Herdsmen Attack Maraban Kantona Plateau, 4 Killed, Church, Hospital, House Burnt - Edoman - 07-02-2018 In spite of the curfew imposed on Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, four persons were killed in Maraban Kantona, a village located along the boundary of Mangu and Barkin Ladi LGA in the early hours of Sunday morning. It was gathered that the attackers numbering over 200, invaded the village in motorcycles at about 2:45am when the victims were asleep, wreaked havoc and escaped before the arrival of security operatives. A Baptism Church, its pastorium, Government Hospital and 17 houses burnt were razed by the assailants.
