Bandits reportedly invade church in Kaduna, kill worshippers - Edoman - 04-25-2021 Bandits reportedly invade church in Kaduna, kill worshippers on April 25, 2021 Gunmen suspected to be bandits have reportedly invaded a church in Chukun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing an unspecified number of worshippers. DAILY POST gathered that the incident occurred on Sunday morning. Details of the incident was still sketchy as at press time. When contacted by DAILY POST correspondent to ascertain the name of the church and confirm the incident, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige said, “I will find out and get back to you”. LIB reported that the heavily armed gunmen stormed the church stormed the church on motorcycles around 9 am on Sunday morning, April 25 and shot sporadically at the worshipers. The State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed the incident said four other worshippers were abducted in the attack. Also confirming the incident, spokesperson of the Kaduna State Police Command, Mohammed Jalige said one Shehu Haruna was injured in the attack.
