The Green Bay Packers continued to add to Matt LaFleur’s coaching staff this week Kenny Clark Jersey , reportedly making another hire on Friday afternoon. According to Packersnews.com’s Jim Owczarski, the team is bringing over Kirk Olivadotti from Washington to be their new linebackers coach.Olivadotti spent two stints in Washington, most recently coaching inside linebackers from 2014 to 2018. In that span, he helped develop college safety Su’a Cravens into a productive linebacker, and he could be asked to work similarly with the Packers’ Josh Jones. Prior to returning to Washington in 2014, he coached the linebackers at the University of Georgia, where several of his players became NFL draft picks.Olivadotti also held several other posts for Washington between 2000 and 2010, including linebackers coach when the team ran a 4-3 scheme. He had one year of overlap with Matt LaFleur there, in that 2010 season when both men worked under head coach Mike Shanahan. Early reporting had North Texas cornerback Nate Brooks as a signing and Rouse as a tryout player; however, Rouse is on this list as a confirmed signing, while Brooks is not. It appears that Brooks changed his mind and decided to sign with the Arizona Cardinals instead of the Packers — he retweeted this tweet about an hour before the Packers announced the UDFA group.As a result of these signings, the Packers’ 90-man roster officially sits at 88 players, a number that includes the four selections from the 2019 NFL Draft who have signed their rookie contracts already and the four who remained unsigned at the present time. That means that there are two slots potentially available for tryout players this weekend.
