↘️ THE WORD ALIVE IN YOU

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).


Christmas means the Word has come; the Word is born. The Word became flesh and walked the streets; they beheld His glory until He was slain. But God raised Him up and showed Him openly to be alive with many infallible proofs. Now, He abides in you. Praise God!


They waited for the Word, expected His glory that the prophets spoke about; they expected His light, for gross darkness had covered the world and ignorance had gained the mastery. But then the Word came, born of a virgin and walked this earth, full of glory, grace, and truth that all men might see and believe.


But many didnt recognize Him. He asked His disciples, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? Sadly, they didnt know Him, but Peter spoke up and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16). John calls Him, the Word made flesh; He gives us the actual origin of the man, Christ Jesus, He's the Word that pre-existed creation and by whom all things were created (John 1:1-3).


 His birth brought joy to the world, a pure marvel to see the eternal Word of God wrapped in swaddling clothes; to be with, and walk amongst men! No wonder they called Him Emmanuel (God with us) (Matthew 1:23). He was born Emmanuel, but today, Hes the Word alive in you.


Every step Jesus took was the Word of God in motion; the Word personified. And the day you received Him to live in you, you became the Word in motion, for as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). No wonder Paul calls us the Epistle (Word) of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:3). Hallelujah!


?️ PRAYER

Thank you Father, for Christmas! Thank you for Christ Jesus in my life. The Word has come; Christ is born; He lived and died, to be born in my heart. He was born Emmanuel, but today, Hes the Word alive in me; He abides in me forever! Blessed be God!

 I’ve been ushered into a life that is beyond the ordinary plane of natural perception. I am full of might and ability of the Spirit. I am like a tree planted by the waters, that spreads out her roots by the river. I do not know when heat comes.





 I am prosperous and triumphant always in Christ Jesus! Hallelujah! I am well positioned; seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all the hardships, troubles, perils and corrupting influences in the world.





 I dominate and triumph over circumstances today and always. I flourish in the blessings of salvation— deliverance, divine health, preservation, prosperity, and wholeness—consummated for me by the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. 







My life is one of glory and excellence because I am one with the Father! I am a success, a victor, and a champion forever because Christ is my source, my ability, and my sufficiency. Blessed be God. Hallelujah!

THEME: SUBMISSION AND VICTORY.
 
MEMORISE:
 
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.   James 4:7
 
READ:  Matthew 8:5-9
 
5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
 
6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
 
7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
 
8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
 
9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

MESSAGE:
 
Submission goes hand in hand with victory. James 4:7 says that you should submit yourself first to God, then you can resist the devil and he will flee. In other words, if you have not submitted yourself to God, you cannot have victory over the devil. Many of us don’t want to submit to God, yet we want to cast out demons. Malachi 3:10 says we should bring all the tithes into His storehouse; we do not want to obey that, but we want God to open the windows of Heaven and just bring the breakthroughs. This will not happen because if you have not submitted to god’s conditions, you cannot get anything from Him.
 
The people in the military understand the concept very well. They know that as long as they remain submissive to their superiors, they will continue to enjoy authority over their subordinates. That is what the centurion was talking about it Matthew 8:9 when He told Jesus:
“For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.”
 
Is there any area of your life in which you have been praying and trusting God for a miracle? You may need to check your level of submission to God. Once you are completely submissive to Him, victory is sure. Saul experienced defeats and died a shameful death because he felt too big to submit to God. David on the other hand was a great king, winning many victories because he was submissive to God. He said in Psalm 40:8:
            “ I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.”
 
Wives remember that the way to get what you want from your husband is through submission, not arguments and fights. I am yet to meet a man who can resist a submissive wife. When he says something that you do not agree with, don’t go straight into argument mode, go first into submission mode. You can then suggest an alternative. This way, he will hear you out. Now, if he does not go with your idea, you must agree with him and do as he has said, but at least you know that he considered your idea. And now, having established in his mind your submissiveness, it is easier to get anything from him than when he considers you stubborn.

 *TOPIC: TAKE IT BY FORCE!* 

 
?️Life does not give you what you deserve but what you demand.

 *SCRIPTURE* ?: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12

 *THOUGHT FOR THE DAY* ?: There can be no concrete advancement in life without a deliberate determination.

It has been said that ‘Life does not give you what you deserve but what you demand’. And many times, in demanding for your right, the application of force is a necessity that can hardly be set aside. So, if possessing your possession is your desire, you must be deliberate in taking it, even by force, if necessary.

The truth is, to move, you must rise; to take your place, you must decide to rise.  There can be no concrete advancement in life without a deliberate determination. One of the major strategies of the enemy is to confine the people of God to inaction. The devil desires that the children of God exist in the realm of timidity and cowardice. But you must refuse to be resisted and confronted by the devil into lukewarmness and stagnation.

Never let any confrontation of the enemy stop your acceleration in life. Never let the enemy determine how you are to live your life. No matter the challenges and battles of life, arise and take your possession in God. 

I prophesy to you, in case the devil has confined you to a sitting position, or turned you into a timid person, a shadow of yourself; today, the ‘lion’ inside of you shall roar out, the powerful person in you shall come out, the real you shall emerge. You shall fulfil your destiny in Jesus’ Name.

 *REMEMBER THIS* ?: There can be no concrete advancement in life without a deliberate determination

*TODAY’S WORD?*
When *JESUS* came to the earth in human form, He brought with Him everything you need to be empowered to live a life of victory. He came as a little baby, but as the Son of GOD, He represented all authority in heaven and earth. When you choose to serve Him, you are no longer a part of the kingdom of the world. You become a part of His kingdom, and you have access to all His resources. You have access to His peace, power, authority, provision, joy and strength. He brought all this to us. Unto us victory is given. Unto us peace is given. Unto us provision is given. Unto us hope and healing are given. Unto us eternal life is given! 

Whatever you need today, remember, when *JESUS* came into the world, He made a way for every one of your needs to be met spiritually, emotionally and physically. Take hold of His promises by faith, knowing that He has good plans for you today!

*✍?A good life is one lived in God's way. It is life that is lived in Lin with God's purpose. The Scripture assures us that God deliberately created us for specific assignments. "God has made us what we are. He has created us in Christ Jesus to live lives filled with good works that he has prepared for us to do" (Ephesians 2:10). Your presence on earth at this material moment is not a happenstance but a deliberate design of God. He created and redeemed you in Christ to accomplish certain predetermined good works that promote His overall purpose for creation. One's life on earth is considered meaningful and fulfilling to the extent it is in tandem with the design of God. The Psalmist is even more forthcoming in his exposition of God's deliberate intention in creating each of us and designing the course of our lives. He declared, "I thank you, God for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breath-taking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord! You saw who you created me to be, before I became me. Before, I'd ever seen the light of the day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book" (Psalm 139:14;16 TPT). The simple meaning of this is that God had written a book about each of us containing every detail of our lives, including the number of days we will each live and what He expects each of us spends on earth. It therefore makes sense that at the end of every year we should look back to see to what extent we lived according to God's purpose for us during the course of the year. Doing this will us to order our lives in the coming year such that they correspond more to God's master plan for us.*
