TOPIC: YOU CARRY THE GLORY IN YOU





When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. This shall be written for the generation to come… (Psalm 102:16,18).





The only thing the Christian is yet to receive that should happen in the earth is the redemption—the transformation or glorification of his physical body.



 Meaning that we’re going to put on a new body, but that body is going to come from heaven and the Bible tells us exactly when that’s going to happen. It says, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye…we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption...” (1 Corinthians 15:52-53).





However, currently, we carry in our earthly vessels, the glory of Christ. Paul calls it a treasure; he says, “...We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7). The light of God is in you, in your spirit. You bear the perfections of Christ. Hallelujah!





The Bible says, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6). You’re truly the living tabernacle of God! Christ is alive in you. Why is this so important?





It’s because the Church has transcended the babyhood stage; we’ve come of age! We read in our theme verse that when the Lord shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory; and this shall be written for the last generation. We are the last generation; the generation called to manifest His glory in the earth. 





This is what the earth has been waiting for. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” We’re in office; we’ve taken our place of dominion, impacting our world with the glory of God.





CONFESSION



As I meditate on the Word, I’m continually transfigured; and not only do I walk in the glory of God, I am the glory of God! With this glory, I impact my world today, changing hopeless situations and shining ever so brightly in a dark world. I can never be defeated! Hallelujah!

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for enlightening the eyes of my spirit through Your Word, to see and receive every good thing that You’ve made available to me in Christ Jesus. 


I walk in the reality of my inheritance in Christ. I thank You for the revelations of Your Word that inspire faith in my spirit and produce great testimonies in my life. From the depth of my heart, I extol Your majesty and revere Your matchless Name, for You alone are worthy of all praise. 



You’re gracious and glorious, righteous, wonderful, kind, and merciful; Your loving-kindness is beyond comprehension, and Your love, unfathomable. You’re great and greatly to be praised. I thank You for the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit that You’ve given me. 


He’s the One who guides me in excellence. Your wisdom in me is the force that causes me to flourish, excel and be victorious in all things. Through fellowship with You, I’ve become sensitive to Your voice and yielding to Your promptings within me. 


Your blessed works, plans, and purposes are accomplished in, and through me. I adore You now and forever, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THEME:  A TIME TO FLEE I.

MEMORISE:
 
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. Matthew 10:23

READ:  Genesis 27:41-45
 
41 And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.
 
42 And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.
 
43 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;
 
44 And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother's fury turn away;
 
45 Until thy brother's anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?

MESSAGE:
 
If you are to achieve your purpose on earth, there is a time to run. In our Bible reading for today, 'Jacob has been mightily blessed by his father. His brother Esau however, wanted to kill him. Jacob fled. If he had not fled, all the blessings would have been wasted. In 1 Sam, 19:9-12, when David was playing for King Saul who threw a spear at him and missed, David fled. If he hadn't fled at that time, he might never have
become the king of Israel. There is a time to flee. In Matthew 2:13-15, the Bible tells us that the Almighty God told Joseph to flee with Jesus. You may think " But where were the angels? They should have
been around to protect Him."God said "flee " because there is a time to flee. Once in a while, the Almighty God Himself will tell you "I am your refuge, but for now, I say run."
 
When I was a young Pastor in the RCCG and the Lord began to move mightily in my life, the persecution from some other pastors of the Church became so much at a point that I had to flee the University of Lagos to the University of Ilorin where I continued with lecturing Job. I fled. Once, a Pastor wrote me a letter full of insults which I read to my Father-in-the-Lord - the then General Superintendent. Rather than discipline the Pastor as I had expected, he asked me to go and plead for the man's forgiveness, even though I hadn't done anything wrong. I was shocked and to be honest, it was hard for me to do. Thank God I obeyed because some time later the Pastor confessed that, having concluded that he was going to hell, he had also resolved to take me along with him. My Father-in-the-Lord had seen that this was not a fight to face, but rather one to flee.
 
When it is time to flee, flee! When you are dealing with false brethren, it is time to flee. The elders have a saying that if the enemy within cannot kill you, neither can the one without. Samson's brethren were the ones who presented him bound to the Philistines in Judges 15:9-13. When the devil could not get him through them, he decided to bring one of his daughters into Samson's internal circle and thus got him that way. When the devil is determined to bring a fellow down, he will enter into one of the fellow's brethren like he entered into Judas. Had it not yet been Jesus time to be crucified, He would have fled.
 
Flee false brethren; they are not the ones actually fighting you, it is the devil using them. If at  all you engage them, don’t forget: the internal enemy is more dangerous than the external one.

PRAYER POINT:
 
Father, expose all false brethren around me and help me to flee when it is time to flee in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: ACTIVATING THE BLESSING

SUNDAY 07TH FEBRUARY, 2021  

If the overflow is your destination, then the blessing is your pathway. 

SCRIPTURE: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:28.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If the overflow is your destination, then the blessing is your pathway. 

The blessing of God is a non-contestable secret of the overflow. If the overflow is your destination, then the blessing is your pathway. 

From our anchor Scripture, we understand that God blessed man and commissioned him to be fruitful, multiply, saturate the earth, bring it under control and subdue it. 

From this Scripture we understand that there are five outflows that accompany the blessing. Anywhere you find the blessing, five things must follow it, and these are: fruitfulness, multiplication, replenishment, subjugation and dominion.

When Adam sinned and the blessing could not function in his life, it landed on Noah (Genesis 9:1).

Genesis 9:1 says, And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

So, anytime the blessing is on your life, you must be fruitful, you must multiply, and you must overrun the earth.

Genesis 9:19 confirms this: These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

You see, just in Genesis 9:1, God blessed Noah and his sons, and right in the same Chapter in the nineteenth verse (Genesis 9:19), they had taken over the whole earth.

Beloved, I decree that by the reason of God’s blessing on your life, you shall take over; you shall overrun your territory with fruitfulness, exploits and impact in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: If the overflow is your destination, then the blessing is your pathway. 

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Ask God for the release of His blessing upon your life.

2. Make up your mind to embark on the covenant practice to access God’s blessing.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask for the outpouring of Your Blessing on my life so I can be fruitful and subdue the earth, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
