RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

MONDAY, 4TH FEBRUARY.

EMBRACE THE PICTURE OF THE NEW YOU.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:11).

Did you know that as one who’s born again, it’s wrong for you to keep seeing yourself as “a sinner?” Many live with this mentality and it reveals why they’re ineffective in their Christian walk. Now that you’re born again, your life is new and divine; therefore, embrace the picture of the new you. You’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; as Jesus is, so are you in this world.

Have a greater consciousness of your new life in Christ. That life gives you power to live above sin. You may ask, “If this is true, why do I still do wrong things and think wrong thoughts?” It’s because you haven’t fully yielded and subjected yourself to the dominion of the Word, to live in, and by the Word.
It reminds of the account in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, part of which we read as our theme verse.

The Apostle Paul rebuked some of the Christians in Corinth because their way of life didn’t reflect the new nature of righteousness they had received. Yet, he didn’t call them “sinners.” He writes, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

Notice he didn’t say, “And such are some of you…”; rather, he says, “…and such were some of you,” because now that you’re in Christ, you’ve been cleansed of all unrighteousness. You’ve been washed; separated from sin unto God, and declared righteous, in the Name of the Lord, and by the Spirit of our God!

Recognise your new identity; see the picture of the new you and live accordingly. Study and meditate on the Word; it shows your real glory; it reveals your true personality. You’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

CONFESSION

I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; therefore, I live with boldness without any sense of fear, guilt or condemnation, being confident in the Lord who is my righteousness, and in His righteousness, justifies the ungodly. Hallelujah!

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for receiving my worship, praise, and thanksgiving, sanctifying them by your Spirit. You’re magnified in my life, and Your glory has increased in my life. Thank You for an outstanding month of January, and for Your grace that is piloting me into the great future You have for me.

Thank You for the honour of my being inseparably one with You; not only have You made me Your sanctuary, I’ve also become the conveyor and dispenser of Your righteousness, mercy, goodness, and grace. I bask in the full blessings of my oneness with You, manifesting Your glory, beauty, and wisdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

MEMORISE:

MESSAGE

In the Bible, truth is presented as the nature of God which is opposed to falsehood, deception and lies. As Paul demonstrates in Romans 9:1, whenever truth is in operation, there is agreement between the human conscience and the witness of the Holy Spirit. Living a life of truth is desirable by God and receives commendation from Him. Proverb 12:22 says,

“Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.”

God is the essence of truth, and he expects this nature of His to reflect in the character of His children. He condemns falsehood in all forms, but takes pleasure in truth and honesty, which He regards as the hallmark of an upright person.

Truth always paints the picture of things without filtering them to suit personal preferences or vested interests. Unfortunately, one of the problems of leadership in the world today is the shortage of sincere counsel. To their undoing, the allure of office has proved to have a strong corrupting influence on many people around great leaders, including ministers of God. Even the best of men and women begin to exhibit sycophancy, flattery and systematic manipulation soon after introduction to the corridors of power, ad as a result, most leaders today are either starved of the truth or presented with filtered, edited or colored version of it. The Bible refers to this act as “holding the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18). Those behind this deception often claim to be acting in the best interest of their masters. They claim that keeping bad news away from them reduces their exposure to stress. Thanks be to God for the Holy Spirit who always strengthens and guides His children into all truth! There is therefore no need to filter the truth presented to leaders acting under God’s unction.

Sycophants and flatterers who are in the habit of editing or suppressing truth are definitely not working in the best interest of their masters. This practice is such a terrible act before God, and Romans 1:18 tells us that God’s wrath is against those who perpetrates it. Armed with the knowledge that any decision based on truth held back in unrighteousness is likely to be faulty, leaders in all spheres of life have the responsibility of ensuring that they are furnished with the truth at all times. Leaders should therefore endeavor to eliminate the dross of sycophancy and there shall come forth vessels of honor for the success of their God-given assignment. Whenever a leader works with the raw material of pure truth, with the help of the Holy Spirit, the end product is always a perfect result that is pleasing and acceptable to God.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, please remove obstacles and hindrances to truth in my life in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE KENNEDY CURSE: COLLECTIVE CAPTIVITY MUST END! – Part 1?

BASIC SCRIPTURE: 1SAMUEL 2:12-27?

The “KENNEDY CURSE” is a term for a series of deaths and calamities involving members of the American Kennedy family. Ted Kennedy publicly wondered whether a “curse actually did hang over all the Kennedys” during his own testimony about the Chappaquiddick incident in 1969. In 1941, Rosemary Kennedy was often believed to have been intellectually disabled, and due to her severe mood swings and the worry that she would damage the Kennedy reputation, her father, Joseph Sr., arranged in secret for her to undergo a lobotomy. The lobotomy instead left her unable to walk or speak well, and as a result, Rosemary remained institutionalized until her death in 2005. In August 12, 1994, Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. died when his plane exploded over East Suffolk, England, as part of Project Anvil during World War II. In May 13th, 1948, Kathleen Cavendish, Marchioness of Hartington died of infant respiratory distress syndrome two days after his premature birth (which itself occurred on the 20th anniversary of his father’s World War II rescue). In November 22, 1963, U.S. President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald was shot dead by Jack Ruby two days later before he could stand trial. Oh! I and my wife visited the popular WASHINGTON D.C. grave of John F. Kennedy in August 2018 just to pray there against COLLECTIVE CAPTIVITY!

