RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

TUESDAY, 23RD JULY.

BRING GOOD THINGS TO PASS

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment (Matthew 12:35-36).

In Proverbs 16:29-30, the Bible says, “A violent man…shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.” Think about that! It says the evil man shuts his eyes and devises evil; moving his lips, he brings them to pass. In other words, he uses his imagination to devise wickedness, and establishes them with his mouth. It’s talking about the principle of meditation; it works both in the positive and in the negative.

God is showing us how the evil mind works, and therefore, how good works. Just as an evil man can work this principle and produce results, a good man can also put the principle to work and produce good results. That means you can use your imagination; shut your eyes and devise wonderful and glorious things.

Practise this. Your imaginative power is your creative ability. Every so often, shut your eyes, and meditate; contrive pictures of great things; possibilities from the Word of God, and begin to speak them forth. Use this principle to create a beautiful life for yourself and those around you.

It’s one of the many reasons and benefits of prayer, because when you pray, you see visions of the Spirit. When you see those visions, write them down, and bring them to pass with your faith-filled proclamations.

We read in our opening verse that a good man, out of the abundance of his heart, brings forth good things. All the good things you desire in life are already inside you. See, and bring them forth with your words. They already exist in the realm of the spirit, but your words give them tangibility.

CONFESSION

My imaginative power is my creative ability. Therefore, as I pray in the spirit, the pictures of my glorious life in Christ flood my mind, and as I speak, they become real. There’re no impossibilities with me; I live the glorious and triumphant life in Christ. Hallelujah!

#TALKINGSESSION

23RD JULY.

KINDLY SAY THESE WORDS OUT LOUD

Dear Father, I thank You for the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in my life, who teaches me the Word and unveils the realities of the Kingdom to me. I am alive unto God, I walk by faith, and not by sensory perception! I live from my spirit; thus, the circumstances of life are subdued before me. I live on God’s terms;

I reason with the mind of Christ, and my outlook on life is from the perspective of the Word which has given me wisdom and mind-set of the righteous. I speak the wisdom of God always, and declare excellence in my health, job, finances, and family. I am ushered into newer and greater levels of glory, victory and success, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God bless you

DATE: TUESDAY 23RD JULY 2019

THEME: WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING?

MEMORISE:

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. Galatians 6:4

READ: 1 Corinthians 3:9-15

9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

MESSAGE

While it’s one thing to build, it is another thing to build something that benefits mankind and glorifies God Almighty. God is therefore asking you today, “What are you building?”. When you consider the construction of the tower of Babel, you will understand the relevance of this question (Genesis 11:1-9). Although those people were indeed building, they were erecting an edifice that symbolized rebellion against God. Their example shows us that anyone building anything worthwhile must build in the pattern that God has established, and whether is being built must not go against His purpose.

Without a doubt, parents are builders of future generations but the question is, what type of generation are they building? In Genesis 18:19, God said of Abraham as a parent:

“For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.”

Can God say the same of you? Apart from parents, teachers are also builders. As a teacher, what are you building in your students? A good teacher should be able to say like Paul in Philippians 3:17:

“Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye
have us for an ensample.”

It is unfortunate that in some places, students dictate to teachers what the standard should be. Wherever this is happening, something is fundamentally wrong. A bad teacher will definitely build a faulty generation. Eventually, every bad will definitely reap the reward of their work. The story was told of a bad teacher who produced a half-baked medical doctor. Years later, this doctor was complicit in the death of the teacher’s child. Ministers of the gospel are also builders. In fact, they are the greatest builders of all because they build the Body of Christ. Paul wrote in today’s Bible reading that by God’s grace, he was a wise master builder who had laid the foundation of faith in people’s lives, warning others to be careful of how they built on the foundation. Why? The answer is found in 1 Corinthians 3:11, which says:

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

From this, we understand that it is possible to build junk upon a golden foundation. Such a building will not stand the test of time. Beloved, what are you building with your life? Remember that every man’s work shall be tested by fire and if it is burnt, it is counted as loss to its owner. This will not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, please make me a wise and faithful builder in Your vineyard, in Jesus’ Name.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Joshua 22
Ezekiel 21:6-23

AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE

HYMN 5: LET OTHERS SEE JESUS IN YOU.

