Fani-kayode Reacts To Father Mbaka's Attack On Peter Obi
#1
@POLITICSNGR

Former Aviation minister, Femi Fani-kayode has revealed what the catholic church must do to the spiritual director of Adoration Ministries, Father Ejike Mbaka for embarrassing ex-governor of Anambra state and current PDP Vice-presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for not donating to his church during a Bazaar.

Fani-Kayode expressed his displeasure at the Priest via a post on his social media page. He wrote;

"I am disgusted by the words of Father Mbaka. It does not matter to me which candidate he supports but what galls me is his begging for money from both sides in return for favourable prophesies.

This is disgraceful and his superiors in the Catholic Church should call him to order."

Tayo Demola Blasts Father Mbaka Over His Embarrassment Of Peter Obi

Human Rights Activist Tayo Demola has blasted Reverend father Ejike Mbaka, the spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministries of the catholic church for publicly embarrassing the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi over Obi's inability to donate money to his church during a church program held in the church which the former governor attended along with other dignitaries.

In a video posted on his Twitter handle, the activist condemned the attitude of the man of God and that of many other Nigerian pastors who have turned the pulpit into an avenue to generate income for themselves and their churches at the detriment of the masses of Nigeria.

He commended Peter Obi for his integrity and for resisting all attempts by father Mbaka to force him to donate money to his church. Tayo Demola called on all Nigerians to rise up and resist any attempt by any person to steal our common wealth all in the name of donating such money to churches to please their pastors.

Watch the video below. And let's have your views. Lol...

What do you think about this raging issue? Pastors now use the alter to siphon money??

For the very first time in a decade, words fail me.

That Mbaka/Peter Obi video portrays the Adoration Pigeon Priest as a morally bankrupt religious Extortionist who specializes in peddling cash-induced prophecies and selling same to the highest bidder.

But to be clear, Mbaka has always been a Fraud. Those who pretend not to have noticed before now have simply not been paying attention.

It was in 2002 that Mbaka first unraveled. That year, he would gather his congregation at the Adoration Ministry and ask everyone to start pointing at the Lion building (Enugu govt house) while commanding Holy Ghost fire against the then governor Chimaroke Nnamani whom he said was a wicked Governor who God already told him would not live beyond that year not to talk of winning the 2003 re-election. This Priest didn’t just stop at this weekly harvest of Holy Ghost fire against the governor, he actually went a step further to release a special audio tape titled “This Wicked Generation” in which he swore that if Chimaroke won his 2003 reelection bid, he (Mbaka) would know he was not serving a living God and would therefore resign as a Priest.

2003 election came and governor Chimaroke won his re-election, finished his second term and even contested and won another election as a Senator.

Mbaka neither resigned as he swore he would nor did he even apologize for lying in God’s name.

And here we are!

Well, like I said, I can’t find the right words to qualify the mountain of shame I watched in that video. Not only did this so called Man of God openly suggest to Obi that a huge financial contribution could sway his 31st December prophecy to his favor, he turned around to threaten that the Atiku-Obi ticket would fail unless they build a project for his ministry and still told the Buhari team that Buhari would fail unless he came to visit his ministry with monetary gift. It begs the question, who between Atiku and Buhari will Mbaka’s pigeon God gift with victory if the two contenders were to donate the same amount to his Ministry???

This clown publicly told Kano state governor Ganduje a.k.a Gandollar, that he (Mbaka) embarrassed his own brother, Peter Obi simply because he was anticipating Buhari’s harvest of cash. I watched that part and almost died crying.

There is no way anyone would try to analyse that video without going crazy.

Shame on the Catholic Church for allowing a religious Buccaneer to continue to subject the entire church to bottomless ridicule!

But beyond the shamelessness and unintelligence of that yahoo Priest, there is a huge lesson Peter Obi’s refusal to succumb to Mbaka’s blackmail and nursery school manipulation should teach all of us and the lesson Is:

Always stand your ground once you are reasonably convinced you are standing on the right, just and fair ground.

By refusing to publicly announce the project he voluntarily agreed to do for the church, Peter Obi was living true to the gospel of Matthew 6 verse 1 which admonished Christians not to announce their good deeds before men, but to do so secretly so that their father in heaven who sees in secret will reward them. Unfortunately, this gospel was lost on Mbaka, the so called man of God

For Shame!

Anyone who sees Peter Obi should help give him a hug on my behalf. In a working country, that man should be contesting to be the President, not the Vice. His principle, integrity, prudence in managing resources and calmness even in the face of provocation should be studied as a 3 unit course in school.

