Cooked moi moi
On this blog, we have recipes for moi moi wrapped in leaves, cooked in bags but not this. I saw this recipe on Myne Whitman's blog and promised her that when I try it, she'll know. Fortunately, it turned out great. It was truly tasty and soft. When I saw this moi moi that
day, I just remembered my cups wasting at home.
Ingredients:
2 Cups brown beans with skin
1large smoked cat fish
5 large tatashe
2 small red pepper
1 large onion
1 small can Gino tomato paste
Salt
Seasoning cubes
Soya oil
water
Smoked cat fish, blended tatashe, pepper, onion and tomato paste
Frying blended ingredients in hot oil
Adding Ingredients to ground beans, check for salt and seasoning, add more if needed
Pouring moi moi in cups, I had to cook twice cos the pot couldn't take all. This quantity produced about 20 cups of moi moi. Pour boiling water in the pot before turning on the heat. Water should be at finger length so thatmoi moi doesn't tumble when it starts boiling. Check the pot frequently. This moi moi cooked in 45 minutes.
Second batch of moi moi. These tasted better cos I added more salt