1.While passing thro' this world of sin,
and others your life shall view,
Be clean and pure without, within;
Let others see Jesus in you.

Refrain:
Let others see Jesus in you,
Let others see Jesus in you.
Keep telling the story, be faithful and true;
Let others see Jesus in you.

2. Your life's a book before their eyes,
They're reading it thro' and thro'
Say, does it point them to the skis,
Do others see Jesus in you?

Refrain

3. Then live for Christ both day and night,
Be faithful, be brave and true,
and lead the lost to life and Christ.
Let others see Jesus in you.

Refrain

SEEDS OF DESTINY:
BY DR (PST.) PAUL ENENCHE
(DUNAMIS INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL CENTRE-DIGC)

TUESDAY 23RD JULY, 2019

TOPIC:
BITTERNESS – THE ENEMY WITHIN

SCRIPTURE: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Hebrews 12:15

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A broken spirit dries up the bones.

I once heard the story of a nurse who had blood cell cancer. She consulted a Christian haematologist, a specialist in blood diseases, for remedy. Surprisingly, the haematologist asked her, ‘Is there anyone who offended you so much that you are bitter against?’ And she opened up about her being bitter against her father because when she was a child, her mother was sick and her father sent her to call the village doctor but before she could return, her mother had died. No one explained anything to her but what she saw next was her mother being carried into a box (coffin). The question in her little mind was, ‘Why is daddy suffocating mummy?’ Before she could recover from that, her mother was buried. Afterwards, her father married another wife who began to maltreat her. That bitterness remained in her heart until adulthood and later manifested physically as blood cell cancer.

Now, the blood is made from bone marrow, and the Bible says that a broken spirit dries up the bones (Proverbs 17:22). That means when the spirit is broken by bitterness, the bone, and by extension, the blood can dry up or get afflicted.

The doctor talked her into forgiving her father, and immediately she forgave, within six weeks, every trace of cancer disappeared. All she needed to do was to release forgiveness and receive her healing.

Beloved, bitterness is a root that develops into some undesirable fruits and the fruits are afflictions, diseases, troubles, and torments (Hebrews 12:15, Matthew 18:28-34). Maybe you are bitter against someone, release forgiveness and you will receive healing and peace on every side.

Remember this: A broken spirit dries up the bones.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make demands on the grace to forgive always.

2. Forgive anyone who has offended you, and make up your mind to forgive all offences even in advance.

3. Refuse to be a source of offence to others.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE ROOT OF BITTERNESS

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to forgive those who offend me. I refuse to accommodate bitterness, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY BIBLE READING: 2 Chronicles 8:11 to 10:19, Romans 8:9 to 25, Psalm 18:16 to 36, Proverbs 19:26

QUOTE: If you harbour, even for a minute, the act of bitterness or unforgiveness, you are indirectly putting on the nature of satan the devil. Culled from AM I BITTER? By Dr (Mrs) Becky Paul-Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: The black bear can smell a food source 18 miles away, and can walk directly to it.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The grace to forgive is released upon you right now in Jesus’ Name. And every consequence of unforgiveness is cancelled by the Blood of Jesus in Jesus’ Name.

DON’T FORGET TO ATTEND: The Power Communion Service tomorrow with friends and loved ones for the preservation of your life and destiny by 5:30pm at the Glory Dome, the Lord’s Garden, Airport Road, Abuja. God bless you as you come

*OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL*

_A DAILY DEVOTIONAL BOOKLET FOR CHAMPIONS_

*DATE: TUESDAY 23RD JULY, 2019*

*TOPIC: THE TEACHER SENT HER HOME! PAIN IS NOT AN ENEMY!*

*BASIC SCRIPTURE: 2TIMOTHY 2:1-7*

A Warri, Delta State, Nigerian Schoolgirl Who Would Rather Be Flogged For Not Paying School Fees Than Go Home, received massive attention on the internet and local news in late March 2019.

