Awolowo's eldest child, Tola Oyediran, dies at 79

Rev Tola Oyediran, the eldest child of late Western Region Premier, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, is dead.
Family sources say late Oyediran died around noon today Friday, October 16. She was 79 years old.
Late Oyediran who would have turn 80 on December 1st, was said to have been hale and hearty.
Until her death, she was the Chairman, Board of Directors of African Newspapers of Nigeria ( ANN) publishers of Tribune titles.
Her death leaves Dr Olatokunbo Awolowo-Dosunmu as the only surviving child of the Awolowo dynasty.
