WEDNESDAY 3RD FEBRUARY 2021.

TOPIC: REIGNING THROUGH JESUS CHRIST


For if by one man’s offence death reigned BY one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).


The underlined preposition “by” is the Greek “dia,” which means “through”; we’re to reign in life through Jesus Christ. In the millennium, we’re not going to reign through Him, but WITH Him. We’ll also reign with Him in the New Heaven and the New Earth. 


The Bible says we “…shall reign with him a thousand years” (Revelation 20:6). 2 Timothy 2:12 says, “If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us.”*_ But that’s all in the future. But NOW, we reign through Him, in this life. Hallelujah!


Walk in that consciousness. Remember what the Word says in Romans 6:4: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”*_ This new life is the life of kings. Revelation 5:10 says He’s made us kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.


You’re a new person with kingly values and mentality. Look at the world differently, from the perspective of victory and reigning. The Amplified Classic version of our theme verse says we shall reign as kings in the realm of life. You’re a king; reign as one!


Rule with words; that’s what kings do. The Bible says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power…” (Ecclesiastes 8:4). Exercise dominion through words. Issue commands to Satan, and the elements of this world, and they’ll hear and obey you, because you function in, and with the dominion of Christ.

You can alter the course of events and change circumstances from the privacy of your room. That’s why you should never be moved by anything. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, you can cause them to align with the will of God through your faith-filled words. Glory to God!


CONFESSION

I’ve been graced to reign in this life, through righteousness. I make decrees and they’re established, because I function in, and with, the authority of Christ. I refuse sickness, failure, defeat and death. I reject anything that’s not of God, and endorse only that which is consistent with His perfect will for me. Hallelujah!*

#TALKINGSESSION 



Dear Father, I thank You for the Lordship of Jesus over my life; the lordship of His love. I cast myself into Your loving arms, trusting You to lead and guide me in Your perfect will for my life.


 I walk the path of success and victory only because Jesus is Lord of my life, my mind, body, finances and all that concerns me; He’s my master, lover, and friend. 



Thank You for revealing Your Word to my spirit and making me see clearly the blessed life You’ve given me in Christ, a life of faith beyond this world. I live in glory, victory, and prosperity above this world and its systems. 


I live and walk in health, prosperity, and in all the benefits of salvation in Christ. The Name of Jesus is named upon me, and I live triumphantly, from glory to glory, heaping success upon success.


 I’ve overcome the world and its systems; its troubles, predicaments, afflictions, and temptations, because greater is He that’s in me, than he that’s in the world. 



I exercise my authority in Christ over all the power and schemes of the enemy, and I’m eternally triumphant, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: BELIEVER FOR SHOW?

MEMORISE:
 
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  Matthew 7:21

READ:  Matthew 7:21-23
 
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
 
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
 
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

MESSAGE:
 
One Bible passage that amazed me when I first read it is Matthew 7:22 -23. It says that there will be so-called believers who would have been healing the sick and casting out demons in the name of Jesus here on earth, but on the last day Jesus will say to them “Get behind me you workers of iniquity. I never knew you”. Wouldn't it be such a disappointment to have done so much for God and then on the last day, when you are supposed to receive your crown, He says "I never knew you"? Since Jesus cannot lie, you then need to really be sure you have a relationship with Him while here on earth. You need to check thoroughly if your faith is truly from the heart and not just something that is for show.. The fact that you call yourself a believer is not enough, 2 Corinthians 10:18 says:
 
            "For not he that commendeth himself is approved,but whom the Lord commendeth."
 
It is not about what you call yourself; it is about what God calls you.
 
It is possible to be raising the dead and still not be a true believer, because performing miracles is a gift of the Holy Spirit, whereas Jesus said believers are identified by the fruit of the Holy Spirit. It is easy to get carried away when you start exhibiting the gifts, but you must pay attention to the fruit if you want to remain a true believer. Check your life in comparison to the fruit of the Holy Spirit as listed in Galatians 5:22-24:
 
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness; goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts."
 
Is your lifestyle in line with this Scripture? If you only read your Bible when you are to preach or teach Bible Study, you are a believer for show. If you can lead a prayer meeting for two hours but cannot pray for thirty minutes in your closet, you are a believer for show. If you only fast when the Church says you should, so that you can also say that you participated, yet you don't 'declare fasting days for yourself personally, you are a believer for show. If you condemn fornication and adultery publicly, but still indulge immoral thoughts in your heart, you are a believer for show.
Please note: no 'believer for show' will make it to Heaven.

Seeds Of Destiny


TOPIC: SPIRITUALITY: A MAJOR KEY TO DESTINY FULFILMENT

People of solid destiny are people of solid spirituality.

SCRIPTURE: And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord: Genesis 19:27.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: People of solid destiny are people of solid spirituality.

It has been confirmed through Scriptures that people of solid destiny are people of solid spirituality. We shall look at few examples:

1. Abraham

In Genesis 12:1-5, we saw how Abraham was called by God. Abraham got destiny direction on the platform of spirituality. In Genesis 19:27, we saw Abraham’s devotion to God, and his devotion to God at the place of prayer guaranteed his destiny. 

2. Isaac

Isaac was one of the greatest men of his days. In Genesis 24:63, Scripture tells us how Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening. Meditation was a major part of his life. And God keeps in perfect peace those whose hearts are stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3).

3. Jacob 

Jacob usually built altars in places where he encountered and communed with God (Genesis 28:2-22).

In Genesis 32:24-28, Jacob (a person) became Israel (a nation) at the frequency of spirituality. His life experienced a drastic turnaround at the place of prayer.

4. Job

Job 1:1 reveals that Job was a man who was perfect and upright, one who feared God and eschewed evil. This was the foundation for his life and destiny.

In Job 13:15, Job was so spiritual that he said, Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:  He resolved that nothing would separate him from God.  

Beloved, these are few examples of men in Scripture who fulfilled destiny on the platform of spirituality. 

My counsel is, ensure that you develop a buoyant relationship with God at the place of prayer.

Remember this: People of solid destiny are people of solid spirituality.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Develop your relationship with God at the place of prayer.

2. Live a consecrated and dedicated life. 

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me a pathway to destiny fulfilment. I receive the grace to maintain solid spirituality, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
