Lagos police arrests six suspected cultists in Ikorodu (photos)

The Police Operatives attached to the Ikorodu Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested one Fatai Kalejaiye while initiating one Kolapo Ayeobasan into a cult in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said Fatai, who has confessed to being a member of Eye Confraternity, was caught while performing rites of initiating the second suspect, Kolapo.
Adejobi added that police operatives attached to Ipakodo Division, Ikorodu, have also arrested four suspected cultists namely Sunday Mesagan, 16, Damilade Matiminu 24, Oladimeji Orimoloye 19 and Akinmoye Emmanuel 24.
Adejobi said the arrest was made following complains received from one Temidire Ogunbajo, of No 4, Abejoye Street, Majidun, Ikorodu area of Lagos State, that some suspected armed cultists invaded her house and attacked her and other residents of the Majidun community, Ikorodu, at about 8.30pm on April 16.
