On Thursday 5th of April 2018, the special adviser on media and publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari posted the photos of the meeting of President Buhari and the 19 Northern Bishops and pastors under the aigeis of The Arewa Pastors Non-denominational Initiative for Peace in Nigeria, led by Bishop John Abu Richard, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. 

The leader of the group vowed to expose the pastors working against President Muhammadu Buhari and he stated that  "The alleged Islamization agenda of the present administration being echoed in some quarters in Nigeria is an opposition propaganda aimed at tarnishing the good deeds of  President Buhari.


In a swift reaction, The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, disowned the group of pastors saying they are from the South South and not from the North as they claimed and the Christian body further stated that they lack the power to speak on behalf of the pastors in the 19 Northern States.

Reverend John Hayap, CAN’s publicity secretary discloses that the Arewa pastors Non denominational initiative for peace in Nigeria is not known to the Christian Association of Nigeria in the north and cannot be said to be representing Christians in the North. In his speech, he said that thorough search has been carried out in all CAN chapters in the 19 Northern States and Abuja and they found out that the leader of the delegation and most of them resides in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

He alleged that the leader of the group is from Benue, according to findings with most of them from the South-South states.

However, more secrects were exposed when Diaspora Reporters contacted someone who is very close to Bishop Henry Sado who is among those that visited President Buhari. "Bishop Henry Sado is not a Bishop that he claim to be." He doesn't even pastor a church and he is a man from Edo State who has no business with anything in the North.

Henry Sado, the self acclaimed Bishop is in a joyful mood at the moment because he has bought a new phone of N36,000 with the money which President Buhari gave them during their visit to Aso Rock where they went to scam the president with cheap lies. Before now, Bishop Henry Sado can't receive calls with the dead phone he was using and he hasn't been on social media because of the faulty phone.

The 19 Northern Bishops and pastors under the aigeis of The Arewa Pastors Non-denominational Initiative for Peace in Nigeria are criminals, under the guise of church leaders. They don't represent the Christian body in anyway. They are interested in what they will get from the government even if it will cost them their conscience. "They put on cassock to appear as anointed men of God whereas they are possessed by the spirit of mammon" What a shame!

Where were The Arewa Pastors Non-denominational Initiative for Peace in Nigeria when Fulani herdsmen were and are still slaughtering innocent Christians in the North. Are they not aware that their daughter Leah Sharibu is still under the captivity of Boko Haram because she refuses to renounce her faith. It is a cliché to say that the problems of Christians are fellow Christians, and that's what it is.