Wow! The list is endless! They are known for VIOLENT DEATHS! It is a recurring pattern! Even in September 4, 2018, Christopher Kennedy Lawford died of a heart attack while doing yoga at a yoga studio in Vancouver, British Columbia. He was 63. Amazing! There are many such families on earth being ravaged with collective captivity like the family of Eli in today’s scripture. Collective captivity is something that affects your family down the line. Everybody goes through it and they will tell you, “this is how it has been.” You must as a child of God reject and refuse all forms of collective captivity because you have been BORN AGAIN into another family of JEHOVAH THE VICTORIOUS!

In the spiritual world, I no longer bear the name Chris Kwakpovwe; I answer the name “Chris JESUS JEHOVAH” – CJJ! SAME APPLIES TO YOU! And since the spiritual controls the physical, then COLLECTIVE CAPTIVITY or any RE-OCCURING EVIL cannot rule over you! For instance, today’s scripture Verse 27 says, “And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, ‘Thus saith the LORD…” Did you get that? So the origin of collective captivity in Eli’s family was one man – because he could not control his family! To add salt to injury, his children polluted the altar of God through immorality, extortion, etc. God became angry and laid curses which you will see tomorrow. As we continue tomorrow, I want you to pray the prayers below with holy anger now! TOPIC: HEALED BY HIS STRIPE


MONDAY 4 FEBRUARY,"2019

SCRIPTURE": But he was wounded for our transgressions,"he was bruised for our iniquities": the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: 

The revelation of God’s Word is key to living in Divine Health.

In our previous studies,"we saw that light is very essential to destiny fulfilment. In Deuteronomy 29":29,"the Bible says, The secret things belong unto the Lord our God": but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever,"that we may do all the words of this law.

This means, what is revealed is what can be possessed. Every inheritance which we are to possess in God is only accessed by revelation.
Therefore, revelation is key to living in abundant and sickness-free life.

Now, there are several Bible verses that show our heritage of Divine health. Our anchor Scripture is one of such passages. It is very clear from this passage that we are healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ on the Cross (Isaiah 53":4-5). This means that every beating,"whip or stroke of cane that he received transferred a particular infirmity or affliction on him. Theologians pointed out that each of the thirty nine strokes of the cane represented different categories of afflictions and diseases you can think of. The only way to take the diseases out of Him and transfer them to you is to un-beat Him; and since He cannot be unbeaten, it means, you cannot be sick or afflicted anymore because He was beaten so you can live a sickness-free life. The Stripes on Him were fixed deposits. So, any sickness the devil is trying to send into your life was already taken by Jesus before you were born.

Beloved, the revelation of God’s Word is key to living in Divine Health; believe that every sickness has been taken out of your life by the stripe of Jesus and so, you cannot be sick. This revelation is key to living in perfect health.

TOPIC: TOTAL VICTORY THROUGH PRAISE

Read: 2 Chronicles 20:21-26

MEMORISE: Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated (2 Chronicles 20:22).

EXPOSITION

The easiest way to access victory in the Kingdom of God is through praise. Praise is a powerful weapon of victory for us. But it is pity that few believers know this fact. When you are confronted with the battle of life, if you will truly praise the Lord from the depth of your heart, you will see the backside of the enemy and the battle will turn in your favour. The literal meaning of “Praise is to bless God. You ought to learn to praise (Bless) God in your situation, for your victory is in your praise. Satan hates you giving genuine praise to God because, God inhabits the praise of His people (Psalm 22:3).

It is the desire of God that all His children should move from one level of victory to the other. The moment we are committed to the realm of Praise, things begin to happen at His command. Praising God in the storm of life is called the sacrifice of praise, which is irresistible to God. King Jehoshaphat applied it and it brought victory to the people of Judas. As these people began to praise God, He rose on their behalf and completely destroyed all their enemies. Not one soldier of the enemy had survived, and not one soldier of Judah had been killed. Instead of lifting weapons to fight, they hearkened to divine instruction and lifted their voices, and with great Faith in God, they began to praise His name. Each time we praise the name of the Lord, great and marvelous things are bound to happen.

When the people of God Praise Him, infirmities, yokes, bondage and all the works of the devil are destroyed. In the realm of praise, every limitation gives way. Praise is the most powerful instrument we can use to move God. Praise has greater impact whenever we come together to offer it to God, because His throne is set whenever His people are praising Him. Paul and Silas praised God inside the prison and God brought about total victory for them (Acts 16:22-26). Your victory is sure, if you learn to praise God, no matter the situation you find yourself.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord, I praise the beauty of your holiness and your enduring mercy upon my life.
2. I pray, Oh Lord, to let your praise be in my mouth all the days of my life.
3. No matter the situations of life, God is still good and awesome and I will continue to praise you, my heavenly Father
