Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy, has revealed that she’s dragging Davido’s Personal Assistant, Isreal, to court for alleged libel and defamation of character.
Recall that Israel of DMW had earlier came out to give reasons behind singer, Zlatan Ibile and DJ Cuppy’s fight.
According to him, trouble started after DJ Cuppy in 2019 released a hit song ‘Gelato’ featuring Zlatan which made waves at the time.
Things became sour between both artistes which led to DJ Cuppy outburst on social media after she was blocked by Zlatan on every platform.
Zlatan, who kept mute, made things worse on Thursday as he denied ever knowing DJ Cuppy during an interview.
This got Nigerians talking as some criticized Zlatan for his response.
However, Isreal, Davido’s Personal Assistant, in a post via his Instagram account, commended Zlatan for his response, revealing that DJ Cuppy was a fake friend.
According to him, the daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola used Zlatan and never paid him despite the billions received from their hit collabo.
Reacting, DJ Cuppy in a post via her Twitter account on Monday revealed that she’s suing Israel for defamation of character.
According to her, there have been no breaches of her contractual agreement regarding the song, Gelato as confirmed by her lawyers.
“For the record there have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyers.
“However, as @IsrealDMW publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation!
“See you in court Isreal,” she said.

Actress Etinosa took to her Instastories to shade Davido's aide, Israel Afeare, after DJ Cuppy threatened to sue him over his comment about her music collaboration with Zlatan.
In her post, Etinosa without mentioning his name wondered why he would interfere in a matter that does not concern him. See her post below

Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy has begun legal proceedings against Davido's aide, Israel Afeare, over the comment he posted on Instagram a while back alleging that singer, Zlatan didn't make a dime from his collaboration with Cuppy.
Israel made the allegation after Cuppy took to Twitter to reveal that Zlatan has blocked her on WhatsApp and Instagram for over 10 months without telling her what wrong she did to him.

Israel took to his instastories to give what appeared to be the scoop for the Frosty relationship between Cuppy and Zlatan. He alleged that Zlatan didn't make a dime from their music collaboration, 'Gelato' in 2019. This made Nigerians drag Cuppy on social media, accusing her of being ''greedy.''

Cuppy isn't taking the allegation lying low.
She got her lawyers from Babajide Koku and Co to write to Isreal, demanding a letter of apology and withdrawal of his statement that will be shared publicly.
She is also demanding a letter of undertaking to cease and desist from publishing these allegations or similar allegations.
The letter adds that he will compensate her.
The letter stated that further actions will be taken against him if he fails to respond to the demands within five days of receiving the letter.
