RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
MONDAY 21ST JUNE.
UNBELIEF AND OBEDIENCE
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2).
The word “disobedience” in the scripture above is translated from the Greek word “apeitheia” and it means disbelief (obstinate and rebellious); it’s characteristically unbelief. So, it’s referring to the children of unbelief. It describes something that’s very much like the spirit of the antichrist.
2 Thessalonians 2:7 AMPC says, “For the mystery of lawlessness (that hidden principle of rebellion against constituted authority) is already at work in the world, [but it is] restrained only until he who restrains is taken out of the way.” “Mystery of lawlessness” refers to rebellion; a defiant opposition to God; to be highly opposed to God’s will; to God’s Word.
There’re people who, without even knowing why, find themselves doing the things they do, in defiance to God. That’s how come you find people who say, “I just don’t like Christians.” If you were to ask them the reason for such hatred, they’ll say, “Nothing; I just don’t like them.” The Bible shows us what spirit is working in such people.
1 Corinthians 2:12 talks about the spirit of the world; and it’s the same spirit we read about in our opening scripture: “...the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2). But thank God the Bible says that’s not what we received.
We received the Spirit of God and He teaches us and nurtures us in the will of the Father: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God” (1 Corinthians 2:12). Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
Now I’ve received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God that I may walk in truth and obedience. My life is Spirit-ruled and Spiritcontrolled; I’m always under the sway and regulation of the Spirit. Hallelujah!

Say these with me, “I am a Wonder to my world! My life is the manifestation of the wisdom and grace of God! I live in the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel of Christ. I am joined to the Lord and that makes me impregnable to the rudiments of this world.
I am what God says I am! I’ve been justified by faith and I walk in the light of my new life in Christ, without condemnation but as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I’ve been declared righteous, unblameable, unreprovable, and brought into the life of peace that transcends all understanding.
I am graced; my words are spirit, and they are life. They are infused with power and divine energy to prevail over life circumstances. The words of Christ dwell in me richly, in all wisdom; therefore, my words are filled with inspiration, healing, comfort, hope, love, and power. Hallelujah! My words bring deliverance to every creation in my world, taking them out of bondage and corruption, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.
I am a man (woman, boy, or girl) on a mission; a saviour from Zion, filled with divine energy to make a difference in my world. I give life to the things around me through the power of my words, for these are the days of the manifestation of the sons of God. Hallelujah!
I’ve overcome the world, the devil, and the forces of hell because I am a product of the incorruptible Word of God, which lives and abides forever. I am not ordinary; I am from the government of heaven! I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realms—a place of authority, victory, safety, and deliverance—far removed from all earthly distractions. Hallelujah!
I am a king-priest and I am “kinging” now! I live up to my calling, displaying the virtues and perfections of Christ! I exude excellence in all aspects of my life, fruitful and productive in all things by the Holy Ghost. Glory to God. Hallelujah!
God bless you
