Morning Devotional for Monday 25th March
#1
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

MONDAY, 25TH MARCH.

THE MESSAGE OF FAITH.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

When Jesus ministered, faith came alive in the hearts of His hearers. He let them know who God is, His eternal will, and what He’s already done for them. He said, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” (Matthew 7:7). In Mark 11:22-23, He taught the people, saying, “…Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you,

That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Neither the Pharisees nor the Sadducees ever taught the people about having the God-kind of faith, about believing and receiving. Many were enthralled by His message, because it inspired faith in their hearts towards God. They had thought that God only blessed whomever He chose. They had assumed that God wasn’t concerned about them. But Jesus taught that God loves everyone unconditionally, and all it takes to receive from Him is to simply believe: “…If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23).

As they watched Him cast out devils, open blind eyes, unstop deaf ears, and even raise the dead with an unusual demonstration of authority, many were convinced and had faith in the Father’s love for them. The Bible says many believed in His name, when they saw the miracles that He did (John 2:23). His message made it possible for them to believe and relate to a God that they couldn’t see physically. He made the Father real to them through His message of faith.

That’s the same message He sent us to preach and teach around the world. He said in John 20:21, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” If today, you’re faced with a situation that seems to have defied solution, you can trust God for a miracle. It makes no difference what the case is; only believe! It makes no difference if it’s a dead womb, a dead body, a dead business, or some other problem. He’s the God who “quickens” the dead! He gives life to the dead, and can breathe life into any seemingly dead situation. Glory to His Name forever!

PRAYER

Dear Father, you’re the great God of glory, and I worship you for your greatness, your love, your mercy, and your kindness. Thank you for giving me a victorious and glorious life in Christ; I win today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

Hebrews 11 AMPC Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.

#TALKINGSESSION

25TH MARCH.

KINDLY SAY THESE WORDS OUT LOUD

I thank you, blessed heavenly Father, for the victorious and glorious life You’ve given me in Christ. My understanding is enlightened to the revelations of Your Word today, therefore, I live, conscious of the fact that You hear and answer me always when I pray!

What a blessing this is; Christ is alive in me! My life is the manifestation of divinity for I am a partaker of the divine nature. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and I show forth the glory, beauty, excellence and perfections of Christ today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God bless you

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: MONDAY 25TH MARCH 2019

THEME: SINNER TURNED SAINT.

MEMORISE:

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 1Timothy 1:15

READ: 1 John 1:7-10

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

MESSAGE

Some people make defeatist statements about sin in order to justify their sinful lifestyle. Such people admit that everyone born of a woman is a sinner, but they hypocritically ignore the fact that has made provision available to turn every sinner into a saint by the power of atonement in the Blood of Jesus. One of the foremost apostles of Jesus Christ, Paul, in today’s memory verse affirms that a sinner can become a saint if he or she is willing to be transformed. The unwillingness of a sinner to be transformed into a saint through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ is what condemns him or her to eternal damnation. John 3:18-19 says:

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”

God is not interested in condemning anyone, and this is why He says to all in Isaiah 1:18-19:

“ Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:”

Jesus is still calling all those who labor and are heavy laden under the yoke of sin to come to him for rest (Matthew 11:28). When anyone comes to Jesus with a repentant heart and cry for mercy, He will abundantly pardon their sins (Isaiah 55:7). It is therefore important for people to take responsibility for their sins in order to receive pardon. Many people shift the blame for their sinful lifestyle to everything but themselves. Instead of acknowledging and confessing their sins and deciding to abandon the sinful act that have held them bound or so long, they keep making excuses. For example, some thieves and harlots will blame their sinful lifestyle on the economic recession in their country. If you have been wallowing in sin and passing the blame, I invite you today to come to Jesus Christ for pardon and experience a pleasant turnaround. In prayer, acknowledge and confess all your sins, asking Jesus to cleanse you with His Blood and to receive you into His family. Also, promise Him never to go back to your old lifestyle again. If you do this, Christ will cleanse you and transform you into a new creature in him as He promised in 2 Corinthians 5:17.

