A lawyer claiming to be Regina Daniels' biological father has reacted to the news of her traditional marriage to billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko.
 
Jude Ojeogwu, a lawyer practising in Lagos, condemned the marriage between his daughter and a much older man. He said he's not aware of the union and didn't consent to it.
 

 
He told LIB that he's the real father of the former child actress and has photos of her from her naming ceremony to her child dedication to prove this.
 

 
A look at his Facebook account shows photos of Regina and her siblings, some posted as far back as 2012.
 

 
Reacting to her traditional marriage holding today, Ojeogwu wrote:
 

Regina daniel Ojeogwu is my biological daughter.What ever is ongoing is not to my knowledge and without my consent.The fact speaks for itself looking at the picture. Her mother Rita daniel is threading on a dangerous path and I hope she will retrace her steps. Even the initiation ceremony into otu odu appears completely strange to Regina daniel Ojeogwu. Regina is from ogwashi uku and not from olor as being rumored. All the opportunities for Mr Ned nwoko to discuss with me proved abortive not realising that we once lived in the same house in awoyokun street, onikpan, Lagos. The implication of all this is that she inpregnated herself. The name Regina was my late mother's name. I have tried to exercise restraint but Regina mother kept pushing me to wall. Am alive and not dead.

"Let's do things properly, he himself has children" Regina Daniels' father condemns Ned Nwoko for marrying his daughter without his consent (audio)






Regina Daniels' father has lamented about the wedding of his daughter which held in Delta state today without his consent.
 
In an audio recording obtained by LIB, Jude Ojeogwu, a lawyer residing in Lagos, said it is wrong for billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, 59, to marry his 20-year-old daughter without his consent. 
 

 
He added that he is upset by the harsh comments going around about him being an absentee father but said what hurts most are the comments from people claiming he's dead or will be better off dead.
 
He went on to address Ned Nwoko and said that as a father with multiple kids, he should follow due process before marrying his daughter.

"Regina Daniels' father never married Rita Daniels so he has no right to demand bride price" family source says







The sudden appearance of Regina Daniels' biological father tried to cast a blight on the young bride's day yesterday and was a source of great worry for Regina's mother. But family sources say Mr Jude Ojeogwu has no right to seek a bride price since he never paid Rita Daniels' bride price.
 
Ms Rita Daniels was reportedly concerned when the father of her kids publicly reacted to his daughter's wedding and said his consent was not sought by the much older billionaire groom, Ned Nwoko.
 
In a number of voice notes making the rounds online, Mr Ojeogwu claimed his daughter was born in 2001 and will turn 18 in October. He also claimed politician Ned Nwoko is older than 59. He said he knows this because he and Mr Nwoko grew up together. He added that it was wrong for them to go over his head and get married to his daughter.
 

 
The various interviews granted by Mr Jude Ojeogwu were distressing for the bride's mother Ms Rita Daniels and she reportedly panicked, a source close to the situation told LIB. Ms Rita Daniels later told her friends after yesterday's ceremony that she intends to head out to her new son-in-law's home in Abuja to "cool off" and may head to Dubai from there.

Friends of Ms Rita Daniels told LIB that Mr Ojeogwu has no right to claim certain dues now because he never paid Ms Daniels' bride price.
 
The source said, "a man who extracted 4 kids from one woman without paying a dime as bride price should not be talking about bride price let alone receiving one."
 

 
They added that, "Regina's father never married the mother, Rita so he has no right to demand bride price."
