Malabu scandal: Former AGF, Mohammed Adoke granted N50m bail
Embattled former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke has been granted a N50m bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja, after being arraigned over an alleged involvement in the controversial $1.2billion Malabu oil deal.
Adoke was ordered to produce a surety in like sum by Justice Abubakar Kutigi who upheld his bail request, alongside his co-defendants Aliyu Abubakar and Rasky Gbinigi.
Abubakar was granted N50m bail by the Federal High Court judge, while Gbinijie got a N10m bail. Justice Kutigi who stated that the sureties must be responsible citizens with a known source of income, added that they must be Abuja residents with a verifiable landed properties worth the bail sum.
