Morning Devotional For Tuesday 30th October
#1
Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional

A HERITAGE OF PROSPERITY

Tuesday, October 30th

...Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant (Psalm 35:27).

Every Christian has the right to be happy, prosperous, healthy, and sound. In 3 John 1:2, the Apostle John reveals the mind of the Spirit, saying, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” You don’t have to pray or beg God to prosper you; the Christian isn’t the poor trying to be rich, but the rich discovering his inexhaustible riches and inheritance in Christ.

Financial prosperity is your God-ordained right, for you’re the seed of Abraham. The Bible says Abraham was blessed in all things (Genesis 24:1); he was rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold (Genesis 13:2). Like Abraham, you’ve been blessed and enriched in all things unto all bountifulness. Galatians 3:29 says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” You’re an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ.

Being a joint-heir with Christ means all His assets and estates are yours, as much as they’re His; you own everything He owns, and guess what? He owns the whole world, including all its precious stones and natural resources! Thus, the whole world, plus its entire wealth, belongs to you. Can you dare to think and live with this consciousness?

Paul understood this; having studied the Scriptures, he concluded that ALL things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21). You don’t have to struggle for anything in life; everything you need has been granted you; there’s therefore no need to even ask for anything.

2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” This is your calling. The day you became a Christian, you accepted that call; you embraced a heritage of blessings, and endorsed the life of supernatural prosperity, success, and victories.

PRAYER

Blessed Father, what a place I have in Christ, and what joy fills my soul to know that you’ve blessed me with all I require for life and godliness! Mine is a heritage of blessings, and a life of supernatural increase, prosperity and glory in Christ Jesus. Thank you for your grace at work in me to bless and lift others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

2 Corinthians 8:9 AMPC For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ:

Psalm 16:6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant [places]; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

#AFFIRMATIONTRAIN

30TH OCTOBER.

I affirm that I am full of love because the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. I am propelled and inspired by love always; I am kindhearted, hospitable, and gracious. The flame of God’s love and compassion burns fervently in my heart! I yield myself to God’s Spirit, to be the answer to the cry of the needy.

I am moved by God’s love, and I demonstrate it profusely and unconditionally, because the Spirit of God works in me, to lift, encourage, and build others, touching them with the compassion and liquid love of Christ, to the end that they may be established in the Kingdom of God’s dear Son! Hallelujah. I am special; I’ve been ordained to lead and show many the path to divine life, through the Gospel. Thus; I am recording notable victories and achievements this year, being my year of the supernatural! I make manifest the savour of God’s knowledge in every place, reigning with Christ, and bringing Him glory today.

Hallelujah! My mindset is adjusted to think, talk and act in line with who I am —the seed of Abraham— one that’s been separated for glory and honour. I am conscious that I am uniquely different, because of God’s presence and glory in my life. Blessed be God. Hallelujah!

Good morning brothers and sisters......... TODAY Is TUESDAY
OCTOBER 2018 DAY 30 OF ODM devotional booklet for Champions......

TOPIC: CHECK YOUR OWN OXYGEN! – Part 1.
(1 TIMOTHY 4:8-16).

Tributes have been paid to Mr. Saman Kunan, a former navy seal driver who died in the attempted rescue of a group of Thai boys trapped in a cave in July this year. His body was taken aboard a C-120 plane to Bangkok and he received a royal-sponsored State funeral. The former Seal died at about 1am on Friday July 6th this year when he ran out of oxygen on his way back to the surface after placing air tanks along the two-mile route to the 12 trapped boys and their coach. That is the current method for refreshing the air supply in caves. He became unconscious while making the return journey from “chamber three”, about a mile inside the cave. A fellow driver tried to revive him but was unsuccessful.

Oh! So amazing! His job was to deliver oxygen to the trapped 13 souls. But he did not have enough on his way back after completing his assignment! Mr. Kunan, who had volunteered for the rescue and was reportedly 38, was videoed as he was boarding a plane to join the rescue mission in Chiang Rai. His last words were: “I am at Suvarnabhumi airport waiting to board the plane to join the mission in Chiang Rai. I’m accompanied by doctors from the navy and divers from Sea-World that also donated lots of diving equipment. See you this evening. We will bring the kids home.” Yes, the kids were all rescued but he never made it home! The Thai armed forces website offered condolences to Kunan’s family and wrote: “Cave diving is one of the most difficult jobs in the world.”

