6 friends killed in a car accident... sister accuses drunk driver of being a Yahoo boy with sinister intentions






A lady who lost six friends and her sister after a drunk driver rammed into them has taken to Facebook to mourn them and narrate how they died.
Temitope Hameed said the women had all gone for a vigil in a mosque along the Moshood Abiola way in Abeokuta, Ogun State. While performing ablution in preparation for prayers, a drunk driver rammed into them, killing 7 of them while 1 is in a coma.
 

 
The car which rammed into the young women had 4 occupants, one of them a woman. They all sustained injuries in the car.
According to reports, the drunk-driver lost control of the vehicle he was driving before he ploughed into the victims.
 

 
The Head of Operations Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Abeokuta Division, Olaleye Babajide, confirmed the incident. He said the accident occurred at about 10.30 pm on Friday, January 25, 2018.
He said:
 

The car swooped off the road, uprooted an electric pole and thereafter crushed the worshippers standing in front of the Rahamot Lahill Quareeb mosque located beside the road, killing them on the spot.

 

The official said the deceased were relaxing in front of the mosque in preparation for a vigil before tragedy struck.
 

 
He added:
 

The impact of the crash forced the authorities of the State Traffic officials to axe the car into pieces before the four occupants of the car could be removed from the wreckage.

 
Mr Babajide said the occupants of the car including the driver were drunk.
He said:
 

Overspeeding on the part of the driver was responsible for the crash. A number of alcoholic drinks, including tramadol were seen in the car,” he said.

He said two of the occupants of the car were arrested while attempting to run away from the scene of the accident. He added that the bodies of the victims have been deposited at the morgue of Federal Medical Centre(FMC).
 

 
Meanwhile, Temitope, while narrating how her friends and sister died, accused the drunk driver of being a Yahoo boy and insinuated that there was something sinister about their death. She said there was "no single drop of blood" at the scene. She added that if the "Yahoo boy" plans was to use their blood for money rituals they will end up in jail.
She wrote on Facebook:
 

So hard to say Rip to u girls, I never knew d day u attend my sis wedding will b d last day we would see, I really love you and miss u (7 heart at a time) you only went to mosque to serve d almighty Allah for tahjud u were performing ablution to pray ,wen dis avensis car kill 7peopls at a time,one still in coma and notin happen to dis yahoo guys at olorunsogo central mosque Abeokuta .i never believed nt until wen I got to ur school and see thousand of people, still don't believe wen Dey took us to were d accident happen nt until wen I got to Fmc idi aba abeokuta were I saw u girls dead, some in pieces. We called dis iku sheidih in Islam, may Allah grant u aljana fridauos and console we families dat dis happen to. Bt am sure insha Allah if those yahoo boys use u all for sacrifice, Dey will die in jail bcoz no single drop of blood where d accident happen. Bt Allah knows all. Rest in peace to u all.

 

 
Mourning her sister, she wrote:

Aaah olohun oba ajidara, oba ti o se pe ni ejo, u never tell last Sat will be day I will set my eyes on u b4 u left home 4 skull telling me we soon coz u ar cumin home for ur I. T by march nt knowing am cumin to ur skull seeing u lifeless,bak home wit ur dead body ? ? ? ? ur 20years wit us was full of fun, joy in the family. We love u bt Allah loves u most. Am deeply in pains wit families. 
Rest on my dear Sis till we meet and path no more.. O ma se, kokoro ko je kin gbadun obi to gboo ,26-01-2018(a bad memory)
