Davido Cancels Lil Frosh's Recording Contract For Assaulting Gift Camille

Davido Music Worldwide, DMW have sacked his recent signed artist, Lil Frosh from DMW record label for beating his girlfriend.

The news of the assault which was broken on Monday and since then, Davido has been trending on twitter together with Lil Frosh and his girlfriend.

According to memo sent online, Davido has sacked him from Davido Music Worldwide and canceled his contract with the Label.

Recall, Lil Frosh just recently got signed into Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), after leaving his former record label, Aloma Music Worldwide (AMW), on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.

Gift, the ex-girlfriend of singer, Lil Frosh, has broken her silence after her manager went public with the acts of domestic violence perpetrated on her by the singer. 
 
Lil Frosh was previously signed to Davido's DMW record label. His contract with DMW was terminated today after the reports of domestic violence went viral.
 

 
In a post shared on her Instagram page today October 6, Gift said she initially thought Lil Frosh was going to change when the beating started but it never stopped.
 
Her post reads

''I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE SPOKEN EARLIER

@lhilfrosh and I have been dating for almost 10 months now and he has been abusing me physically,mentally and emotionally.

At first I sincerely hoped he was going to change but he didn’t, it started with stripping me off my friends telling me who to talk and who not to talk to.

It grew to him beating each time we had an argument,he’ll beat me, smash my phone,destroy my ringlight, pour me water even film me naked and threaten to post, he has done right infront of @okikidft and it continued

This happened last 15th of September, that led to the internal bleeding in my head, confirmed by the doctors.

My manager spoke on my behalf with my permission and he is not to be blamed for anything he didn’t beg me to go and meet him no one did,not even my family ,everyone advised me but I still did what i wanted hoping for change.

My family have been doing their best to get me in the best space and best health.

Thank you to everyone that has reached out to me, has supported, and stood by me,I’m getting better now.

Video Of Lil Frosh At The Police Station After Arrest For Beating His Girlfriend

Sacked DMW artiste, Sanni Goriola Wasiu aka Lil Frosh has been spotted at the police station after he was picked up by the Nigerian police for beating his girlfriend mercilessly which sparked outrage all over social media.

A few days ago, the brother of the girlfriend of Lil Frosh leaked photos of the physical assaults on her sister which captured the lady’s bruised face and her almost closed eyes. After a preliminary investigation by Davido and the team who had signed the rapper onto Davido Music World (DMW) terminate d his contract and axed him from his camp.

Earlier today, he was arrested but as of press time, we don’t know if he has been offcially charged.

Nigerian singer, Lil Frosh has released a statement in which he apologized for his actions and also condemned domestic violence. 
 
Recall that the singer whose contract with Davido's DMW label was terminated, has been at the center of social media trends after being called out for assaulting and disfiguring his girlfriend. 
 
The singer who finally broke his silence today October 11, stated that he is on top of the situation.

Alleged physical assault: Court remands Singer Lil Frosh in Ikoyi Prison till March 2021







Nigerian singer, Sanni Wasiu, popularly known as Lil frosh, has been remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre till March 9, 2021 over the alleged assault on his girlfriend, Okeoghene Iyomaterie.
 
Recall that in October 2020, the singer who was at the time signed under Davido's record label, DMW records, was called out for subjecting his woman, Okeoghene, to physical and verbal assault while they were dating. Okeoghene in a post shared on her Instagram page, said she had been in a relationship with the musician since January 2020 and that anytime they had a disagreement, he would violently attack her, leaving her with serious bodily injuries.
 

 “He consistently slapped me on the face, kicking, pushing me on other sensitive parts. The recent attack happened in September 2020, when he attacked me and rained blow on my head with bruises on my face. I partially lost my sight and had sleepless nights. He repeatedly boasted that since he is a well-known musician he is untouchable.”

 
A suit against Lilfrosh was filed before the Lagos state Magistrate court in Yaba with the help of the International Association Of Women Lawyers, Lagos State branch.
 
At the hearing on Tuesday, February 9, the Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, adjourned the case till March 9, 2021 and ordered that he be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Center.
