The people of Kwara state went to the poll yesterday to elect their local government chairmen. The election received massive voters turnout. Election voting started 9 a.m. after voters were accredited. The results coming has it that All Progressives Congress APC has won in all local government of the state.
The Kwara LG election was generally peaceful unless in the Polling unit 015 at Oke Agodi 1 recorded cases of polling boxes snatching as the electoral officers.
Although the People Democratic Party PDP in Kwara state has accused APC of perpetrating massive rigging and other electoral frauds during the Saturday local government elections in the state.
