President Muhammadu Buhari departs for the Netherlands - Edoman - 07-15-2018 President Muhammadu Buhari departs for the Netherlands July 15, 2018  politics                           President Muhammadu Buhari today departs for The Netherlands to participate in activities in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), at The Hague. Buhari is the only world leader invited to deliver a keynote address during the Solemn Hearing at Courtroom 1 of the ICC’s Headquarters.  Buttressing Nigeria’s commitment as a member of the Assembly of State Parties to the Rome Statute of the ICC, the President will use the global platform to reaffirm Nigeria’s support to the fundamental values of the Rome Statute and to the ideals of the ICC.  A statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, yesterday said President Buhari would also highlight his administration’s campaign against corruption in Nigeria.
