Recall that Gov Obiano promised that, "We shall commence the fumigation of the 63 markets in Anambra State while the traders are at home. This will help to reduce the toxicity of the business environment and minimize the exposure of our people to different kinds of infections".

Here's an amateur video of the team at the Main Market in Onitsha which is the biggest market in West Africa.

Obiano Commences The Distribution Of Rice To 181 Communities In Anambra (Photos) 


Anambra State Govt begins the distribution of Bags of Rice as promised by Gov Obiano to cushion the effect of the lockdown occassioned by COVID19 pandemic.

Each of the 181 Communities in the State are expected to receive 200 bags of rice to share to all the elderly persons aged 70 years and above.

In addition to the bags of rice, the Governor ordered that each community should also receive bags of salt and cartons of tomatoes.

Obiano has done the correct thing here by commencing the distribution of rice to these communities. Hopefully, the Pest Control Hampstead company can get in on this distribution act, as well. That would be great.
