A woman took to Twitter to claim Peruzzi raped her in 2012 and she gave details of how the alleged rape happened.
 
She says she is choosing to speak now due to the "boldness" of other rape victims.
 
She claims that she accompanied a friend named Aisha to visit Peruzzi in the blocks of flats popularly called 1004. She says that at night, Peruzzi tried to touch her in the room she was sleeping in with Aisha but she refused.
 
She says she changed location and went to the parlor downstairs. She claims that while she was there, Peruzzi came again after she had dozed off and allegedly tried touching her. She adds that she objected but he forcefully shifted her underwear and raped her.
 
She says she never reported to anyone because she was scared and because her parents didn't know she was in Lagos.
 
Peruzzi has not reacted to the allegations yet.

Rape Accusation: Aisha Defends Peruzzi

A woman named Aisha, who was present on the night Peruzzi's accuser claims she was raped by the singer, has defended Peruzzi while stating that the accuser is lying.

A woman took to Twitter today to accuse Peruzzi of rape. The woman claimed she followed a friend named Aisha to Peruzzi's house and, at night, while everyone was asleep, Peruzzi raped her. She said she tried to wake Aisha up but she was fast asleep.

Well, to clear his name, Peruzzi went on Instagram Live with the Aisha lady.

Aisha and Peruzzi admitted that they had a thing in the past but Aisha has now moved on.

Aisha also said that she knows Peruzzi and he will never do such. She added that she was there and her friend was not raped as she claims.

"Please, I have a son that I'm bringing up and I will not want anyone to bring up any dead story that is not true about my son, "Aisha said in the video.

"So I'm not even liking this at all. This is not a real story, like, it didn't happen at all, like, I was there, it didn't happen so please."

Peruzzi Apologises For His Rape Tweet In 2012


Peruzzi have apologize for his very implicating tweet he made in 2012, that emerged after a lady accused him of rape, even though he denied the allegations those tweets really make it hard for fans to believe his innocence.

In light of recent allegations, accusing me of rape in 2012, I want to say that I, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, strongly refute such claim. I have never and will never rape or sexually assault anybody.

The claim is false and has also been refuted by a witness who was present at the time of the allegation. Rape is a heinous and cowardly act, which I do not condone.

I’m ashamed and deeply apologetic for a series of tweets posted on social media 8 years ago.

Those tweets were irresponsible and ill-informed. I was younger and didn’t fully grasp the implications of making such statements. They are neither a reflection of who I am then, or now.

I sympathise & stand with all victims and survivors of rape. I do not take your trauma lightly. My heart goes out to the families of Uwazila, Ada, Farishina, and all other survivors who have courageously spoken about their abuse in recent times, may the Almighty heal your hearts.

It is my earnest prayer that the perpetrators be brought to book.

Once again, I sincerely apologise for those tweets, containing really stupid and insensitive statements; I take full responsibility, as I should have known better.
