In Mathew 28:19-20, the Lord Jesus instructed: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.

Amen.” He’s given us the mandate to evangelise the world before He returns. In Luke 19:13, He said, parabolically, “…Occupy till I come”; that means keep working; keep preaching; keep winning souls.
We’re the bearers of His righteousness; His light in a dark world. We must take the light of the Gospel to men and women around the world, as a witness to all nations (Matthew 24:14). We can’t afford to be weak, lukewarm, or quiet. We must maintain the glow and passion of the Spirit, and keep preaching the Gospel in the wisdom and power of God. Yes, we’ll face oppositions; there’re many adversaries; there’s a dark realm over this world and in this world, which we’re set against. But none of these should deter us from preaching the Gospel.

We must have the same mind with the Apostle Paul; read his inspiring conviction and resolve to preach the Gospel: “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:22-24).


Remember, this glorious Gospel which has been committed to our trust is God’s saving power that unveils His righteousness, eternal life, and destiny for all mankind; it’s worth living for, and if need be, dying for. So, refuse to give in or cower under any pressure, adversities or oppositions; keep winning souls.

PRAYER

In the Name of the Lord Jesus, I declare that the righteousness of God, eternal life and immortality are unveiled to men and women around the world today, as they receive the Gospel. I break the power of Satan over men’s lives, and affirm that the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ shines in their hearts. Amen.

SCRIPTURE": And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you,"but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house Acts 20":20

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Those who sow mediocrity must reap obscurity; to sow lethargy is to harvest poverty.

Giving life all it takes means holding nothing back. This is coming to a point where all that God deposited in you in the form of talents and potentials are being maximally utilized for the benefits of both humanity and Divinity.

The truth is,"life is not a rehearsal but a reality. You don’t have eternity to fulfil destiny. If you have the stage, make sense on time because you will not have the stage forever. Approach life with a sense of urgency.

Therefore, I would like you to take note of the following thought-provoking facts":
1. ‘When you give life all it takes,"life gives you all it contains.’ (Bishop David Oyedepo)
2. The best of life answers to the best of man.
3. Average input can never deliver excellent outcome.
4. Life is a fertile ground": Life is a seed,"what you sow determines what you reap.
Those who sow mediocrity must reap obscurity; to sow lethargy is to harvest poverty. You cannot sow laziness and reap prominence. If you sow quality, you will reap notoriety.
5. God is a Rewarder of excellence.
God is an excellent God; He recognizes excellence when He sees it; He rewards excellence.

Beloved, you make the most of life when you give to life all it takes. Diligence or hard work is the vehicle for such excellent delivery.

I prophesy the release of spirit of excellence upon you now, in Jesus’ Name.

1. Determine to give life all it takes.
2. Embrace hard work and avoid laziness.
3. Do your work excellently: if it won’t be done excellently,"it should be left totally.

PRAYER": Lord,"deliver me from the spirit of laziness and mediocrity. Grant me the grace to give life all it takes to be a blessing to both humanity and Divinity, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

*BASIC SCRIPTURE: 2SAMUEL 16:23; 17:14-23*?

Welcome to this glorious encounter with Jehovah, the God who "manufactures" suicide for your haters! Yesterday, we looked at the evil and unusual conspiracy that arose against the anointed servant of God, David. Instead of being paralysed IN FEAR, he prayed a quiet and wise power-packed prayer, "…turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness." Ah, as 2018 ends, please catch this now: *The length of your prayer and the noise of your prayer is not going to command results as much as the wisdom and faith packed into that prayer!*

Oh! Did you get that? In crisis time, God wants you to stand in faith! See Verse 23 of our 1st scripture: "the advice of Ahithophel, which he gave in those days, was as if one had inquired at the oracle of God. So was all the advice of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom." He was well respected for his insight and wisdom! That was why David was quick to pray that prayer! I decree concerning you today: *God Will Reverse The Respect Of Your Enemies! Yes, your God will turn their BOASTING to your BOOSTING (INCREASE)!* Yea! I decree: From this day, every friend, relative, colleague, partner or confidant, who has gone the way of Ahithophel, to join forces with your conspirators, shall begin to sound like fools every time they open their mouths to speak against you in Jesus name!

There plots and plans against you shall demote them and promote you! Hear the words of wisdom in Job 5:12, "he disappoints the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise." That is the God you are serving! When the time came for God to DISAPPOINT THE DEVICES OF THE CRAFTY CONSPIRACY, Verse 12 of our 2nd scripture says, "Absalom and *ALL* THE MEN OF ISRAEL SAID, 'the advice of Hushai the Architect is better than the advice of Ahithophel." Wow! Note: *ALL the men of Israel!* Not SOME! Not MOST! *ALL! All the support of your haters will disappear very soon!* Ahithophel finally killed himself (Vs. 23).

That is why you must not miss the anointing service of this Saturday holding at the LEKKI MOUNTAIN, 8am. *Household enemies will VOMIT your blessings and GLORY!* In your valley/battle season, go ahead and condemn every evil tongue of deceit/conspiracy speaking against your destiny! Refuse depression/self-pity! In the day or at night (12 midnight, etc), CONDEMN THEM in the spirit world! I see all your "Ahithophels" hanging themselves! I see them VOMITING your glory BY FORCE! Hold on and trust God!

But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Acts 8:20

15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

MESSAGE

One of the fallacies of life is the notion that when you have money, you have everything. How untrue this is! My experiences in ministry have taught me that there is so much that money cannot do. For example, money cannot make a barren woman conceive. If you doubt this, ask the wealthy Shunammite woman (2 kings 4:8-17). It is amazing that when Elisha asked this woman what she desired, she momentarily forgot or pretended to forget that there was something she lacked which her money could not buy, which was a child (2 Kings 4:13). Irrespective of this, in 2 Kings 4:16, Elisha declared to her:

“And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.”

Why did she doubt Elisha’s declaration? It was because she considered it too good to be true! She also probably felt that whatever money could not do, nothing else could do it. I have good news for a user of this devotional: that need that money has failed to meet in your life, which you have used good money to travel across several hospitals in the world to resolve to no avail, you will receive it this season in Jesus’ Name.

I was once invited to preach in an area where the “who is who” in Nigeria reside. When I got to the particular house I was invited to and saw money in action, I decided to change my sermon to something like “It is good to bless the Lord”, because I could not imagine that family having a single need; but I was wrong. Before long, I realized that there was a problem that money could not solve in that family, so I introduced them to the God with whom there is no impossibility. At the end of the day, God solved the problem that money could ot solve for them. God will solve the problem that has defied the power of money in your life today in Jesus’ Name. Today’s Bible reading narrates the interesting story of a man who was very successful in his farming business. Although most rich men are never satisfied with the amount of wealth they possess, this particular one was so rich that he planned to retire from creating more wealth, unfortunately, he did the same night he conceived his plan. His money could not prevent death from snatching him away from enjoying his hard-earned wealth. Shame to money that cannot save its owner from death! If money cannot save from physical death, how would it save a person from eternal death? Jesus said the foolish of this rich man is applicable to those who lay up earthly treasures for themselves but are not rich towards God (Luke 12:21). Are you one of such people?



PRAYER POINT:

Father, please bestow on me blessings that surpass what money can buy in Jesus’ Name.
