Funke Akindele reveals why they held a houseparty, deletes tweets after being dragged (see screenshots)






Funke Akindele has revealed why she and her husband JJC Skillz, threw a houseparty to celebrate his 43rd birthday, despite calls for social distancing amid Coronavirus pandemic. 
 
LIB reported earlier that the birthday party took place on Saturday April 4, at the actress' home in Amen Estate. From videos shared online, singer Naira Marley and other friends turned up for the crowded birthday party. 
 
Following the controversy the birthday party incited and calls for the actress' arrest, Funke Akindele has explained why she held the birthday party. According to the actress, most people who turned up for the birthday party had been camped in Amen estate before the lockdown order issued by President Buhari on March 29. Funke Akindele added that they are all safe and happy.

JJC Skillz has backed his wife, Funke Akindele on why they held a "crowded" houseparty on his 43rd birthday yesterday April 4. 
 
In a video he shared, JJC who described the houseparty as a "surprise turn-up", said everyone who attended the party at their house in Amen Estate, Lagos are safe and sound. He backed his wife's claim of some of the attendees being camped in the estate, before President Buhari's lockdown order.
 
JJC Skillz also revealed that most people who attended the birthday live in same estate with them. He showed off Naira Marley's house and disclosed that the singer and comedian Akpororo who attended the birthday party, live in same estate with them. 
 
He also said actress Eniola Badmus self-isolated in an apartment in the said estate upon her return from the UK.
