RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

WEDNESDAY 5TH FEBRUARY.

PECULIAR LINEAGE OF CHAMPIONS

And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens... (Hebrews 11: 32-35).

The Christian isn’t born after the first Adam, but after the second and last Adam, Jesus Christ. The first Adam was a failure, but the second Adam, in whose image we’re born, and whose likeness we share, is an eternal victor. He heads up a new lineage of champions.

When you grasp this truth, you’ll never consider failure in anything you do. This is because the life He’s given us, the life you have in you, can’t fail. The word, “Can’t” isn’t even strong enough: It DOES NOT fail! Failure isn’t consistent with it.

Think about it this way: Cats don’t bark, because it’s not consistent with their nature. So, even if we found one that could, it’s wrong. Likewise, if you found a Christian that failed, it’s unnatural. We don’t give up! It doesn’t matter how low in the valley we get; we get back on the mountaintop. You can’t knock us out, because we’re a chosen breed; a peculiar people. Hallelujah!

You belong to the generation of “more than conquerors”; therefore, even now, declare out loud: “I know who I am. I’ve found my place in Christ and my inheritance in Him. I’m a success forever. Sickness, poverty, discouragement and fear aren’t consistent with my nature. I have, and exercise, dominion over all circumstances and the adversities of life. Blessed be God!”

Jesus didn’t die for nothing. He didn’t die to produce failures, weaklings and victims. He died to raise a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar breed of victors. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Precious Father, I thank you for choosing me for a life of greatness! I live a glorious and transcendent life because I’ve found my place in Christ. I know who I am: a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, God’s own purchased special person, ordained for a life of excellence and manifesting the fruits of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

1 Peter 2:9 AMPC But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Deuteronomy 14:2 For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that [are] upon the earth.

#TALKINGSESSION

5TH FEBRUARY.

KINDLY SAY THESE WORDS OUT LOUD.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for filling my heart with joy unspeakable, and full of glory. I live joyfully today, knowing that You’re my God, and You delight in me, rejoicing over me daily with singing.

Your joy in my spirit is my strength! Thus, I live victoriously every day as I continually maintain a joyful spirit.

I thank You for opening doors of opportunity for me to be a blessing to my world today. By Your Spirit, and through Your wisdom, I identify and carry out those things You’ve ordained me to do that’ll better my world, and bring glory to Your Name.

My faith in You is the power to change my world, and frame the circumstances of life to conform to Your destiny for my life! I am not a victim in this world, for I possess the power to determine the course of my life according to the Word of God.

Thank You blessed Father, for giving me a purpose and a destiny in You, which I live to fulfil today, and every day. I am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, holy and a peculiar treasure unto You.

I was born to reign and rule in life with the dominion of the Spirit. Through my words, I effect changes in the realm of the spirit and cause circumstances and situations to align with Your plan and purpose today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God bless you

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE:  WEDNESDAY 5TH FEBRUARY 2020.

THEME: LET YOUR MODRATION BE KNOWN III.

MEMORISE:

We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. James 3:2

READ: James 3:2-13

2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

MESSAGE

In Isaiah 40:31, Christians who wait upon the Lord are compared to “an eagle” – often referred to as the “king of birds”. There are many kinds of birds; why did the Lord choose the eagle and not the parrot or some other kind for this illustration? The answer is not far-fetched. Several distinguishing factors set the eagle apart from the parrot and indeed other birds. While an eagle is big, strong and high flyer, parrot is weak and cannot fly as high. While one may enjoy the company of a parrot, when serious issues are to be discussed, it is usually shut out while “an eagle” is invited. Are you a parrot or an eagle?

The eagle does not talk much; it tends to act instead. It doesn’t move with a flock, like many people with gossip cliques today. Perhaps this is why it soars above storms- it has immense ability to use the storms to its advantage. How you use your mouth can determine if you will overcome a storm or be subdued by it. Watch it! Talk only when necessary.

