The 17-year-old who was born in Munich, Germany to a Nigerian father and Romanian mother has scored eight times in just 13 appearances while out on loan in Austrian Bundesliga 2 this season with Liefering from RB Salzburg.

Spanish giants Barcelona are said to be very interested in signing Karim Adeyemi with academy director Partrick Kluivert considering a move for the talented striker.Â

Adeyemi who started his club career with FC Bayern MĂĽnchen, joined Salzburg from SpVgg Unterhaching in July 2018 for ÂŁ2.8million following a two-year spell in Bayern Munich's academy between 2010-12.
