Policeman Shoots Soldier Dead In Delta. Gets Arrested (Graphic Photos) - Edoman - 03-22-2018 A mobile policeman guarding an oil facility operated by Shell Petroleum Development Company has been arrested after reportedly killing a soldier in Odimodi community, in the Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday during a misunderstanding between the two men. The policeman was said to be on duty with the soldier at an oil facility operated by Shell Petroleum Development Company. Witnesses had reported that the two security men engaged in a fierce exchange of words while other members of the security team were said to have gone on a patrol of oil facilities in the area at the time. It was gathered that the heated argument was followed by multiple gunshots a few minutes later. According to reports, the policeman, after killing the victim, shot continuously into the air to scare away residents before absconding with the victim’s rifle. The policeman has been apprehended and has been handed over the police for further investigations.
