MAKING THE CHOICE TO LIVE

You have to make the choice to live if you must live and fulfil God’s Purpose for your life.
SCRIPTURE: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deuteronomy 30:19.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You have to make the choice to live if you must live and fulfil God’s Purpose for your life.
You are welcome to the month of March, the third month in the year 2021, our year of Release, Recovery and Replication.
Sometime ago, I read a story of a man, a child of God, who had Pneumonia that progressed into respiratory distress. On the hospital bed, he was given an oxygen mask; he was practically choking. His muscles and lungs had stopped functioning.
Then, he used his last breath, ran towards the nurses’ station and shouted, “Please, I need breath.”
He saw his soul leaving his body as if he was going to eternity. The doctors and nurses tried their best to resuscitate him but could not succeed.
Suddenly, a bright light hit him and passed through his body while he was lying on the bed. And then he heard the voice of God that asked him a question “The life that I gave you to live in this world, is this how you want to leave? The choice is yours”.
Then he said, “Lord, this is not how I want to leave. I have many things in my heart I want to do that I have not done yet”.
Then God said to him, “You have what you want.”
Suddenly, his hands and legs began to move. Then the doctor surprisingly exclaimed: “He is moving. He is alive!” That was how he came back to life.
The lesson here is that at the junction between the earth and eternity, he made a choice to live and came back to life.
Beloved, you have to make the choice to live if you must live and fulfil God’s Purpose for your life.
Remember this: You have to make the choice to live if you must live and fulfil God’s Purpose for your life.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make the choice to live so you can fulfil God’s purpose for your life.
2. Refuse and resist every sign of untimely and premature death.
PRAYER: Lord, I make the choice to live and fulfil Your purpose for my life. I reject every sign of untimely and premature death in Jesus’ Name.
