First lady, Aisha Buhari and former First lady, Patience Jonathan, were pictured at a ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the demise of former first lady, Maryam Babangida.
 
Both women put their political differences aside and were cordial at the event which was organized by daughter of the deceased, Aisha Babangida.
 
The event had in attendance other former first ladies like Turai Yar'Adua, Justice Fati Lami Abubakar and others.

Patience Jonathan visits Aisha Buhari (photos)







Former First Lady, Patience Jonathan on Monday February 10 visited her successor Aisha Buhari, at the state house in Abuja. 
 
Aisha Buhari who tweeted about the visit, said they discussed greater involvement of women in politics and at lower level of governance.
 
The First Lady also revealed that they discussed about the girl child education, Patience Jonathan's pet project "women for change”, as well as her predecessor's experience during her husband, Goodluck Jonathan's administration.  
 
Aisha added that she listened to Patience Jonathan's perspectives on issues affecting women and children in the society.