ACTION POINT:

Share the good news in today’s devotional with those in your neighborhood and with those within your sphere of influence on social media.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Ephesians 1-3

Jeremiah 5:1-17

AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE

HYMN 6: HAVE YOU BEEN TO JESUS FOR THE CLEANSING POWER?

1. Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Refrain
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

2. Are you walking daily by the Savior’s side?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Refrain

3. When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white!
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Will your soul be ready for His presence bright,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Refrain

4. Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb;
There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,
O be washed in the blood of the Lamb.
Refrain

*OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL*

_A DEVOTIONAL BOOKLET FOR CHAMPIONS_

*DATE: MONDAY 25TH MARCH, 2019*

*TOPIC: THE 2019 SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD*

*BASIC SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 8:9-20*

Up till recently, the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World were: *(1) The Hanging Gardens of Babylon (2) The Statue of Zeus at Olympia (3) The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus (4) The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus (5) The Colossus of Rhodes (6) The Pharos of Lighthouse off Alexandria and (7) The Pyramids of Egypt.*

Except the Egyptian Pyramids, the remaining six have long disappeared. A global competition to name the new Seven Wonders of the World was begun in 1999 by Swiss adventure Bernard Weber with almost 2000 nominations coming in from around the world. The new Seven Wonders were announced on the 7th of July 2007! They include the Great Wall of China (China), Christ the Redeemer Statue (Rio de Janeiro), Machu Picchu (Peru), Chichen Itza (Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico), The Roman Colosseum (Rome), Taj Mahal (Agra, India) and the Petra (Jordan)! There are other lesser wonders such as the Eiffel Tower of Paris and The Status of Liberty in the USA.

But in this year 2019, as the world seeks for objects and places of wonder, the Holy Ghost emphasis to you is that you must never forget that *there are two unbeatable wonders in this world: The first is your God and the second is you!* Isaiah 9:6 calls Jesus Christ, “WONDERFUL.” If you refuse to give up in that Red Sea experience (difficult trial), you will cross over with Him on dry land called wonders! Again, Psalm 139:14 says, “I will praise Thee: for I am fearfully and WONDERFULLY made.” So, apart from Jesus, you are also WONDERFUL – wonderful made!

Ah! YOU ARE A 2019 WONDER ON PLANET EARTH! Declare many times now: *“I am a generational wonder and I serve a wonderful God. The wonders of my God shall show forth in my life and ministry from this day and in this STORY TO GLORY year! I am not an object of pity! I am not an object of sympathy! I am an object of signs and wonders to show forth the glory of Jehovah God in the land of the living. So help me God!” Lift up your hands and praise the Lord now!*

*(Give somebody ODM, War Against Haman – 14, Children ODM and Cartoons as GIFTS)!
*PRAYER POINTS:* Take Song 4: My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less…

1. Thank God for the Word and pray about it as it affects you.
2. *Open your mouth and make the above declaration in this write up again.* O Lord, turn my life and ministry into a land of signs and wonders *(Pray it seriously).*
3. Lord, do for me what will make this world to glorify You. *(Pray it seriously).*
4. Agree with me; pray the Agreement Prayers on page 55 of the booklet *“WAR AGAINST HAMAN – 14*

*THE BIBLE-IN-ONE-YEAR: 2SAMUEL 9 – 12*
*BY: BISHOP (DR) CHRIS E. KWAKPOVWE (CEK)*
_PUBLISHER/AUTHOR AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF_

*Song 4: My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less*

1. My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

*Chorus*
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

2. When darkness veils his lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.

3. His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Supports me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul give way,
He then is all my hope and stay.

4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.

SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY 25 MARCH, 2019

TOPIC: DISCERNING THE VOICE OF GOD

SCRIPTURE: The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters. Psalms 29:3

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Inside the verse,"there is a Voice and when you are familiar with the Voice in the verse, you can hear the Voice anywhere you are.