The story of the 7 year-old primary school girl identified as Success, went viral after a video showed her lamentation on her inability to pay her school fees/levies of 12,000 naira and being sent out of school by her teacher. The Delta Stated Government suspended the head teacher for allegedly collecting unauthorized fees including examination levies from schoolchildren. In the video which went viral, the schoolgirl, Success Adegor from Okotie-Eboh Primary School in Sapele Local Government Area, was seen protesting against the school’s decision to send her home over her parents’ failure to pay her second term examination fee. But that singular act of being SENT OUT OF SCHOOL turned her into a celebrity instantly!

Various Government reached out to her for scholarships. SHE HAS SO MANY SCHOLARSHIPS now! That season of tears became her season of “MORE THAN ENOUGH.” Indeed the ways of God are past finding out! He used the teacher to send her away for her to meet her destiny. Just imagine a schoolgirl who was sent out of school for lack of funds, becoming a world star! Today, she has access to local and international TV Stations, radio stations, various government and foreign embassies! Ah! GOD of mysteries! What was meant to become SHAME to her became her reason for FAME! That too is the story of your life, family and ministry! Even in the most difficult times, your destiny cannot be truncated! Many times, battles and pain is the allowed route to your land of GRACE and DANCING! The Holy Ghost wants you to see every allowed BATTLE AS A MESSENGER, SENT TO MOVE YOU FROM STORY TO GLORY. No wonder Paul said in 2Timothy 2:3: “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

Yes! You are a SOLDIER in the war front of LIFE and you are to ENDURE HARDNESS because HARDNESS and TRIALS are not enemies but unwanted friends! They are your guides to your THRONE OF DESTINY! Hear David Weatherford,

“When faced with a challenge, look for a way, not a way out.” Then close with David Wiemers: *“Don’t let the low times keep you down. Learn from them and reach for the high times.”* The Holy Ghost is again declaring this: *NEVER SEE PAIN, BETRAYALS, disappointments, delays, false allegations, unfriendly friends, etc, as enemies! They are your ladder to your DESTINY LAND!* Yes! You will get there! Hold on and hold out! Pray now!

*PRAYER POINTS:* Worship God in your native dialet.
1. In your own words, pray about today’s word as led now.
2. Lord, help me to always remember that I AM A SOLDIER in the WAR FRONT OF LIFE! Help me to ENDURE hardness and TOUGH TIMES in Jesus name.
3. Holy Ghost, grant me the needed GRACE to hold on and hold out in every pain!

*CAC LIVING WATER*

*DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE*

*Tuesday, July 23, 2019.*

*TOPIC:* *HONOUR YOUR MARRIAGE*
*Read 1 Corinthians 7:1-5*

*MEMORISE*

*Marriage is honourable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge (Hebrews 13:4)*

*EXPOSITION*

Marriage is a union of all lifetime covenant between a man and a woman. It is a gift from God and a sacred institution that should be treated honourably among all Christians (Mal. 2:14). After all, God instituted and ordained it at creation (Gen. 2:18). God ordained marriage and sex within marriage relationship. Sexual intercourse is the deepest and most sensitive aspect of the marriage covenant. Sex makes the man and woman one body and soul (1 Cor. 6:16-18).

The sexual union should be within the bond of marriage covenant relationship. To engage in sex outside marriage is sin and disastrous. For the sacredness of marriage, God cannot help but judge such people. You dishonor God and your marriage by having sexual relationship outside of the marriage covenant.

According to our memory Scripture, God will judge the fornicators (single people who have sex) and adulterers (married people who have sex with people other than their spouses). God punishes pre-marital sex among the singles and extramarital sex among the married, immediately, with diseases, poverty, etc., and ultimately in hell (1 Cor. 6:9-10; Eph. 5:5-6).

To avoid pre-marital sex, the single brothers and sisters in the Lord should be strongly determined not to allow their fiancées/fiancés to see their nakedness before their wedding nights. To avoid extramarital sex, be resolute in the Lord never to defile your marriage bed (Job. 31:1; 1 Cor. 7:1-5; Heb. 13:4).

*PRAYER POINTS*

1. Father, help me to always stay away from casual and illicit sexual relationships.
2. Lord, grant all our single brothers and sisters grace to keep their bodies holy till the night of their wedding day.
3. Lord, give the married people enough grace to be faithful to their mates in marriage.
*EXTRA READING FOR TODAY: Job. 4:9 – 6:23; Acts 19:26 – 20:6*
