Relegated Bournemouth accepts a ÂŁ41million bid for Nathan Ake from Manchester City
Bournemouth have accepted a £41million offer from Manchester City for central defender Nathan Ake as they look to raise funds following their relegation from the Premier League to Championship.
Â
The fee, which would be a club-record sale for Bournemouth, would see them receive ÂŁ40m upfront with a further ÂŁ1m to come in add-ons.
Â
The Holland international will now discuss personal terms with Manchester City with a deal expected to be completed in the coming days.
Â
Ake joined Bournemouth from Chelsea for a club-record fee of £20m in 2017 and had been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge, but City is now his next destination. The club is also closing in on a deal for Valencia winger Ferran Torres, 20, who has been identified as a replacement for Leroy Sane.