The Voice of God is very important in the fulfilment of life and destiny. The Voice of God reveals the thoughts and ways of God. The Voice of God is key to upliftment in life and destiny. When you know what to do, you would leave where you are. So, the Voice of God is key to a change of status.

Now, it is important to know that the Word of God connects a person to the Voice of God. According to our anchor Scripture, the Voice of the Lord is on the waters (Psalms 29" ). This means,"if you want to hear the Voice of the Lord, look for the waters and what is the waters? It is the Word of God (Ephesians 5":26).

Beloved,"the Word is the surest and easiest way of hearing God. The truth of the matter is, you can familiarize yourself with the Voice of God through the Word of God. When you hear His Voice from the Word, you can recognize it outside the Word. When you hear the Voice of God from the Word of God, you can recognise it outside the Word of God. Inside the verse, there is a Voice and when you are familiar with the Voice in the verse, you can hear the Voice in the bus, market place, kitchen and anywhere you are.

My counsel is, familiarise yourself with the Word of God always in order to recognise His voice outside the Word.

Remember this": Inside the verse,"there is a Voice and when you are familiar with the Voice in the verse, you can hear the Voice anywhere you are.

ASSIGNMENTS":

1. Familiarize yourself with God’s Word by constant studies.
2. Look out for the Voice of God in the Verses of the Scripture whenever you study God’s Word. As you study,"ask, ‘Lord what are You saying here?’ and listen for what He says.
PRAYER": O Lord,"I ask that You speak to me as I study Your Word. Help me to be acquainted with Your Voice from Your Word, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE": DEDICATION TO PRAYER AND THE WORD.
DAILY READING: Deuteronomy 4:1 to 49,"Luke 6":39 to 7:10,"Psalm 68":1 to 18,"Proverbs 11":28.
QUOTE: God can speak to a person through the picture and the voice of his pastor. Culled from MAKING FULL PROOF OF MINISTRY by Dr Paul Enenche.
AMAZING FACT: Fingernails grow nearly four times faster than toenails.

*THE LIVING WATER*

*DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE*

*Monday, March 25, 2019*

*TOPIC: THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD*

*Read: Ephesians 1:9-11*

*MEMORISE: _In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will_ (Ephesians 1:11).*

*EXPOSITION*

Some people questioned whether the Lord is truly in control. They looked at tragedies in the world and wonder, if perhaps God is not powerful enough to overcome all evil. Or they encounter what seems like an insurmountable obstacle in their own lives and come to the conclusion, _Maybe His power is limited._

Brethren, we do not understand everything that happens in this life. But we know from the Scripture that God has ultimate authority: *The Lord has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all (Psa. 103:19).*

Consider the far-reaching implications of these words, it is clear that the Lord has complete control in all the universe-He reigns over everything and everyone, and His power is greater than all other strength. The _terms omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient_ are frequently used to describe Him. In other words, our God is all-powerful. He exists everywhere, and He is all-knowing-which means there is nothing beyond His awareness or His ability to direct and manage. And this limitless, unfathomable God, who is unhindered and fully in control, adopts us as His children. What an amazing thought! As we begin to grasp this truth, peace and rest flood our souls.

As you step out today, if you believe the Lord is all-powerful, is that idea simply “head knowledge,” or does it affect the way you think and feel? When you realise that nothing happens apart from God’s awareness, direction and loving purpose, it becomes possible to lay down worry and fear, and truly experience His peace.

*PRAYER POINTS*

*1.* Lord, let all Christians throughout the universe engender meaningful relationship with Christ, today and beyond.
*2.* Lord, I lay down my worry and fear to truly experience Your peace as I step out today.
*3.* Lord, come to the aid of all those passing through terrible situations in their lives’ endeavours.
*EXTRA READING FOR TODAY:* Deuteronomy 14:22 – 17:11; Luke 1:78 – 2:19
