NASA leaders said Kenya would go down the path of anarchy is there was no dialogue between them and the government
– Co-leader Kalonzo Musyoka was quoted saying they considered demos to let the government know that Kenyans are not happy – The government said they were ready to talk with NASA but not on electoral reforms as they wanted, only on Kenya’s development agenda
The National Super Alliance co-leaders threatened to return to the streets with their supporters to demonstrate in their fight for political space and freedom for Kenyans. TUKO.co.ke reliably learnt that co-leader Raila Odinga (ODM Party) said that if no dialogue was held between the government and the opposition, then the country will soon go down the path of anarchy.
According to a report by the Standard on Saturday, February 10, co-leader Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper Party) also said they were considering demonstrations to let the government know that Kenyans are not happy.
The Jubilee government has become rogue and their recent actions forced the opposition to consider street protests as a way of fighting for political space and freedom for Kenyans. Uhuru and Ruto are driving the country down the road of destruction, they only listen to themselves. This is why we are considering demos to let them know that Kenyans are not happy,” said Kalonzo.
These sentiments were uttered at the NASA leaders belief that their supporters were tired of sitting at the negotiating table alone.
