4 Arrested For Phone Theft At Governor Akeredolu’s Inauguration (Photo) - Edoman - 03-03-2021

Quote:The Ondo state police command has arrested four men for reportedly stealing phones during last week’s second-term inauguration of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

IgbereTV reports that the victims were arrested by men of the Operation Scorpion Squad on the Ilesha-Akure Road while returning to their bases in Oyo, Osun and Kwara states.

The suspects who committed the offence at the event held at the Dome have been identified as Ojo Femi, 30, Abiodun Adewale, 45, Kayode Olarewaju, 45 years and Aiwole, 25.

Police spokesman, Tee-Leo Ikoro said seven phones stolen at the inauguration ceremony were recovered from the suspects who would soon be charged to court.
