenal thumped Paris St-Germain 5-1 in Singapore.
Lacazette flicked in a finish from Emile Smith-Rowe's cross and headed home his second in the friendly.
Mesut Ozil, who quit international football after the World Cup, captained the Gunners and stroked in the opener, while Rob Holding headed in the fourth and Eddie Nketiah scored the fifth.
Christopher Nkunku had briefly levelled for PSG with a second-half penalty.
The spot-kick was awarded after Sead Kolasinac tripped Timothy Weah in the box, but Arsenal ran away with the game thereafter.
New Gunners manager Unai Emery had said he wants "five captains" in his team this season and handed the armband to midfielder Ozil on this occasion.
Ozil cited "racism and disrespect" over his Turkish roots in his decision to call time on his Germany career but repaid his club manager's faith by converting from Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang's cutback.

Ozil was one of five players replaced just after the hour mark, and two of those coming on - French striker Lacazette and English defender Holding - both found the net, as did Nketiah with a cool strike late on.
Lacazette said: "This can give us some confidence and we need this after last season and we are happy after scoring five goals today."
Veteran Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon started the game for Ligue 1 champions PSG after joining in the summer from Serie A winners Juventus, and the 40-year-old reacted sharply to deny Alex Iwobi and Aubameyang.
Arsenal will continue their pre-season campaign against London rivals Chelsea in Dublin on Wednesday.

Manchester City started with six teenagers against Bayern Munich
A young Manchester City team fought back from 2-0 down to beat German champions Bayern Munich 3-2 in Miami.
Bayern were 2-0 ahead inside 25 minutes, Meritan Shabani heading the first goal before Arjen Robben doubled the lead after Franck Ribery's pass.
City lost new £60m signing Riyad Mahrez to an ankle injury in the first half.
His replacement Bernardo Silva pulled a goal back before 19-year-old Lukas Nmecha poked home the equaliser, Silva netting the winner from 15 yards.

Nmecha, born in Germany and capped by England at youth level, was one of six teenagers to start for Pep Guardiola's side.
The Premier League champions return to England to prepare for next Sunday's Community Shield date with Chelsea (15:00 BST) with a morale-boosting win, having lost their previous two games in the United States to Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool.

This was a night when Guardiola gave City's fans a glimpse into the future.
The Spaniard fielded a side sprinkled with teenagers and, after falling 2-0 behind to a strong Bayern team boasting four Champions League winners, showed tremendous character and spirit to win.
Eighteen-year-old Spanish forward Brahim Diaz caught the eye with a lively attacking display which he came close to capping with a goal in the 36th minute.
Nmecha hit the post with a confident effort soon after he was denied by Sven Ulreich's leg when the game was goalless.
Luke Bolton, 18, also showed promise with a string of attacking runs down the right, while it was England Under-17 world champion Phil Foden's shot which Ulreich spilled and allowed Nmecha to score.
Meanwhile, Silva's winner came courtesy of a pass by 17-year-old substitute Adrian Bernabe.

Tottenham comeback against Barcelona in vain as they lose shoot-out

Tottenham came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Barcelona in Los Angeles before losing a penalty shoot-out to the Spanish champions.
A Munir header and a drilled shot from Arthur put the La Liga side in front.
Son Heung-min pulled one back from close range after a shot from Christian Eriksen, who earlier hit the woodwork with a free-kick, was blocked.
Georges-Kevin N'Koudou scored after a goalmouth scramble to level before Spurs lost 5-3 on penalties.
Midfielder Anthony Georgiou saw his spot-kick for Spurs saved by Barcelona keeper Jasper Cillessen in the shoot-out, while Barcelona converted all of their penalties.
