Osinbajo inaugurates secondary health facility in Akwa Ibom - trustangel - 09-26-2017
Hospital services in Akwa Ibom State have received a boost as Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, inaugurated a General Hospital in the state. He described the hospital as an outstanding people-oriented project.
The Presidency host Eid al-adha lunch at the Banquet hall, State House, Abuja Sunday
Speaking during the inauguration, Osinbajo, who congratulated the Akwa Ibom State government on its developmental strides, stressed the need for governors to implement policies and programmes that will cater for the health needs of the people.
Osinbajo explained that the initiative was the kind of project that makes governance worth -while, expressing delight that the project was ongoing in other eight locations across the state.
“I want to congratulate the people of this community for this wonderful project and I pray that the Almighty God will enable you to complete all you have set your heart to do in all the local governments in the state,” he added.
Earlier, Governor Udom Emmanuel said that the hospital was one of the grassroots projects undertaken by his administration.