Ohaneze Reacts To Father Mbaka's Controversial Statements On Atiku & Peter Ob

Following Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka's controversial statement on 2019 elections, Ohanaeze has reacted.[Image: Mbaka-peter.jpg]
Rev. Father Mbaka

Ohanaeze Youth Council has defended fiery Catholic priest, Rev Father Ejike Mbaka’s recent controversial statements on the 2019 general election which has drawn wide condemnations in some quarters, according to The Nation.

Mbaka had on Sunday predicted doom’s day for President Muhammadu Buhari and the Presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, saying that none of them would win, without mentioning the eventual winner.

He also criticized the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Vice Presidential flag bearer, Peter Obi for not doing anything for his church despite his support in the past while he was governor of Anambra state.

Mbaka’s statements have drawn widespread criticisms from Nigerians who accused him of selling his blessings to the highest bidder.

But in a statement on Tuesday in Abakaliki the Ebonyi state capital, after its meeting with 49 affiliated groups in the South east,  OYC argued that the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministries’ statement were in order.

The statement was signed by Comrade Obinna Achionye, Deputy President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council worldwide, Rev Bobby Ezemonye , Chairman of all Youth leaders, Dr Helen Ogbonnaya President, South East Women Professionals, Mr Chidera Uduocha, President, Igbo Students movement and Mazi Okemiri Alex, President, World Igbo Youth Council.

The group while describing the attack on Obi as unfortunate and avoidable, urged the former governor to change his approach to campaign issues in other not to repeat the electoral loss of the PDP in 2015 when he was the campaign Director of the party for the entire Southern Nigeria.

The Group said: “Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide with her affiliated groups and Igbo groups insists that Former Governor Peter Obi and PDP Vice Presidential candidate’s embarrassment at Adoration Ministry during the annual Adoration Ministry baarzar at Enugu is unfortunate and avoidable but call on Obi to change strategy in approach to campaign issues so as not to repeat the electoral loss of 2015 Presidential election where he was the PDP campaign director for entire Southern Nigeria in which the South East produced poor results, and also the last Anambra election where PDP came a distant 3rd”.

“The coalition of Igbo groups and OYC agreed that Rev Fr Mbaka’s fearless stand to both Peter Obi and Kano Gov Ganduje to send messages to Atiku And President Buhari is in order, and hail Sen Hope Uzodinma”.

The group noted that it will make its stand on the 2019 election in January after Fr Mbaka’s new year prophesy on the 31st of December and after its negotiations with stakeholders and contestants.

“We call for calm in this festive period and urge the security Agencies especially the military to be friendly with Ndigbo as we have set up machinery to assist the security Agents to curb crime and kidnapping during this period”.

Catholic Church Reacts To Father Mbaka's Controversial Political Statement

The Catholic Church has distanced itself from controversial clergyman and Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, who in a recent video, was seen berating former Anambra state governor and PDP Vice Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for refusing to openly donate to his ministry.

Yesterday, a video of Father Mbaka verbally attacking Peter Obi for not saying how much he was donating to his ministry at his church's bazaar and annual harvest service, went viral.

In the video, Father Mbaka said neither the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, nor President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, willld win the 2019 presidential election.
Quote:“Listen, so that we won’t be deceiving God. As you are standing in the presence of these children of God, tell God what you will do for Him… It means you don’t want to do anything for God. Let me believe in fear, but this is a political statement. God hates stinginess. What I am saying is not for your pleasure. I am saying what will save your life, otherwise, you and Atiku will fail. The way you and Atiku are moving will end in shame.” he said

Reacting to the controversy that the video has generated, the Director of Communications, Catholic Diocese of Enugu, Rev. Fr. Benjamin Achi, in an interview with The PUNCH, said the diocese was not in support of Mbaka's comments and that it was wrong for any priest to make political statements.

“The diocese is not in support of any priest making political statements. The church is supposed to be apolitical and the Bishops’ conference has said that repeatedly. We are not supposed to make any political statements from the pulpit within the context of Mass, that is, church service. So, it would be wrong to stand at the pulpit to make any political statements.

There is a document issued by the Bishops’ conference to that effect. So, he just spoke on his own, not representing the diocese. We are not expected to come out openly to support a particular candidate for any reason. The church law does not accept such a thing. So, it would be wrong for anybody (priest) to come out and give an endorsement to a particular candidate.” he said

Speaking further, Achi said that disciplinary action against Mbaka would be carried out by the priest’s administrative head if the need arises.
