Outrage as multiple cameras are found hidden in rooms in an Ogun hotel (video)







Guests who lodged in a hotel in Ogun state have gone on Instagram to express outrage after finding cameras in the rooms they lodged in the hotel.
 
The cameras were hidden in the AC, such that it was difficult to notice it.
 
The occupants of the rooms who discovered 5 cameras in the rooms they lodged in questioned why cameras should be in rooms, thereby denying guests their privacy.
 
One of the men is seen lamenting that the camera has obviously captured his mother's nakedness because she leaves the bathroom for her room naked.

Femi Branch and his co-stars call out hotel with cameras in bedrooms and ask police to investigate (video)







Actor Femi Branch has named the hotel where cameras were found hidden in rooms and he, alongside his co-stars, called for an investigation.
 
The actor pointed out that people expect privacy in hotels and as a reault, they count money in their hotel rooms and make calls revealing some sensitive information, not knowing they are being filmed.
 
He called on the Nigerian police to investigate the hotel, adding that if anyone has been robbed after leaving the premises, the hotel should be held responsible.
 
Comedian Lepacious Bose and actress Bukky Wright also called for the hotel to be investigated.

Ogun Police summons owner of hotel where cameras were found planted in guest rooms







The Ogun State Police Command has summoned a hotelier after guests found cameras hidden in guest rooms.
 
The police said it has commenced investigation into the actions of Pavillion Hotel, located in Ayepe, in the Odogbolu area of the state.
 
This comes after a number of actors and actresses called for an investigation after guests of the hotel discovered at least five cameras hidden in ACs in different rooms (read here and here).
 
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said: "The owner of the hotel stays in Lagos and the Divisional Police Officer in Odogbolu has invited him. We are expecting him to come and state his reasons for doing so."
