Paris Saint-Germain and bitter French rivals Marseille were both fined and had their supporters sanctioned by UEFA on Thursday after outbreaks of trouble in European competition.
PSG, who were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid, were ordered to close the north stand at their Parc des Princes stadium when they next play a home European tie.
UEFA said this is punishment for fans throwing fireworks onto the pitch during the second leg of their last-16 tie with Real.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has been linked to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich as a possible replacement for Jupp Heynckes next season.
According to reports, Bayern’s director of sport Hasan Salihamidzic has recommended Pochettino to club bosses Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeness.

Former President of the Federation Internationale de Football Association, Joseph Blatter, said Thursday that he does not support the boycott of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia amid the poisoning scandal.
Former Russian spy, Sergei Skripal, and his daughter were found unconscious in a Salisbury shopping centre in early March.
They are being treated for exposure to “A234” substance, a Novichok type of military-grade nerve agents, according to the UK experts.

Athletics legend Usain Bolt, who has ambitions to start a football career at 31, will train with Borussia Dortmund on Friday, the Bundesliga club has announced.
“Bolt is coming!” tweeted the German league club while the Jamaican sprint star wrote “BVB, get ready for Friday #BVBolt #NewLevels @bvb09 @pumafootball,” on his official account.

Ilkay Gundogan believes he is finding his best form again having recovered from an injury-plagued start to life at Manchester City.
The German international, 27, arrived in the summer of 2016 having suffered a dislocated kneecap during his final few weeks at Borussia Dortmund, delaying his debut until the September of his debut season.
And having fought his way back to full fitness, he played just 17 games before rupturing cruciate knee ligaments and spending eight months on the sidelines.
But he returned to the side in September as City beat Watford 6-0 at Vicarage Road and has since played 38 times.
With his influence steadily increasing, he says he is relishing being a regular in the team.