He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. Proverbs 13:3

Going by the above, the less likely you are to get into trouble and vice versa. Words are powerful, so be careful with them. You cannot retrieve any utterance. Matthew 12:36 says we shall be held accountable for every idle word we speak, so always think before you speak. You don’t have to response every time you are criticized. You don’t have to always say what’s on your mind. Bridle your tongue before it puts you in trouble.

Ask yourself: why do I talk too much? For some, it’s because they like noise and cannot stay quiet. Some want to impress; others talk to show they are good debaters and yet others, to display how current they are. If you talk too much, control your tongue or excuse yourself whenever you find yourself in such situations and soon enough, you will find yourself talking less and with moderation.

REFLECTION:

Be careful of what you say, when you say it, how you say it, where you say it and to whom you say it.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Exodus 19-21

AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE

HYMN 20: NEARER, MY GOD TO THEE.

1. Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee!
E’en though it be a cross that raiseth me,
Still all my song shall be, nearer, my God, to Thee.
o Refrain:
Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee!

2. Though like the wanderer, the sun gone down,
Darkness be over me, my rest a stone;
Yet in my dreams I’d be nearer, my God, to Thee.

3. There let the way appear, steps unto Heav’n;
All that Thou sendest me, in mercy giv’n;
Angels to beckon me nearer, my God, to Thee.

4. Then, with my waking thoughts bright with Thy praise,
Out of my stony griefs Bethel I’ll raise;
So by my woes to be nearer, my God, to Thee.

5. Or, if on joyful wing cleaving the sky,
Sun, moon, and stars forgot, upward I’ll fly,
Still all my song shall be, nearer, my God, to Thee.

6. There in my Father’s home, safe and at rest,
There in my Savior’s love, perfectly blest;
Age after age to be nearer, my God, to Thee.

SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL

BY DR PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE

WEDNESDAY 5TH JANUARY, 2020

TOPIC: CRITICAL DISCOVERIES TO MAKE IN LIFE
SCRIPTURE: The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Until your identity can be defined by you, obscurity remains your portion.
We have been on the journey of exploring the profits of discovery.

In addition to the different profits of discovery mentioned previously, it is also important to know that discovery is cure for deficiency and shortage. Our anchor Scripture establishes the fact that discovery is cure for deficiency and shortage. Revelation is a magnet of possession. There is something that can travel in your direction if a fresh light comes upon you.

Now, what discoveries are you to make?

1. Discover whose you are.
Who owns you? The God you are serving, do you know Him? (Daniel 11:32, Philippians 3:10). Knowing God is a continuous process. The more you discover the God you are serving, the more authority you gather.

2. Discover who you are
In John 1:22-23, when the Pharisees sent people to John, the people asked him, who are you that we may give an answer to them that sent us? That is to say, what do you say of yourself? He said, I am the voice…; he did not say, I am a voice. That is, that voice that Isaiah spoke about, the voice of one crying in the wilderness, make straight the way of the Lord… that voice you read about, I am the one.
Beloved, until you know who you are, nobody has the right to know who you are. Until your identity can be defined by you, obscurity remains your portion.

3. Discover what is yours.
You must know what is yours. Divine health is yours (Isaiah 53:5). Supernatural supply is yours (Deuteronomy 8:18), Deliverance is yours (Galatians 3:13). Divine direction is yours (John 10:27). The anointing is yours (1 John 2:20). Favour is yours (Psalm 5:12).

Beloved, endeavour to know God, yourself and what is yours. You shall succeed in Jesus’ Name.
REMEMBER THIS: Until your identity can be defined by you, obscurity remains your portion.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Know whose you are. Let it be confirmed that you belong to God totally; do not glorify the devil and still think you are God's own.
2. Know who you are; do not allow the devil to intimidate you with his lies.
3. Make demands on what is yours.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: KEYS TO DESTINY FULFILMENT
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for making me in Your Image. I walk in the realm of fulfilment, freedom and prosperity. And I take delivery of what is mine, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Deuteronomy 15-18.
QUOTE: Who you are determines your success. Your identity determines your prosperity. Culled from WHO ARE YOU? by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: The brain waves of two musicians can synchronize when performing together.
TODAY IN HISTORY: 05/05/1837: Dwight L. Moody, American evangelist and publisher, founder of Moody Church, Moody Bible institute, and Moody Publishers, is born.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: Proceed into the realm of exploits by a deeper revelation of God in Jesus’ Name.

*OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL*

_A DAILY DEVOTIONAL BOOKLET FOR CHAMPIONS_

*DATE: WEDNESDAY 5TH FEBRUARY, 2020*
*TOPIC: HAKUNA MATATA!*

*BASIC SCRIPTURE: JOSHUA 1:1-9*

_Hakuna matata_ roughly translates to “there are no troubles in Swahili language. The phrase was popularized in English by the 1994 Disney movie *_‘The Lion King,'_* where it’s translated as “no worries.” It has a connotation of not worrying about things outside a person’s control.

The characters in that film were trying to convince the young lion king that the past is the past and nothing good can come from it by dwelling on it. You can’t change it and most of the time, it just hurts you anyway. It is best to ignore the past and move on AFTER LEARNING FROM IT. Yes! I believe too that the phrase: DON’T WORRY – HAKUNA MATATA is in the Bible! In fact, this devotional is built daily around the philosophy of “STOP THE WORRY!

ALL YOU CAN DO IS ALL YOU CAN DO AND WHAT YOU CAN DO IS ENOUGH FOR GOD!” How do you fathom delivering all of God’s people from Egypt, the Commandments, and the crossing of the Red Sea? It seemed awfully intimidating to Joshua. So, what is
the secret of  “moving on in High Water?

 Is it Hakuna Matata? I don’t rightly know, but I believe God’s Word has some advice for us concerning how to move forward when the obstacles of life seem insurmountable! Two Of of “HAKUNA MATATA” are found in Joshua 1:7-9 – A. Be Courageous as well as Strong!

B. DO NOT ALLOW THE TO DEPART from your eyes – meditate daily on it! It will give you HOPE and COURAGE which paralyzes WORRY! Joshua 1:8 – “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night…”

Hear Catherine Pulsifer: “The only thing you will ever accomplish by worrying is to elevate your stress levels.” Leo Buscaglia opined: *"Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.”* What’s the use of worrying? You are more than a LION KING! You are the KING’S KID! Your Father knows and sees all things before they happen to you! So pack up your troubles in your old kit-bag, and smile, smile, smile while you sing daily, “HAKUNA MATATA!

*52 PROPHETIC MANTLES-IN-ACTION! One special mantle for each Sunday. 52 weeks in a year! The Lord gave me a command to release 52 Mantles this year (every week). To be prayed on the ALTAR of the MANNA MOUNTAIN LAGOS. Testimonies are rolling in! Don’t miss any! This is your year!*

*PRAYER POINTS:* Take Song 3: Blessed assurance…
1. In your own words, pray over today’s word as led now.
2. HAKUNA MATATA! I repent from worrying over issues that have not changed or that I CANNOT CHANGE.
3. HAKUNA MATATA! I choose to be happy by force! The joy of the LORD is my strength!
4. Joshua 1:8 – Lord, turn me into Your SHOWROOM OF PEACE
as I spend time with Your WORD this year!
5. HAKUNA MATATA! Satan, you are a liar! All will be well with me! I shall be ELEVATED by my God this year! I refuse to cry over what I cannot change. I know my Father God is working all out and it will be beautiful IN HIS TIME! *Pray about today seriously now! USE THE PAGES 7-9 PRAYERS.*

*THE BIBLE-IN-ONE-YEAR: NUMBERS 1-3*
*BY: BISHOP DR. CHRIS E. KWAKPOVWE (CEK)*
_PUBLISHER/WRITER_

*Song 3. Blessed Assurance*

1. Blessed assurance; Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
born of his spirit, washed in his blood.

*Refrain:*

_This is my story, this my song,_
_Praising my savior all the day long;_
_This is my story, this is my song,_
_Praising my savior all the day long._

2. Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

3. Perfect submission, all is at rest,
I in my savior and happy and blest;
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with his goodness, lost in his love.
