RESTORATION TODAY
TUESDAY, MAY 12, 2020.
TOPIC: *THERE IS HOPE*
"...For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease..." Job 14:7.
*MESSAGE*
Do you remember the three things that Apostle Paul taught in the Bible that never fails? Hope is one of it. He also said that hope will never make us ashamed (Romans 5:5).
The believer's description of hope is never the same with the world. To the world, hope speaks of chance or luck. (For example, "I hope it does not rain today"). But to the believers hope is an assurance that is certain as one believes and trusts in God.
Our text today says that there is a fervent assurance of a tree that is down to rise again. This scripture is a source of life giving hope; it's telling us that we should not lose hope for there is a chance of recovering from our misfortune or our disappointments.
As believers, we are all planted in a lively hope; not the same as the world's but from a divine source. This is the heritage of those who have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; their tender branch will not cease.
*ACTION POINT*
?️ There is hope for you; never give up no matter what.
*SCRIPTURES*
Romans 5:5, Jeremiah 31:17; Hebrews 12:2.
*PRAYER POINTS*
1. Ask God for lively hope;
2. Ask God to induce the spirit of hope in the Church;
3. Pray against the spirit of doubt from you and the, Church.
*THE BIBLE OF THE YEAR*
Num. 22:39-23.25, Prov. 20:1-21.11, Jude 1
