Photos show BBNaija’s Laycon present in support of Nengi during ‘Jowo’ video shoot




• BBNaija Lockdown stars Laycon and Nengi have posted photos showing that Laycon was present during Jowo video shoot.

• Although, the BBNaija 2020 winner didn’t make appearance in the video.
Some photos are making rounds on the internet and they’re that of Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown reality television show winner, Laycon alongside his colleague, Nengi during Davido’s ‘Jowo’ music video shoot.

You could recall that Davido officially dropped Jowo video today, Friday, December 4, hours after sharing a snippet of it indicating that it starred BBNaija star and Bayelsa State beauty queen, Nengi.
Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo, RMD also made a stunning appearance in the video.


Taking to her Instagram story, Nengi shared one of the photos which had her and Laycon exchanging smiles at each other.

Nengi: How I Got Into Davido’s 'Jowo' Music Video 

Big Brother Naija star Nengi has shared the story of how she got to feature on singer Davido’s ‘Jowo’ music video, Igbere TV reports.

The 22-year-old revealed this in a Twitter thread on Monday.

She said the ‘Fem’ crooner reached out to her that he wanted her on a project

“Fun fact about #JowoVideo when Davido told me he wanted me on a project I didn’t know what it was cause he didn’t say ..I was asking myself what could it be as you all know your girl ain’t a singer,” she wrote.

Nengi in another tweet said, “But later on finding out I was going to be the star lead in jowo video I couldn’t contain the excitement. Bruh my first paid musical video set after the show came from my Favorite artiste.”

Born Rebecca Hampson, Nengi worked alongside Nollywood actor RMD on ‘Jowo’ music video.

‘Jowo’ is the second track on Davido’s A Better Time album.

ABT was released on November 13, 2020.
