Police arrests 35-year-old man for allegedly defiling minor - Edoman - 09-13-2020 Police arrests 35-year-old man for allegedly defiling minor   on  September 13, 2020 The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 35-year-old man for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl. The suspect, Dahiru Shuaibu of Sabon Gari community in Girei, near the state capital, Yola, is said to have sexually assaulted the minor who lives within the same neighbourhood. This was contained in a police press statement obtained on Sunday. “The Command through its gallant men attached to Girei Division apprehended a 35-year-old Dahiru Shuaibu, a resident of Sabon Gari Sangre in Girei Local Government Area for having carnal knowledge of a 10-year-old girl,” the statement said. In the statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, the Police Command assured that the victim would get all necessary medical attention. It added that the suspect would be prosecuted to ensure that his victim gets justice.
