109 persons die in Ogun auto crashes - Edoman - 09-06-2020 109 persons die in Ogun auto crashes   on  September 5, 2020 At least, 109 persons have been confirmed dead in multiple road accidents across Ogun State within the first eight months of the year 2020. The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps said 665 persons sustained varying degrees of injuries from January to August of the year. TRACE spokesman, Babatunde Akinbiyi, told DAILY POST in a statement that there were no fewer than 527 road accidents during the period under review. According to him, 469 crashes involved vehicles, while 58 others involved motorcycles. Of the 109 dead victims, Akinbiyi disclosed that 83 were males, and 26 were females. The TRACE spokesman maintained that 487 of the 665 injured persons were males, while 178 were females. He revealed that 74 persons died from vehicle crashes, while 35 persons died from Okada accidents.
