Man tries to kidnap 11years old girl in Mitcham arrested (photo) - Edoman - 11-04-2020 Tragedy averted as Instagram user followed and filmed a man and the little girl he abducted in broad daylight until he left the girl and ran away (videos) An 11-year-old girl was able to prevent a possible kidnapping after she noticed a man with his hand over a little girl's mouth.   The 11-year-old was on her way to school in Mitcham/Colliers Wood in London, England, when she noticed the man with the girl so she immediately notified her mother and elder sister.   The women pursued the man and he pretended he knew the girl and continued walking away with her.   But the concerned women didn't give up and they continued following him.   He finally released the girl to them and when the girl was free of him, she broke down in tears and said she doesn't know the man. She said she was on her way to school when the man accosted her.   According to reports, "when they caught up with him, he had already had the girl perform sexual acts on him and was attempting to remove her clothes".   CCTV footage shows the man walking up to the girl from behind and covering her mouth as she walked to school. He then forced her into a side street.   The sister of the girl who raised the alarm shared updates on Instagram.     The man has been named as Kadian Nelson, 26, and the Met Police have urged him to hand himself in "for his own safety" amid reports he's being hunted by groups of people.     According to Met Police, Kadian Nelson is a rape suspect and is wanted in connection with an attack on a teenage girl in south-west London.   The Met Police, which earlier released an image of Mr Nelson, appealed for him to come forward.     Det Supt Owain Richards also urged those "attending various addresses" in a bid to find him to "go home".   "Do not try to take the law into your own hands or you may end up doing something you regret and potentially face police action yourself," he said.   Officers said the victim was reportedly assaulted shortly after 07:00 GMT near North Place, Colliers Wood on Tuesday, November 3.     Swipe below for videos showing the incident.     RE: Man tries to kidnap 11years old girl in Mitcham (photo) - Edoman - 11-04-2020 Update: Police arrest man who abducted teenage schoolgirl in broad daylight and forced her to perform sexual acts on him A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the abduction of a teenage girl in south-west London.      The suspect, Kadian Nelson was arrested by officers in nearby Tooting at around 8pm on Tuesday November 3 after police launched an appeal to track him.    The victim, an 11-year-old girl was on her way to school in Mitcham/Colliers Wood in London, England, when she was kidnapped by the alleged suspect and forced to perform sexul acts on him.    She was saved from further agony by a lady who filmed and confronted the man when she spotted them together. See previous story and video here.     Police said Kadian is being held on suspicion of rape following a call from a member of the public.    The arrest comes as officers from the South West Command Unit carried out extensive enquiries to locate the alleged attacker after police were called to the North Place area of Mitcham just after 7 am on Tuesday following the suspected rape of a teenage girl.   The victim and her family have been informed that a suspect has been arrested and remains in custody, police said.   In a statement on Tuesday night, November 3 Mitcham and Morden MP Siobhain McDonagh MP said: ‘My heart goes out to the young girl who was abducted in Mitcham on her way to school this morning.    ‘The extraordinary bravery of a lady who followed and filmed them has almost certainly saved the victim from even further distress and has provided the police extremely important evidence for what I sincerely hope will be the swift apprehension and the early arrest of the attacker.’
