TOPIC: DISTRIBUTING” THE HOLY GHOST
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? (Hebrews 2:4).
The word translated “gifts” above shouldn’t have been translated gifts, but “distributions,” because it’s the Greek “merismos.” The Douay-Rheims translation actually renders it correctly. It says, “God also bearing them witness by signs, and wonders, and divers miracles,
What does the Scripture mean by “distribution of the Holy Ghost?” What Jesus did in John 20:22 gives us an idea. The Bible says He blew on His disciples and said, “...Receive ye the Holy Ghost”(John 20:22). He “distributed” or ministered the Holy Ghost to them. Hallelujah!
We’re ministers of the New Testament, not of the letter, but of the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:6). We’re distributors and administrators of the Holy Ghost. Recall what we read in our theme verse! Who were those that performed the signs and wonders, and special miracles? It was the Apostles! God did signs, wonders, miracles, and “distributions of the Holy Ghost” through them.
The Bible says we’re stewards or ministers of the New Testament, of the mysteries of Christ (1 Corinthians 4:1). Hallelujah! We “serve” the Spirit, the blessings of the New Testament, like that waiter who serves in a restaurant. So, like Paul, you can say, “I’m a minister of the Spirit.”
You can lay hands on someone and say, “Receive the Holy Spirit” and the person will be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit from you can go into five, ten, hundred people and more. Glory to God! This is what He’s called us to do as His ministers and ambassadors; we’re bearers of the divine order. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I’m the bearer of eternal verities, a distributor and an administrator of the Holy Ghost. I’m constantly filled with the Spirit; therefore, everywhere I go, I serve the blessings of the New Testament, filling many with the Holy Ghost and converting them into the Kingdom of God. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY:
Acts 8:14-17
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: 15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) 17 Then laid they [their] hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
2 Corinthians 3:4-6
And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God; 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

#TALKINGSESSION
Precious Father, I thank You for the message of salvation through which I’ve been made Your righteousness in Christ Jesus. And now, I am honoured with the responsibility of propagating this Gospel of Your love to my world.
I function in extraordinary wisdom—the wisdom of the righteous. I’m constantly compelled from within to tell of Your love and manifest Your grace for Your glory and praise. Hallelujah!
I thank You for Your life and nature in my spirit, and Your grace that’s at work in me mightily to walk in Your light and fulfil Your desires at all times.
Thank You for showing me the way to a fruitful and glorious life. As I respond to Your Word in agreement, my life is lifted above the crippling principles of this world, and I am catapulted from victory to victory, Hallelujah.
Thank You for the power of the Gospel, by which You’ve set me on an exciting journey of victory and success from glory to glory. My path in life is as the shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.
I live above sin, sickness, disease, lack, poverty, the economy, and economics of this world, because I live in Your Word, functioning with divine wisdom always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
God bless you