As we wish the soul of this hero eternal peace, what the Holy Ghost wants you to know is that: *IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO SAVE OTHERS! YOU MUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH SPIRITUAL OXYGEN TO SAVE YOUR SOUL AND YOUR LIFE’S ASSIGNMENT! Many believers keep the VINEYARDS of others but allow weeds to CHOKE their own vineyards* (See Songs of Solomon 1:6)! So sad!

Determine that you will keep your vineyard and destiny first! No wonder Larry Stock-still quipped: *“Many men today are running on adrenaline and not anointing.”* A pastor, minister or church worker, who labors day and night for others but forgets his/her own fresh oil will end up as *ICHABOD!*
A Christian who forgets his time *ALONE WITH GOD,* but is busy “winning souls” or even giving his/her church money/offerings will end up as a *DISGRACE BASKET!

Listen: As the CEO of your life, take care of your soul first! Charity begins at home (your life). Check your prayer life daily! Are you on fire or you are getting dry daily? Are you living on *PAST GLORY or you still have your *RIVER OF FRESH OIL FLOWING?
When did you really hear the voice of God last? Are you busy that you are now so scarce at the *THRONE OF GRACE? Paul told Timothy in 1Tim. 4:16 – “Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.” Did you get that? You must save *YOURSELF FIRST* before others! As 2018 ends and 2019 begins, *TAKE HEED UNTO YOURSELF!

PRAYER POINTS: Take Song 1: My Faith Looks Up To Thee…

1. In your own words, pray about today’s word as led now.

2. Holy Ghost, infuse me with FRESH FIRE! My VINEYARD of destiny will not be ABANDONED! I shall work on my salvation daily in Jesus name. *Pray about today as led now.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: TUESDAY 30TH OCTOBER 2018

THEME: LACKING PEACE?

MEMORISE:

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

READ: John 14:26-31

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

MESSAGE

One of the signs by which you know that God is with you or that His presence is in whatever you are doing is when you have peace in your heart. Peace is the state of harmony that is made available to the children of God through a right relationship with Him and a good relationship with their fellow human beings. Peace is associated with the presence of the Prince of Peace, Jesus. His presence is made manifest in the world today by the Holy Spirit. The absence of peace in a person’s life leads to fearful worry or anxiety. It is not God’s plan for a child of God to process a distressed state of mind that is filled with concern over present or future challenges. For this reason, the Holy Spirit says to us in Philippians 4:6:

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

God knows that the pressure of the needs we face in this world can rob us of His peace, and so He sent us these words to help us recognize the right thing to do when confronted with challenges. Worrying about your needs or the challenges you are confronted with will not change anything; rather it is a snare of the devil to cause sickness such as high blood pressure in people. I pray that you will not be a victim of hypertension, stroke or heart disease in Jesus’ Name.

The Bible reveals Jesus as the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). This means that wherever there is turmoil or crisis, once Jesus is invited into the situation and the presence of the Holy Spirit is called upon, a sense of wellbeing, contentment and wholesomeness will be restored immediately. This is what happened in Mark 4:39, when Jesus rebuked the storm after the disciples called upon Him:

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”

The name of Jesus and the presence of the Holy Spirit establish peace in god’s children, irrespective of the outward circumstances around them. True peace is therefore an indication of the presence of Jesus, made manifest by the Holy Spirit, in any given situation. I pray that the presence of God that brings lasting peace will abide with you today in Jesus’ Name. if you are passing through a stressful and difficult time in your life, if you are going through serious financial crises or your marriage is in turmoil, if you are experiencing psychological or emotional trauma that defies solution, it is time to call on the Name Jesus and invite the presence of the Holy Spirit into your life. As you do so, God will grant you all round peace today in Jesus’ Name.

ACTION POINT:

Make your request known to God concerning every need that has robbed you of His peace.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Jeremiah 31

Luke 12:57-13:17

AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE

HYMN 10: MY FAITH LOOKS UP TO THEE.

1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!

2. May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm, and changeless be,
A living fire!

3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.

4. When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold, sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Savior, then in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul!
