The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Joseph Yobo as Super Eagles’ Assistant Coach.
Yobo replaces Imama Amapakabo who was standing in for Salisu Yusuf, TVC reports.
DAIlY POST recalls that the former Enyimba and Kano Pillars coach was found guilty of receiving an amount of money reported to be around $1000.
Yusuf was caught collecting money to influence his team’s selection for the 2017 WAFU Cup in Ghana.
The NFF Ethics Committee sanctioned him with a fine of $5000 and a one-year ban from football-related activities.
